Used to love this place and was a regular, but due to changes over time it went from a 5-Star to a 1-Star for me. They now have overpriced food and drinks, and spotty service depending on who's working. Even the rotating "Special" is priced higher than what they used to be. Pleasantly surprised at how nice this place is! It's just a hop, skip and jump from work, so a few coworkers stopped by for happy hour (instead of going to kickboxing class--- oops!). The outside lot is small, so take the alley to the first side street to find easy parking. The inside has ample bar seating and tables (although our table was pretty shaky!), with exposed brick and lots of beer memorabilia. It had a nice vibe. Drink specials were abundant and cheap on this day- $3 craft beers (which ended up being all the beers we picked, from bud light to purple haze), mixed drinks were about $6- not bad overall! There was just one bartender for the whole place, and she was handling serving food, checking on tables and tending the bar all at once. She came by frequently and came back with refills in no time. I was impressed! For food, they have a good looking menu of bar food options- wings, burgers, and apps. They offer a burger of the month, which was the turkey sweet and spicy "health" burger (they had that word in quotes too!). 3 of us got that, and it was delicious! A juicy, savory burger, topped with smoked gouda, pineapple and sriracha. I'd never had pineapple on a burger or sriracha sauce before, but I enjoyed it all. I have lived down the street from here for about 3 years and always thought the place looked sketchy. It looks like a biker bar on the outside. But... My momma always told me looks can be deceiving so we decided to check it out. We came here the Sunday during 4th of July weekend. The only person in the place was the bartender. We sat at the bar and ordered some drinks. The bartender suggested that we try the Merkts cheese on our burgers so my boyfriend definitely went that route when we ordered. I ended up with a Cajun chicken sandwich and the boyfriend got some sort of burger. The food was phenomenal!! My chicken was cooked perfect. I will admit that the fries aren't my style. They have the really thin cut, almost shoestring, french fries. There is a nice seasoning on them. I'm just a fan of a more potatoy fry. Fast forward... It's late August now. We've gotten carry out a few times. This is where it's amazing. I can get a basic 1/3 # cheeseburger, my choice of cheese, with fries for $5. The burgers are just fantastic so this is always #1 when we want burgers. It's cheaper and better than McDonalds!! read more

We just went here for lunch today because it's close to the hospital... how convenient for us that are sick of the hospital cafeteria food! The interior is clean and open and the seating is comfortable. There were probably 4 other tables filled and a few people at the bar. There was one woman bartending (I wish I'd gotten her name!) and she was helping all of us. Even with her helping everyone in the place she was quick and friendly. I ordered the sliders (they were on special) and my friend ordered the Big Corner Burger. I'm happy and kinda sad about the food. The burgers were a great size (huge!) and the buns were DELICIOUS but the burgers seemed super greasy. However, they weren't heavy and the meat was cooked well and seemed of great quality. The server also brought us frequent diner punch cards to get a free burger after 6 visits... we'll have those filled quickly. We'll definitely return for lunch and I can't wait to take advantage of enjoying a cocktail outside when the weather warms up. Thumbs up, BCT... we'll see you soon! read more

Pathetic. A sorry excuse for a bar. We came here on Saturday night because of the advertised $10 domestic buckets on the website. After ordering food and beer the young bar tender said she would not honor the price on the website and charged us $12 per bucket. We asked for a manager and they said a manager was not available (the manager later came out and was completely wasted). We left the bar and said cancel the food at which point the bar-tender and the manager walked out towards us and said they were going to call the police. We happily invited them to call the police probably 10 times, they never did, and at which point the manager (old blonde lady who was completely wasted) said "get the f**** out of here and never come back you f******* piece of s***!" trust me lady we wont be back...lay off the bottle while you're at work. The young lady behind the counter is doomed. She asked why I was "yelling at her" when I was talking to her....lady if I was yelling at you you would have known. Its 2019 and they wont honor their websites price? Do yourself a favor and just avoid this place. Ive been going to bars for a long time and I have never once gotten in an argument like this nor have I ever seen anything as pathetic as this place. Went with a group for the first time, cocktails and food with friends, what can be better! Food and drinks were both good, service was good. The owner came over and chatted for a while. (NIce Touch!!) Love the Moose head on the wall! Took my boyfriend here for lunch before dragging him out to shop for our SuperBowl party on a Saturday afternoon. The service at BCT really does depend on who's working there is no consistency when it comes to drinks, food, staff, tabs, even their hours. I originally came on here to see if they were still open because the parking lot is always empty and the bar always looks dark and closed. Seems like after reading the reviews I'm not the only one who got screwed by their manager/bartender I stopped going for a while but swallowed my pride and went back to have a few drinks for a coworkers birthday I was greeted by Nicky a newer bartender she was great and knew her stuff- she made me one of the tastiest Cosmos I've ever had and I've tried plenty. The bar seemed bright, lively, fun and overall great service which is what it was missing. The best part of the night - I wasn't overcharged. My friends and I were really impressed and started going more routinely and never had a bad experience or left feeling ripped off when she was behind the bar. The past couple visits have just been awful the bar itself is filthy and dirty, the food was terrible and the quality of the food seems to have changed. Our orders are always Wrong, tabs were higher than usual AGAIN, prices displayed weren't the prices we were charged. The staff seems burned out, bored, and could care less about any of the issues or to pick up a rag to clean. Seems like ever since they replaced Nicky with a new bartender who the manager must have trained in "bad service and attitude 101" the place has taken a nose dive My friends and I have decided to ditch this place all together after giving it so many chances but for the neighborhoods sake I hope BCT's owners turn things around instead of letting their greedy manager keep business and customers away. read more

Went here for the first time today with my wife for a late lunch. There were a few cars in the parking lot, but then again it is a bar on snowy Saturday. There was a large party and then 2 other people there. There was only one waitress on duty that was also the bartender. She did a good job and we enjoyed our burgers. I ordered mine w/onion rings and my wife ordered hers w/fries. She did not like the fries but I did. I love this place. Started going with my co-workers after work on a weekly basis now. The food is the best I've ever had at a bar. The Smokehouse burger is great, and you can substitute chicken for the burger. And it's also very reasonable priced. Beers are always served in a cold glass.Can't go wrong.
