This is one of the best places to go. People and patrons are great. Food is delicious and quick. The owners couldn't be any nicer.

I randomly stumbled upon this restaurant when I was browsing which restaurants participated in the…read more2026 Chicago restaurant week. Posto 31 is located in Lagrange Park which is just slightly outside and west of the city. Their restaurant week deal is $45 per person for dinner and every adult in the party is required to participate. We tried the following: 1) Pork belly with a brown butter sweet potato mash and apple slaw - This was a delicious and refreshing appetizer. The fat isn't excessive and there is a good sear with the pork belly. I think it was different in a sense that it didn't exactly go with the Italian theme. 2) Arancini with chicken, parmesan, mozzarella, and marinara. This is the standard fare and you can't go wrong with this selection. 3) Faroe Island salmon with squash puree and Brussel sprout slaw. The salmon was well executed and I loved how it was paired with the slaw. 4) Arrabbiata with squid ink linguini and jumbo shrimp. This was the star of the night and what drew our attention when we first reviewed the restaurant week menu. It is rare to find squid ink linguini in the city and neighboring suburbs. The portion was huge and the flavors were absolutely delicious. We are already planning a return to order this again. 5) Tiramisu was the standard fare and once again, the portion was huge. We demolished it though. 6) Cookie skillet had a square of chocolate chip cookie topped with candied pretzels, vanilla ice cream, and whipped cream. We did not get to try it because our girls just took it to town. So needless to say, it was thoroughly enjoyed. We also ordered the kids' an eight inch pepperoni pizza. It was more than enough for our two girls to share.

We really enjoyed our time at the bar - when seated we ordered our dinner and the food was also beyond delicious Try the chicken limone!!! This place is classy and close to home. It felt very elevated. Service was great all around (Liz). We will make this a regular date spot and bring friends.

The environment is inviting and laid back where you can have a beer and play slots while enjoying your wings. Me and my co-workers go there every week. Just note that the wings are pricey, but this is due to the quality of the chicken that they purchase (organic non-GMO) and the size. The chicken is never frozen and it's fresh. I recommend anyone who likes to eat good wings to try this spot out!

Can you guess which? If you guessed ramen, you're wrong. They stopped serving food when COVID hit or around COVID. I was bummed to say the least because per Yelp, they had some pretty decent ramen. Had my mouth all watering for some good ramen only to get disappointed. Oh well, they did have another one of my favorite things - SLOTSSSSS! Yassssssss! I popped 10 bucks in one of'em and less than 10 mins later I left with a hundred and two bucks. #YaGirlWasHappy I'd say that more than made up for the no ramen having restaurant/slot establishment. I wish I could recommend them for the ramen but I can't but if you looking to win some money playing the slots, this is your place.

It's the perfect hangover burger: simple, juicy, and served with just a side of chips. Sometimes less is more, and they nail it. My only small gripe is that they don't serve bacon or offer many topping options, but honestly, the burger is so good it barely matters. Whether you're grabbing a late-night bite or recovering the next day, this place always hits the spot.

My friends and I have stayed away from here due to rude staff, riff raff, fights, etc. in the last several years. We decided to give them a try a week ago as we were assured by another patron that it was under new ownership. The new owners supposedly cleaned house and removed all the previous troublesome staff. Everything seemed to have improved from our visit here a week ago, but that's because Michelle was not there. We had zero issues with the staff that day, we were served without issue, and overall we thought the renovations were an improvement. The prices have gone up but they have added premium beverages to their selection. Unfortunately, Michelle was not included in the staff overhaul, and mistreated my friend during a recent visit. It is a real shame that The Cordial Inn continues to have problem bartenders, because this place *used* to be a gem. It's now a far cry from cordial. The interior renovations are not worth it for any of us to tolerate disrespectful behavior from bar staff. I am beyond offended that the new owners allow the bar staff to treat customers badly. There are plenty of other choices in the area, and my choice is to spend my money where the staff appreciate my money and patronage.
