Service from manager JIan was horriable after explaining to to him that the service we received on the phone was horrible. Not only did Marisol had us waiting 15 min on hold hearing a whole conversation she was having she then proceeded to hang up the phone on us . I understand they get busy but don't put customers on hold for 15 minutes asking them to hold and have a whole other conversation about an order you screwed up on and then hang up! This is actually a pretty cool spot. It sort of blends in along Cermak, and it looks like every other bar. A coworker recommended it and that's how I first found out about it. Now, I've been there a few times. I like the Mexican vibe to it -music and décor; mostly younger locals but there was no shade for my "older" self. What really solidified it for me was the food. So pictured here we have shrimp tacos. If I'm not mistaken these and fish tacos are this month specials. And I'm absolutely in love. Pleeasseee make these a permanent item. There's a soy glaze and Mayo, and I get mine topped with cilantro and onion. Add a little red salsa and these are heaven. I've been ordering them at least once a week. And will definitely order more before the month is up and they aren't available anymore. I do love the steak tacos as well here. I'm excited to try out more of the menu very soon! I'm glad I found out about this place because it's walking distance from my house. I ordered a steak taco with everything and a Pork taco with cilantro and onions with a Cantarito. The food was delicious. The meat was well seasoned and full of flavor. The only issue I had with my food is that they got my order wrong by switching the toppings but it didn't ruin my meal. The Cantarito is a good tequila drink to try! This is a good spot and I definitely will be returning! read more

Found the Guadalajara Grill, accidentally. Was trying to go to Big Hurt Brewery, which was closed. Guadalajara has Negra Modelo on tap and excellent tacos and bisteca. It is a local place with a pool table, juke box, and screens with everything from soccer to football. Has a casual ambiance, good service and good food. Whether I come with my wife or friends I always have a good time, the food here is excellent. The beer is always cold and they have a good variety of lagers. The price is reasonable, but I think the service is always top notch. Always a smile and quick service. My go to food here is a shrimp cocktail. Its large and delicious. I was excited to order some delivery Mexican food and found this place via the foodler app with great reviews(and I had a foodler credit I was trying to use up). We picked out two entrees and chips and salsa, which would've been about a $30 order. The foodler app stated the chips and salsa side was $3. About 5 minutes after ordering we got a RUDE phone call from the restaurant stating: "We don't charge $3 for chips, it's $6 or $8, so what do you want to do??" Been here before, cozy lil spot for mexican food(appetizers) and drinks. Was here for Cinco de Mayo(5/5/15) & there were great drinks available. We had the Cantaritos which were small clay jars containing tequila & citrus juices and we also tried the Mango Margaritas(sorry, no pics)which looked pretty but were huge let downs. It was more bitter than sweet but was slushy which we preferred. The waitress was very attentive and polite in dealing with my sister's drunk friends. They do host pay-per-view events here on weekends, call to verify. I will definitely be back for a Cantarito sometime. read more

Omg! I ordered three things tonight the Burrito Suizo (beef), Cóctel de Camaron (shrimp cocktail) and Ceviche de Camaron (Shrimp Ceviche). The star of the show was totally the shrimp ceviche, it was so fresh and full of flavor it had a lot of shrimp and avocado which I loved.
