Really like this bar. The service is great. It's a nice place for a drink and to chill. We came here for a bite to eat and to watch the fireworks. The food is just pub food but the pizza was quite good. Reasonable prices and a comfortable place to have drinks with friends. read more

This place is an enigma. Sometimes it's the best food in town, other times like tonight their pork chop sandwich is suddenly ground meat that looks deep fried with no bone + no flavor. adding Insult to injury is there's no grilled onions, no mustard -cmon man! Their drinks are very overpriced, and the crowd is not friendly sometimes downright hostile regulars if you dare to sit at the bar in a seat they feel is reserved for one of their after work buddies. Later crowd is just what you're looking for if you need the f-bomb dropped three times in every sentence - loudly. Every once in awhile it's a great place, but mostly it's just frustrating. When the food is good the place is spot on...roll the dice, I guess. read more

The lady they hired in kitchen clearly doesn't how long to put food down for a certain amount of time , Ordered wings all time from here all time favorite with a little drink , But sadly this time around soon as I bit my wing it was still raw from the inside , made me lose my complete appetite. read more

The bartenders are friendly! Although the sometimes spend more time talking to friends than serving the clients. Enjoyed the crowd they bring in on Saturday karaoke... overall not bad. I have yet to try the food but we will see. read more

I give them ZERO stars. The first time I came here it was to buy my bf a bday drink. & the plp there are older... 40+ including the bartender, but that wasn't the issue. The issue was that the bartender was really rude & not friendly at all. The 2nd time I came here I thought, maybe she was in a bad mood or had a bad day, let's try one more time. So my gf & I go to buy some shots & of course the same old bartender was so rude & not friendly AT ALL. I went to put in a dollar into the music box & my gf & I were talking & she rudely says "are you guys done putting $ in because we want the tv on" with the control in her hand.. My gf & I looked at each other & said sure. I don't know if she was rude because we're younger. But we felt discriminated because of our age. NEVER AGAIN WOULD I GO THERE & I TELL ALL MY FRIENDS & PLP I TALK TO, TO NEVER STEP IN THAT PLACE. GET A NEW BARTENDER "sweet" spot. read more

I still call this place the Innish. This bar is right next to Chef Shangri-La, which will only help you if you're immune to Dr. Fongs. Randy, the owner, usually sits at the front door and IDs most everyone that walks through the door. Seeing as how many cops come here, that's a good thing. Drinks are decently priced, but the best part is that they stay open to 4 am. There is also a kitchen and that stays open pretty late too. read more

I've been a regular for the past year. The food is great, the drinks are reasonably priced, and there's daily drink specials. Thursday nights and weekends are pretty busy. Usually before 11 PM it's a great spot to grab a drink and relax watching a game. Bartenders are also great. read more

I went to this bar with a few friends and we are lgbtq the bartender who's name is Dee as she said kept coming to us and ignored us several time her excuse was "sorry they distracted me". That was so rude especially asking us what we want and than just ignoring saying she was distracted but she was already taking our order! Again I order 2 absolute vodka drinks Charged be $10 than she was like the minimum is $15 so I ordered another absolute and charged me $9..50 to add one I was upset but she made excuses so I just was so over it, and I really think she was just discriminating. read more

This place is awesome! Just moved to the area. Burger is outstanding, bartenders friendly (they put up with a lot from rowdy regulars). For $6 you get an amazing burger and fries, I left very impressed. Every neighborhood needs a great local like this glad I live so close. read more

Small cheap menu behind bar is a good thing. Always like a bar that is not ashamed at serving food and illustrating it. The bar was small and older owner is glued to the corner making his presense felt eyeing everyone. Uncomfortable. Another one of the late bars in the area. It is on the smaller side, with a golf theme to it. Very friendly bar staff, and yes the owner most likely is usually sitting at the end of the bar carding everyone coming in, or shaking hands to welcome you. The drinks can be pretty stiff, and the prices I cant complain with. They also have suck-n-blow shots which is a must try if you have never done one! They have a digital juke box, and a dart board in the back. There is one person bathroom for the ladies, so be patient. All in all it's a great bar, with character, and yes a large group of cival servants of all kinds frequent here! read more

The Sweet Spot has a uniqueness about it where it can almost can have the feel of two different types of bars. They are open until 3am daily and if the loud 20's something crowd is your thing, then go after 1am! The rest of the time is a more quiet, laid back kind of crowd. The customers are widely varied from all backgrounds so everyone should feel comfortable. I will admit I have not met every bartender, but those I have met have been kind, courteous, and attentive. They have a facebook page so you can check out promos, who's working, etc. The food menu is not lengthy, but is because what they have, they do well! THIS IS A SPORTS BAR...so...no music during Chicago sports games! But there is a jukebox any other time! They offer great deals during Blackhawk games like $1 chili and $2 cheeseburgers! YUMMY! I would say drink prices are comparable with most other places though they DO have different daily specials. State approved gambling machines are available if that is your thing. I would say to anyone new here to give it a try, and then post your own review! I am going with 4 stars! read more

Great place to watch a Blackhawks game! Great specials on beer and burgers during the game. A bit of a smaller place but tv's in every corner. When the weather is nice you can take your drinks to the patio outside. Always a bonus when the staff is pleasant. read more
