My car was leaking oil out of the valve cover gasket and when I went to COWBOYS AUTO REPAIR in a attempt to scam me they just told me that I needed a whole new engine it was gonna cost me 7,700 to fix my car n 8,200 for a new engine and they didn't even properly do a leak diagnostic check!!! I ended up going to some REAL MECHANICS where they properly diagnosed the leak found it was just the valve cover gasket repaired it and I'm back driving with no oil leaking out of my car whatsoever ! I DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE THEY ARE JUST MONEY HUNGRY AND WILL ALWAYS JUST FIND A WAY TO JUST TAKE MORE MONEY OUT OF YOUR POCKETS THEY DONT CARE FOR THERE CUSTOMERS STAY AWAY!!!

Had the transmission rebuilt and not only did Tony repair one wheel bearing but he repaired a 2nd one at no cost. He also threw in caliper bracket and pin kit at no cost. After driving out vehicle for about a week we noticed a noice coming from one of the wheels where the bearing was replaced. Took it back to Cowboys and after 3 hours of trying to pinpoint the problem Tony figured out the noise wasn't coming from the replaced bearing but rather from a part on the brake which had nothing to do with the work he had done. What did he charge us for the 3 hours of trying to figure out the problem?? Absolutely nothing! That's what I call great customer service and would highly recommend Cowboys Auto Repair!

The mechanic left our car key in the car, when we went to pick up our car to have it towed to the other mechanic the key was missing. My husband called and left a voicemail asking what they planned to do about the key, he never received a call back. After 2 days we received no call back. I called, was sent to voice mail and was more adamant about getting a call back. Chris returned my call and was very rude. He said it was not his problem that someone stole our key out of our car while on his property. He does not have a lockbox that is unavailable to the general public and no cameras on the property. Our car is unusable without the key and they do not seem to care about replacing it, that is negligent. Do not leave your car here, if someone steals your property while it is in their hands they will do nothing about it.

From the moment I arrived, Jonathan greeted me warmly and made me feel confident that my vehicle was in good hands. He and his team are not only knowledgeable but also friendly and hospitable. They worked on several major issues with my truck and took the time to explain every detail along the way. Here's a quick breakdown of what was done: He replaced the rear brakes, rotors, brake hoses, and calipers. I had initially requested a brake fluid flush and fill, and to have my rear brakes and rotors changed, but the rear brakes weren't purging fluid. J and his team quickly got to work troubleshooting, inspecting the brake hoses, and discovering that they were clogged and that the caliper was seized. He sourced the parts and fixed the issue, all while showing me everything step by step to ensure I understood the problem and knew he wasn't making it up or anything like that. (He literally showed it to me) He also flushed and filled the fluids in both the front/rear differentials/transfer case. The engine coolant was flushed and replaced, and he even changed the spark plugs, showing me the worn condition of the old ones. He checked all the hoses and clips to ensure nothing else needed to be replaced and changed the serpentine belt, which was long overdue. Jonathan also took extra time to address the growing rust issue underneath my truck, showing me how bad it was and explaining a plan of action we could take to treat it and prevent further corrosion in the future, should I opt to bring it back to him. (I'm definitely going to come back for this) I was especially impressed with how honest and upfront he was about every repair. He explained everything clearly, showed me the worn-out parts, and never once tried to upsell me or cut corners. His prices are incredibly fair, and the quality of work is top-notch. Overall, Jonathan and his team provided excellent service in a timely manner, and I really appreciated his dedication to getting my truck maintenance up to date and ensuring it's safe for the road. The fact that he accepts all forms of payment.... Debit Card/Credit Card/Cash/Zelle was just an added convenience. If you're looking for an honest, skilled, and friendly mechanic who goes above and beyond, I highly recommend Jonathan and his shop. Very knowledgeable, nice, and easy to talk to staff that made a crummy situation way better. Great documentation with excellent communication and a very fast turnaround to top it off. they stayed late and had it all done very quickly for something so short notice.
