I Got Lucky…read more Honestly, if I had only gone by these Yelp reviews, I probably never would have hired this company to transport my car from California to Florida. But after doing a lot of research outside of Yelp, I decided to move forward with Montway anyway. I was extremely nervous about the entire process. Right before my move, my car had actually been hit and was sitting in a collision center getting repaired before pickup. Because of the repair delays, I had to change my pickup date multiple times. Every time I changed the schedule, Montway adjusted everything professionally and worked with me without giving me a hard time, even though it meant changing the subcontracted transport company more than once. In the end, everything worked out perfectly. My vehicle arrived safely, in perfect condition, and exactly at the quoted flat rate of $1,339. That was the credit card price, not a cash price. Personally, I thought the rate was fair. I wasn't interested in trying to find someone willing to haul a vehicle cross-country for $600-$800 because, realistically, I don't see how a truck driver could make much profit at those numbers. After doing some rough calculations myself, I felt that somewhere between $1,200 and $1,400 for a cross-country shipment was reasonable in 2025. Montway handled the transport professionally from beginning to end, and their follow-up communication was excellent throughout the process. I would absolutely use them again in the future. PS: These were 2025 rates, so pricing may be different now. Vehicle transported: Kia EV crossover utility vehicle.
