I called Big D towing at 5:30 on a rainy Friday evening needing a tow. They gave a fair quote and said they could have a truck to us in about 30-45 minutes. Not but about 12 minutes later Omar shows up, and is ready to get us hooked up and back to the repair shop. He was great, went to work right away, hooking our van up, towed and dropped our van all in just over 1 hour time frame (including the 30 minute drive in rush hour traffic) This experience could not have been better for the situation we were in. This company has towed my trucks a few times.recently my breaks went out in a international 4700 towtruck a13,500 # truck 31 ft long They sent a driver out to new castle in a big tow truck and the driver spent extra time, in the pooring down month of may rain, hooked it up safley and got me home once again after a having a bad day and losing my breaks.this is the second time this company has saved my arse, been tottaly cool and for a fair deal.from my call at 3pm, till they came out not long after.. I just had the worst experience here. I parked in a business spot and my car was towed when I came out... I was 1 spot off my bad. I called the towing place knowing it was going to be around $100. When I got on the phone the guy was RUDE... And told me it was gonna be $406 to get my car back... This is within 1 hour of it being towed. He proceeded to be rude to me the rest of the conversation, as if I was wasting his time. I have never written a negative review in my life... So believe me... This place is bad! read more

Emily was the staff member I talked to you on the phone, and she was very courteous and also very honest about their timeframe that they had, having just gotten a few calls in a row and that it would be more than an hour before they could come and get me. When she heard that that did not quite fit my timeframe, she encouraged me to keep looking around and just give her a call back if I contracted with somebody else. My car broke down on a Friday night, parked in a spot slated for construction work early the next morning: I had to get the car out by 5:00 a.m. on Saturday. I called many other Yelp top-reviewed tow companies but none responded. At Big D, a live person picked up at 10:00 p.m. on Friday. I explained my situation. The dispatcher kept me on the phone while he communicated with the driver, and the dispatcher gave me a timeframe for the tow, as well as an accurate price estimate. Everything was straight forward and easy. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because the price was a little on the high side--I was in a bind and they did exactly what they promised for the price they quoted. I used this company over a year ago, I paid them for their services and we were square.... for some reason they decided to take money out of my account a year later without my knowledge or authorization... saying their was something wrong with their "merchant system." Big D towing is literally a lifesaver. I was stuck at Seattle at SPU because unfortunately, I drove without defrosting my windows and sadly smacked into a cement light post because I couldn't see it because my windows were frosted over. It was about 2-3 am when this all happened. My left passenger tire burst when I tried driving away after cutting and ripping off all damaged parts that I could. SPU security was on my ass because obviously, they don't want a crashed damaged vehicle in their guest parking lot. I tried putting on a spare wheel myself; unfortunately, when trying to move my wheels I left my car in first gear, and I stalled it. It lurched off the jack and had and smacked onto the ground without a wheel, so literally, my car was hugging the parking lot. I cut my losses and accepted defeat and desperately called Big D towing for help. The dispatcher was a little bit annoyed because I was calling at 3-4 am (don't blame you I would be a little angry too at that time in the morning). Thankfully my tow truck driver found me after about 20-25 mins, was very respectful and knowledgeable, and got my car off the ground without damaging it any further. He drove my car all the way from Seattle to my home In Mukilteo when he had a state patrol inspection at 9 am. This commute happened at 5 am. Very very kind driver and respectful of my situation. Sadly I cannot remember his name, but I am hoping he will read this because he definitely earned my respect and gratitude. Keep doing what you're doin' and best of luck with helping other people out. Cannot say how much of a life-saver Toby was for me. I was stuck on an extremely cold night at the grocery store and my keys were locked in my car. The original towing company that AAA called were taking a long time to get there.
