Big Dave's has some great cheesesteaks! The menu is short and sweet. Seeing that, it's good to know that Dave's approach is to be his at one thing - cheesesteaks. I originally visited the Doraville location a few yrs ago (next to the Super H Mart) before they closed. Not being impressed then, I'd checked Dave's off my list. But a good friend changed my mind - SO glad they did! I tried the Truffle cheesesteak - ordering as it came, with no modifications. Between the truffle mayo and the cheese, I couldn't ask for more. And while I typically like peppers and shrooms on mine, this one needed nothing else. The BIG notable is that the meat is not dry at all, which a lot of places get wrong. It's a 45 minute drive for me. So I can't say that I can visit as much as I would like. But 3 visits later, it's safe to say that I'm a fan! The setting has small tables and chairs, maybe to accommodate 15 to 20 people. It is not the cleanest establishment so that could use a bit more attention. But the staff are super friendly and get you when you walk in. read more

Seasoned, crispy on the outside & tender on the inside. I don't know how they did it, but the onion never slid out of the crust. That was my favorite part. So every bite was crispy perfection. Cheesesteak here was amazing. It was cheesy and not dry at all. I got the Truffle Cheesesteak and curb chips. Which are their own chips fried and seasoned with Dave's seasoning. Everything came out so hot and fresh. Everything was explained well cause we didn't know what the curb chips were. It's nice to see employees having a good time at their job and having a good attitude. We ordered a "Dave's Way" 6" cheesesteak with all 3 cheeses, mushrooms, onions, peppers and One regular cheesesteak with American cheese. We got combos for each which add the new "Crib Fries" I love it when places actually cook their fries to crispy. The cheesesteaks are the second best that we have found around Atlanta and our favorite is actually out hwy 212 in Newton co.. It is loud in here but it's also entertaining. Just wanted to write a review about my experience, the reason I gave them four stars was because it is indeed a nice big fat stuffed with meat cheesesteak, I like the crinkle cut fries, they even have the tractor brand real sugar drinks which is pretty cool, for me personally, subjectively, even though I gave them four stars, I did not like the cheesesteak, it was greasy, it was over flavored with some type of spice powder that they're using that I just did not like the taste of, to be picky I did order lettuce and tomato on mine to make it hoagie style which I guess they forgot, something that did bother me is that it took way too long to receive the food and I was on limited time lunch break so... also I'll have to say after talking with another customer who said it first, they're a little bit too pricey, after getting the 9 inch cheesesteak with some fries and a soft drink it came to around $22. but I'm not trying to focus on any of the negatives, if you're looking for a big fat cheesesteak you might love their big fat cheesesteak, I just didn't happen to like it , I liked the cheesesteak I got at the mall of Georgia the other day called Charlie's cheesesteak but I only gave that a three stare, like I said the reason I gave these people four stars was because of how big and fat it was which is what I wanted but I just didn't like the taste , but you might love it . read more

My guy and I drive from Birmingham just to eat here! Is this a big back move? Yes. Is it worth it? Everytime. Its a little pricey, but well worth the price for the amount of meat on the sandwich. LeLe the manager on duty went above and beyond to make sure me and my family was taken care of in a timely manner and she brought the good energy! Seeing that cheesesteak and egg roll I was ready to dig in. That cheesesteak looked crazy and fat. This was my first time so I had to get the Dave's way beef cheesesteak and salmon egg roll. It was meaty and cheesy. It was glorious. But after a few bites it felt so heavy and one note. I didn't know to add toppings or not because I felt his way was intended to be the way it comes and the best it had to offer. Maybe that's my fault. The salmon egg roll was kind of pricey for what you're getting. It was a lot of cheese and a small piece of salmon. It was fried to perfection. Hot in the middle and nice and crispy on the outside. Service is great, the team was having a great time and the person who took our order was friendly. I used to frequent the original location in the gas station a few years back. I was excited that there is a location close to my rental property. For one, I was pretty salty when I realized they changed the menu and don't serve wings anymore ( The Mardi Gras wings were the best I ever had!) and the cheesesteak was just mid. No flavor but the bread was good and soft. It tastes nothing like I remember and I am not going to bother going back. I'm super sad though... because I absolutely LOVED it. read more

For years, I have enjoyed Big Dave's signature cheesesteak and recently tried his beef egg rolls. They were delicious and wanted to give this location a try. Please be aware this location HAS LIMITED parking. The lot is extremely small and it doesn't take long for it to fill up. I parked in the business adjacent to the restaurant. I would also order my food in advance using the app or online ordering option. Failure to doing so, can cause your wait time to be longer than expected. This spot like many of the other locations is a take out joint. The added exception is the outside patio that gives customers the option to eat their food outside. This comes in handy on a day when the weather is nice. The quality of the food was great and their salmon egg rolls are amazing. I like that the app gives me an option of what time to pick up my food. That way there's an unlikely chance your food will be cold. One last thing please check your order when they give it to you. My order was missing my bottled water that I paid for & I had to go back and get it. Staff was helpful but I had to make sure I double checked my order. My tip is to either order in advance so that your wait time is short. I deducted a star because of the limited parking situation. read more
