Do you like Loaded Baked Potatoes? I know I do. I have been passing this place for awhile. Yesterday I felt I needed something to comfort my soul. Sleepy Potato here I come. Location is on Cleveland Ave. next to Chevron . If you not paying attention you will miss it. Other landmarks in the area ( near Interstate 75,- Kroger City center. Walmart, Storage place across the street. ) I walk in.. no dining inside.. as all the chairs were turned upside down on the tables. There is a large plexiglass.. behind there.. is where the magic and goodness happens. I saw the lady making a potato I was like Wow.. it's really loaded with toppings. They had many options for your potato experience. Build your own .. or get one of the specialty pototoes.. The toppings were a great selection to choose from like steak, chicken , crab, shrimp. Bacon Veggies: onion, spinach, bell peppers, broccoli, tomato. Of course cheese. I contemplated which potato to get.. I opted for the Veggie without spinach add bacon. ( I asked about sour cream. The gentleman said it comes on the potato.. but I didn't see it. The potato was good and work the $19. It was large and stuffed with toppings. Potato was cooked to perfection. I ate half when I got home.. the other half a little later. Delicious. They didn't skimp on the toppings AT ALL. Only thing there was a few spots that were a little salty.. but over all good and I will be back. For $4.95 more you could add wings and a drink. Who needs wings when you got this loaded potato. But that's a option. And they have a full menu loaded with wings, Philly style sandwiches, appetizers, salads. Fries.. even chili cheese fries!!!! You can call your order in or use food delivery service. Not sure which they use. I did see people coming to pick up orders. I sat and waited for my order. They do have a sign stating food may take up to 30 minutes for preparation. I appreciate signage like that. I will wait for good food.. and GOOD IT WAS!!!! Sleepy Potato.. you get a from me. DO NOT GO HERE! I repeat, DO NOT GO HERE! I have NEVER had such a horrible experience at a restaurant! I visited Sleepy Potato for the 2nd time and will NEVER return! After ordering my food I observed a man, who I later learned was the co-owner, in the grill area with a outdoor coat on and no gloves stick his bare hand into some food, grabbed some out and placed it into his mouth!! It was absolutely disgusting!!! When I told him I wanted to cancel my order and get a refund he became extremely rude to me.  After I expressed my dissatisfaction with his explanation of who he was and what he could do he still did not change his attitude.  At one point he talked about my personal life and after learning my name (to provide my refund) called me a minion and made other rude comments.  There was however one female associate that stepped in to assist. She was understanding and apologized,  however she did mention to the man that she has told him about doing that. Now to me that means this isn't his first time and definitely will not be his last.  Though I paid with a card she could not figure out how to refund the card she gave me a cash refund; however, the damage was already done! I plan to report his egregious and unsanitary behavior to the health department and will never return! I strongly urge you not to eat here! read more

If I could give zero stars that's what I'd give. I ordered through UberEats. I ordered the seafood potato combo which should've had crabmeat, shrimp, and sausage. This potato had salmon and sausage. There was no sour cream. It was dry and old looking and the taste wasn't any better. The wings were dried out. For a first impression, this order failed terribly. It was a waste of money all around. It's tucked into a strip plaza with a gas station and laundromat, so parking is limited, but don't let the location stop you from visiting this spot! It was my first time trying it and it was SOOOOO good! I had a Chicken Philly Cheesesteak Potato. I was full and it was flavorful! It only needed salt and pepper. The wait wasnt long and they are masked and gloved throughout. I like that you can see them preparing and cooking your food. The few people who were here we're beyond frustrated! The cook was moving slower than a turtle but I see it was "bring your kids to work day!" I go to this place often and to be so disrespected was upsetting. I ordered a salmon potato added shrimp and spinach among other things. I waited for 30 minutes which is usual, I got home and I was missing the spinach and it only had white cheese on it. I looked at my menu and it does not specify it just says cheese but I order the same thing every time I go and NEVER just got white cheese. I went back up there which is a 30 minute ride and spoke to the cashier who was wonderful but the gentleman who was cooking was rude, disrespectful, refused to listen, talked over me and refused to fix a new potato nor refund my money. I paid $26.60 for the potato. After going back and forth with him he decided to give me my money back to get me out his face. I feel for as much as the food cost, the service should be better. I ordered my team lunch from here. Easy to order online. My assistant said the Pick up was also smooth. The potatoes are huge! If you're not super hungry you'll get two meals out of it. I personally love baked potatoes so I'm glad that this is new to the area. A little more pricey than some other potato spots that I know. They have Philly cheesesteak Eggrolls that are $10 for the entree (three eggrolls) but if you buy a large or medium drink, you can get them for $1.50 ea with 2 minimum. Kind of on the steep side in my opinion... especially since the drinks options only consist of a sprite, coke, brisk tea and kool Aid and they aren't bottled, rather poured into the appropriate cup size. About the food.. on my first visit, I ordered the base potato (butter, cheese, chives and sour cream). It was done in about 7 min and it was pretty damn big. Came back two days later to try their $5 chicken and broccoli potato special (with large drink) that essentially comes out to about $8.95. I also ordered another base potato and 6 wings. The wings weren't the best but not bad. However, tthat chicken and broccoli potato was flavored PERFECTLY! I'm upset that I didn't buy it for myself! I didn't see where there was too much broccoli, but the potato was excellent. I will be back to try more of their potatoes... I would just say that the prices here could be better. The worst customer service of my life. I have came to this establishment 2 times in less then 1 week. The first time they were closed by 7 when it's states they close at 9. The second time is at this moment. It states they close at 10pm and I am typing this at 8:50pm. I arrive the lights are off and the trash bags are at the front of the the door.
