This place has been here forever and it's never let me down. It's a pretty basic joint with burgers, dogs, grilled cheese and fried pies. The have a "Buzz Special" and it's one chilli dog, fries and a drink for $8, you really can't beat it. It reminds me of an old school drive in without the car parking area. We were greeted promptly with a smile and all the staff is super nice. You need to come hungry so you can get a chili dog special and a fried pie! Maybe the best Chili Cheese Dog in the Atlanta area! The place always has a crowd and the line moves quickly and the food arrives within a reasonable amount of time. The chili cheese dogs are perfect with the right amount of toppings. Peach and apple fries are delicious. No the two of us did not eat four for lunch. We bought extra to take home and freeze. This is by far the best burger you can get in town! It was juicy, not at all greasy. It was flavorful and a nice size patty for the price. I've also been here for the hot dogs, which are really good as well. The onion rings are good as well, but can be a little greasy. These were some really good hot dogs. I've been reading the Yelp reviews and said I would try them while in the area next time. My mom and I were over here and decided to swing by. The restaurant was clean, decorated very colorfully, and the service was good. The chili wasn't the greatest so I'm glad I had one hot dog with that. I liked the hotdogs. The prices are reasonable. I paid $9 roughly for a combo after paying 0.40 for toppings. I really liked the toasted buns too. The peach pie was okay (2/5) but a tad greasy. I'll be back when in the area. read more

I do not know what they are putting in these hot dogs and chili, but they are super good, filling, and very affordable! Who knew a basic hot dog could taste this good! The food is so good it has to be drugs, Lolol! I went back a second day just to make sure it wasn't a fluke...and the food had the same consistent taste! Warm toasted bun, fresh cut onions. The chili appeared to be home made. It wasn't overly salty, no unnecessary wild ingredients (like sugar, spice, or heat) this stuff was just genuinely delicious! I'm not sure of their affiliation of Georgia Tech, maybe they just some crazy fans or warm hearted alumni, Lolol! But the place reminds you a Good Friday night hang out spot after the football game. Unfortunately they close at 5pm daily and close Sunday and Monday. Hands down the best hot dogs I've ever eaten. On day 2 I tried the peach pie. Literally a homemade pie with warm peach stuffed in it. They have peach and apple, so you might as well get both and eat it while it hot or warm up, lol! Long story short, I will be back. Overall, okay hot dogs but nothing to write home about. Inside is reminiscent of a cafeteria, and the front staff were nice and helpful. We ordered a couple of hot dogs with a side of fries and coleslaw. The coleslaw has a strange texture, like it has been through an industrial strength food processor. Fries were kind of bland and needed some salt added before being served. Hot dogs were good, but for the price, you can very easily get the same product with the same quality for much cheaper at QuikTrip down the road. Hours here are very restrictive for a restaurant closing at 5 pm each day and being closed Saturday through Monday. Don't think we'll be back, and probably wouldn't recommend anyone to go out of their way to try them out. read more

I was full after eating the fries and chilli slaw dog. Fries were hot and so was the hot dog, lol. I like slaw but the slaw was lacking season/flavor and crunch. I ate the chilli cheese dog, 2 days later and it was awesome. Well, my wife beat to the fried peach pie, so I will have to return to Yellow Jacket just for the pie because the Mrs enjoyed the pie.
