We called a place nearby that quoted us $190 for a 1hr couple massage. We debated it for a bit before I finally landed here instead. = MASSAGE & PRICE = We did the couples massage which ended up being $90 PP! It was such a great package and included: + 1 hour body massage + 1 hour foot massage It was quite amazing and the lady who worked on me didn't speak English as well but understood when I told her to go softer. My bf on the other hand has a lovely woman who knew English and checked up on him multiple times. After the body massage was done, we were told that we were done. Which made me and the bf think that they forgot about the rest of the package (which was fine since we were relaxed enough!). But, then they led us to another room and we got our foot massage there. = AMBIANCE = The place itself is located in a great area with lots to and and see. When you're outside it may not look like much BUT it's so nice inside- the perfect place to let go and just relax. We ended up tipping $30 to each woman and if I'm ever in the area I'll be back !!

I went to Awesome Foot Lounge and Spa as hopes to alleviate my problems but I wasn't expecting anything great. Then, Warren came to the rescue. He addressed the need to change my lifestyle and I liked that he spent pretty much most of the time working on my problem areas. He used just the right pressure to target the right areas. I felt like it was a VERY good use of time and money to get treated by him. In fact, I am willing to come back next week to further improve my body and also enroll in some regular maintenance so that I stay in tip top condition. What should have left me feeling better after a one hour session, left me feeling nothing but "need" for a better massage after. --- early bird special here is a really sweet deal ($39 before 3pm). I felt like the rooms are perfectly fine. I can see why some people think it resembles a hospital room, but I was perfectly fine with it and the songs they played downstairs. I like how the noise level was kept to a minimal and there's the option of a room on the second floor where you can have your massage in the same room with a friend. However, I prefer downstairs over upstairs. It's a lot less quiet upstairs. My masseuse Tracy wasn't too good....in the sense that I hardly felt anything after the massage. However, I wouldn't mind trying a different masseur/ masseuse next time. Luna's not bad as a masseuse. Favourite so far would be Kelly :) (non RMT) And New favourite, but he's an RMT.... Pricier, but well worth it if you're covered :) Phillip's the name. I was 10 minutes late but he was very chill about everything and gave me my full hour of massage therapy. My shoulders feel so much better/ relaxed now. You definitely feel an obvious difference. He also explained a lot of stuff in Chinese to me and showed me some stretches to improve my problem areas. He speaks English rather well, I just prefer using Chinese. On a side note, they have 3 registered RMT's here that work from Monday to Sunday with different availabilities. I suggest you call in to make an appointment beforehand :) I think this place deserves 4.5 stars :)

In fact, it was one of the best we've had. The pressure was exactly what we were looking for (we like "it hurts so good" pressure), and the price was incredibly reasonable. I have had many foot massages in my past but never at this place. I phoned and booked an appt. for 3pm - they quoted me $58 for 50 minutes for foot reflexology - good price. As I walked there, I live close by, I realized I was 15 minutes early 2:45--and that was when I was half a block away I saw my watch---they took me in set me up in the back area. It had a slight funky smell I couldn't quite place but comfortable recliner vinyl chairs with nice, dark lighting. They brought me black tea which I don't drink -- I said I'd do Green tea though? No, they don't have that and then they brought me water--water is good. I tell you all this because time is ticking by... I took off shoes and socks they brought foot bath as per norm had me turn around and move to the ottoman and the woman started to rub my shoulders--it was nice but I was there for my feet. Places often do this though to start as a complimentary service as your feet soak. That done, I moved back to the chair while she took the tub away I looked at my watch and it was 2:58 pm. She returned and thankfully moved onto my foot reflexology--it was a nice massage but not the best -- wasn't bad, kinda' just ok, but the woman was nice and friendly. Then very quickly it was over she got a hot towel to clean the oil off my feet and I looked at my watch and it was 3:34pm---whaaa? This was supposed to be a 50 minute massage for $58. So I said that it was not long enough--the very nice masseuse said 'oh the shoulder rub was part of it and the foot soak.' I noted I did not ask for a shoulder rub--I wanted a foot massage--she then had to talk with 'her boss' who proceeded to arrive and argue with me ruining any relaxation I had previously achieved saying basically -- 'too bad that was what they did there'. Now if I had wanted a combination massage I would have booked a combination massage, they have that available too for purchase---I wanted simply a 50 min foot massage--but now I just wanted to leave! What they should have done is just add another minimum 10 minutes as it was pretty obviously a lean service. I had said what time it was when the foot massage begun--not to mention what time I had actually arrived thru the front door---so it should have at least gone on for another 13 minutes. I had had enough arguing I put my shoes on as the 'boss' angily left the back area. I still gave my masseuse a $10 cash tip--was not her fault for the nastiness of her boss and their ridiculous policy. The nasty 'boss' was conveniently on the phone when I went up to pay. So I paid $60.90 (+$10 tip) for a nice but not great 36 minute foot massage--with a side helping of stress afterwards from the mean, non customer service friendly 'boss'. I wish I had asked if she was the owner? I write this to let others know what they may experience, and be forewarned of their practises as well as if this 'boss' does not own the establishment - the one who does own it knows what is actually going on there. I was the only customer there for the duration---which now makes a lot of sense.
