I challenge you to find a local business with as much heart as this one. I stopped in today because of their sign advertising Pride gear. I had not idea what to expect. I wasn't even sure it was a place for public, maybe just volume orders for companies? Nope. Adorable interior, neat, every kind of product you can think of. I'm a bit of a geek for St. Pete history, they have notebooks, gifts, all kinds of vintage stuff. All of this pales in comparison to the staff. Every single person (including the dog) was welcoming, funny, and did everything possible to provide a great experience. The first shirt they made ended up not being quite right, the design wouldn't stick. Terry wouldn't let me pay for it and insisted on making another. The second one turned out fantastic. I ended up being around at close of business and got to share a beer with the staff. Where else ANYWHERE does a business welcome you to actually get to know them and appreciate what they do? The dynamic here is amazing. They want you to be happy, and they care that you're there. They know their stuff and make everyone feel at ease. If I haven't hyped this enough, just go. Extremely unprofessional service in all areas. The rude owner, Carrie had said my items would be finished 3-5 business days. They never called or updated me after over two weeks of waiting. I called and spoke to a woman named Angie who didnt know what she was talking about at all. She seemed lost everything she was saying was the opposite to what Carrie had said to me. Angie put me on hold and went to the embroidery dept. They said the items had never got checked in so it was never done. SOOOO unprofessional. Then I waited another week for them to contact me but no one ever did. I called back and spoke to Angie again, who had a NASTY attitude and asked when my items would be done. She put me on the phone with Carrie and I spoke with her for 30 minutes. She was awful, unpleasant and dreadful to talk to. At that point I didn't want the service at all. I would never recommend anyone here but instead go to the print shop down the street, Big T Printing. The service was a million times better, they had my order done so that quickly and efficiently. Big Fish is a nightmare to work with! Save your money and time. read more

Our company was looking to get about 500 shirts printed. As a local business owner myself, I believe in supporting my local St Pete/Tampa Bay businesses as well. When I walked into Big Fish Co, I was "greeted" by a woman who later gave me her business card named Carrie Renner. RUDE RUDE RUDE. From the moment I walked in the door, she acted as if I was interrupting her. Its not like I was asking her to solve quadratic equations. I asked her "What styles do you carry?" Her response "What do you mean?" Me: "Can you show me some styles?" Her response: "look by that blue one" Me: "What is the turn around time?" Her response: "It depends on what you want" I went to show her what I wanted, and she replies "I dont need to see anything. Just tell me if you want colors. Price is based on colors. And if you want a colored shirt, it costs more" I'm going to order 500 shirts, I think I'm aware of costs. Carrie was rude, condescending, and has absolutely NO customer service! Good news travels slowly, and bad news travels like wild fire! I completely believe in shopping local, and supporting our local businesses. And I absolutely will - to any other local vendor. I will never step foot in your establishment again, and I will be advise anyone else to save the drive, and skip this place as well. read more

I took towels in for monograming. When done the initials were visibly off center. The owner agreed and said we will give you 2 monograms for free. What about paying for new towels???? I purchased new towels and took them in and the staff made me center the template which I have no experience doing! They acted like I was at fault! The monogrammer disagreed the initials were off center. When I folded the towel in half visibly 2 initials were on one side and 1 initial on the other. The staff said "just fold the towels in half". Even in that position the initials were way off center. They had already done the hand towels correctly so I had to stick with it to get the bath towels done. Thankfully a part timer there came to the front and helped me place the template. I will never use Big Fish again! Very unsatisfied!!!!! read more
