We sort of got the feeling this is more of a locals spot. It is really nice on the inside, and I could see us stopping in again while back in town. The bar tender was really nice. They were whooping it up and having a good time. This is not a place where you worry about talking too loudly. You have to talk loud or else your companion won't hear YOU. Yup, this is our kind of place. Lots of different brands and kinds of beer, both bottles and draft. We opted to eat at the bar. The menu is full featured - with all the deep fried goodies you can handle. I wouldn't want to eat here every day, but ya know, once in a while a good old fashioned grease-fest tastes damned good. Once in a while won't kill you. It tastes SO good going down, especially if you wash down each bite with some ice cold beer.
