The ambience for this location is nice , comfortable, and inviting. It's a great place to relax and enjoy a football game or whatever sports that you enjoy. The severs are friendly, and very hospitable. They really make you feel welcome. For the food, I tried the broasted chicken. It was very tasty, moist, and completely enjoyable. This's our first time eating at the restaurant. It's a seat yourself restaurant and the waitress came to our table a short time later. We ordered our beverage and food. My wife ordered the prime rib sandwich and I ordered the smoked brisket sandwich. Both of our sandwiches were delicious, the onions and mushrooms were cooked well. We have eating here many times as the food and value is a little bit better than Gordy's. We normally sit in the entrance area and always had great service. On Dec 19 the entrance area was full so we sat down in the back section for lunch. We had a waitress which we don't recall having her before. Initially everything was good when she took our order and brought it to us. After that she never came by to check on us (kept talking to customers several tables over for extended periods of time). My wife had to get a doggy bag then pay without a check. I guess we could have flagged her down if we were in a rush. This experience did not sit well with us. In the future if we get her again we will ask for another waitress. Otherwise we would have given a 5 star review. read more

Came in for our first sit down meal since the stay at home orders. They did a good job spacing tables. All employees wore masks, although some were slipping down. Not a concern for me personally Started with a couple bloody Mary's. They were good. Not great but they hit the spot. Wife had a grilled ham and cheese sandwich and described it as Awesome. This was a fantastic place to stop! Came in shortly after opening for a quick brunch - the nice calm atmosphere mixed with the waitresses friendly attitude pretty much had me sold before I even ate. Drinks (coffee for me and a Guinness for my husband) showed up super quickly, and always with a smile. Good priority was kept among tables as the place started to fill up. At one point when there was only one waitress, the cook noticed she was busy and went ahead and took out some freshly ready meals without hesitation! It was great to see teamwork in a fast paced environment. Gunsmoke was playing on the TV behind the bar!!! Definitely fits the Station style, and we loved it. The waitress knew a lot of folks names, as well. It was nice to see how friendly they all were. Not to mention, the food. We had the Sports Starter, with tasters of multiple apps. Their zucchini fries and Wickiup potatoes (a ball of mashed potatoes with jalapeño and nacho style cheese mixed in and deep fried) were amazing! As were the jalapeño poppers. My husband got the Kicker burger, and it ACTUALLY packed a punch! It was spicy and still tasteful. Unlike a lot of chain 'spicy' burgers. I had a chicken Caesar salad. Portion was a tiny bit small for a whole meal, but the chicken wasn't the frozen pre-cut strips, it was fresh and obviously hand cut. The dressing was amazing, and tasted homemade!! I want to love this place, but their inconvenience by customers curbs that. Food is great, enjoyed it once, tried to go back many other times with no success. Tried doing takeout many times, called repeatedly and no answers or busy phone. Tried eating in and were turned away because we had children and they didn't allow minors to sit outside with us even though sign posted said minors were allowed. Then actually reached someone on the phone today and tried to order takeout and she said they weren't doing takeout, then I started to ask if minors were allowed to eat inside still and she hung up before I could even ask the question. Stopped in at Wickiup Station yesterday. Waitress took our drink order and returned shortly. My wife hadn't decided what she wanted and waitress said she return. Last we saw of her. Two other tables were taken, one by 4 people the other by six about 10 minutes later. Both were were served drinks and orders taken. When I tried to get the waitress' attention she said to wait and walked off, never to return apparently. Don't know if shabby treatment was because there was only two of us or some other reason. I got up and went to the bar to pay for drinks and had to wait for one of the servers to access the register. Apparently she didn't know the price of coffee and diet coke. Show up at 10:50 to get breakfast on Sunday morning. Breakfast is supposed to end at 11:30. "Sorry breakfast is done for day" So breakfast ends whenever the cook decides he is done. We decide to stay for Lunch. Well we have to wait for the cook to finish breakfast orders before we can start lunch. 11:35, the cook is not quite ready, but I ll take your order. The cook needs to figured it out. Makes us not want to even try and come here for breakfast anymore. In general the food is good and people are nice.
