I had contacted a couple different companies looking for a drain and clean service and I was turned down by some due to having a fiberglass pool. I was told they typically don't drain fiberglass pools because of the higher risk of damages and thats where my fear of draining the pool was created. I was presented with other options like a water treatment but I know it was too far gone for that. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was able to easily communicate via text and Glen had answered all my questions and didn't make me feel nervous about draining the pool.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] He did inform me the risks-as with all drains, but also showed me previous fiberglass pools he had serviced. Needed our pool drained as the water had high PPM and figured we should acid wash it since it was going to be empty and the white plaster had a few stains. Called around to get a few quotes... Moore Pool's bid came in right around the industry average....I've read about the risks of draining a pool, so definitely not the time to go with the lowest bidder anyway. After our initial phone call, and the fact they had a 5 star review on here, I was convinced Moore Pools and Spas were my people! Their communication is amazing, answering all calls and texts practically immediately. They showed up exactly when they said they were going to for the drain, the acid wash, and the chemical balance of the new water, which occur across multiple days. They helped me find new filters at a HUGE discount, and noticed my pool solar system needed repair gave me a recommendation to someone who specializes in solar. My only complaint is that they cannot, due to the size of their family-run business, provide weekly pool service to my location in Henderson. I would hire them in a heartbeat to maintain my pool!!! So sad they cant make it all they way out here, but if you live in their service area I can not recommend the Moore family highly enough...trust them for your pool needs! read more
