I would leave 0 stars if I could. My movers were scheduled to arrive between 9-10 am. They still…read morehadn't shown up by 11, so I called and talked to the owner. He said he'd find out what was going on, and call me back in 5 minutes. He called back about an hour later, and said they were on the way. They finally showed up at 1:00. Three hours late! I'm supposed to turn my keys in to my apartment by 5, so this is already bad. They said the owner never even told them they were supposed to be there between 9-10. They show up with a small U-Haul truck! I already knew everything wasnt going to fit, but they're determined to try. I was busy doing things myself, and I didn't think they'd need to be supervised, but they were trying to get everything done so fast that they constantly dropped boxes, dropped whole loads off of the dollys, and shoved everything in the truck no matter which way they had to stuff it in. Needless to say, they damaged stuff while doing this, and still couldn't fit it all in! Then they just left for the new house leaving all of my remaining property sitting outside of my apartment! Not only that, they left it all blocking the staircase that 2 other apartments use! During all of this, the boss showed up to help. Never introduced himself as the owner, didn't apologize for the situation, and copped an attitude when I told him how terrible this whole situation was! We got to the new house, and the movers apparently got lost, so it took them over an hour on a 20 minute drive. When I called to inquire about where they were, the owner said, "Well, they've been working hard, and probably stopped to eat. They're human too." What kind of answer is that?! I'm not paying by the hour for them to stop and eat! I hadn't even eaten myself all day because of this situation! Regardless, they got lost, and the owner didn't have a clue what he was talking about. They unloaded everything, and couldn't even put most of the stuff in the right place. It ended up taking 8 hours total to move a 2-bedroom apartment with 4 guys working! The owner said he gave me $100 off, but the total still came out to 8 hours of work. Now, the owner is completely ignoring me about damages. He's extremely unprofessional, hardly ever answers the phone, takes hours or days to call you back, no apologies or regrets at all. I've moved dozens of times in my life, and this was, by far, the worst move ever. Avoid this business like the plague!

This is the only moving company you should consider!. I would highly recommend Pro Dependable…read moremoving. I have moved many (10+) times and they have been by far the best moving company I've worked with. They were fast and efficient but also careful. You can't beat the price either. The men were very friendly and respectful. I will be using them again.

Really wish I could rate them a zero. Got three movers. Nice guys and they worked well. One word of…read moreadvice - don't let them talk you into moving boxes first. Move the heavy stuff first. Then you have other options if it has been 6 hours and you need to shut them down. We did not and it added hours to our move. My problem is the owner, Aaron. After the move, we had damages to our footboard, washing machine & mattress. The movers pointed out the footboard. The problems started with the mattress. When the damage was discovered, we had already paid and the movers were gone. My wife contacted him first and sent a picture of the damage. When I contacted him a week later, he denied her call or ever seeing a picture. He then went on to accuse us of rushing the movers and telling them not to wrap things. Problem is both the washer and mattress were wrapped. At which point he changed his line of attack to saying that the mattress was previously damaged. Not even remotely true. Mattress has been moved twice: once when delivered and again by Payday. I'm focusing on the mattress damage because it's a $3,000+ mattress. Aaron has yet to call me back as promised. This is beyond a lack of customer service. At this point, I consider it dishonest, immoral and unethical. Bad taste in my mouth does not begin to describe it. Do not use this company. If you must, make sure any issues are documented and/or resolved before you pay. Based on my experience, once Aaron has your money, you're on your own!

All the hype about a good guy, and good service made me choose Payday Moves. Even though during…read morethe set up prior to the move Aaron called me several times. Some times he acted like he never spoke to me, I chalked it up to being busy and getting into the holiday season. Let me be specific, I was clear what I had to move including a speciality item that Aaron agreed he has experience moving and quoted an oversized item price of $200. The day before the move 12/26, I became worried about the weather forecast and phoned Payday several times. Payday never returned my call- until one hour before the move on Sunday, Aaron tried to cancel the move due to the weather. I told him we had to go ahead, if he was canceling it was too late. Aaron said it was up to me, if I wanted to take the chance. He also assured me he could and has experience moving in the rain. Sure Payday moves says you three guys, one of them is Aaron- he had an attitude the whole time. He did not work the whole time like his men did. They were almost two hours late, they manhandled my oversized item, at one point having it on the ground trying to force it through a door- Aaron was directing his workers to do this, even though he was provided with the instructions and tools to safely move it. I had to ask them to stop touching this and ultimately, had to hire someone else to move it. Causing me more time and money-. Aaron promises he can and will dismantle and reassemble items, but they had no drill, and borrowed a screwdriver to disable and reassemble a bed frame. They did not assemble the frame properly, I found a pile of screws not used, luckily before the frame fell apart. Granted it was a rainy windy day and they did move most of my stuff. The WORST offense and the reason Payday Moves is now not allowed to be on the property they moved me to is this, Aaron damaged the carport and downspout with his truck. He was witnessed doing it, he was confronted, he became immediately defensive and refused to communicate about it. Based on his horrible attitude, lack of actual work and refusal to even discuss the possibility that he damaged property Payday gets my worst recommendation. Don't use them, you are not getting three movers, they are late, Aaronis discourteous and belligerent when confronted with his own behavior. Rude and not recommended.
