My wife and daughter just got home from a road trip to D.C. I am not sure where BHC picked up Miguel, but he doesn't need to drive groups of people. He was rude to the kids. He made comments about "Japanese apologies" to an Asian American band director in the group. He tried to refuse to take extra people back to the hotel one evening. This was after one of the other drivers refused to pick up passengers because the driver only had 7.5 hours of downtime. He also made comments to the kids of how he would laugh if any of them flew through the windshield while getting up to use the restroom. I got to see video of him looking at his cellphone while he was rolling down the interstate with a bus full of high school students and parents. Everyone made it back despite Miguel's lack of professionalism. read more

I would leave a 0 but thats not an option. None of the tvs work, there is no wifi as they said there would be, and one of the buses lost everyone on that bus stuff. We had 4 buses, and we have to stop very hour for the bus driver to use the restroom. The AC makes a loud noise and it leaked every time it rained. There is mold in the window which was ignored. Worst experance I've had with a charter company. read more

It smells like shit. Our driver is swerving, the outlets have exposed wire, the ac does not work, and they are late to everything. We are still waiting for the bus to show back up and it's been an hour. I WILL be wanting a refund. read more

My band took a trip to Washington DC, and the service is horrible. First off one of the drivers were yelling at our well behaved kids telling them they need to go to military school. Also we were also waiting at the national monument for over an hour waiting for a bus to show up, so we had to crow the rest of the students on to the other buses making it extremely crowded. The buses were in the worst condition imaginable. A kid threw up on our bus because it was so hot in the back, but very cold I. The front. The windows leaked, and there is a very loud buzzing sound that randomly comes on. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY FOR YOUR OWN SANITY. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DONT BUY HERE read more

absolutely horrible. awful experience with the ac, so cold in the middle i was shaking and the people in the back got so hot one threw up. they have possibly lost one bus's luggage and have caused so much stress and anxiety for every student teacher and parent on our trip. thank you for degrading our expensive school trip that we were all looking forward to. read more

Big Hat Charters was a very big disappointment. We had them charter 2 buses to take us from Texas to Florida for a school trip. The driver for one bus was 3 hours late and had driven from Louisiana to get to our location and immediately drove us to Alabama where we switched drivers. Pretty sure he was out of DOT hours... which explains why he was swerving all over the road putting our kids in danger. (we found this out when we switched drivers) The bus did not have working USB ports, both buses were dirty and the T.V's did not work in one bus, the seats were very uncomfortable, little to no room for carry on luggage. We called the owner Bryan to get a refund for the bus that was in such poor condition and the lousy driver and he proceeded to curse and tell us to kiss his @$$. Unfortunately this company does not care about you or anyone else that they are responsible for but does care about your MONEY. I will never use this company again and will continue to let everyone know how unprofessional the owner is. read more

I highly recommend Newton's Big Hat Limousines. We used them to get a group of us to the Ranger game this past weekend. We started off with a smaller group when we initially made the plans with Big Hat. Our group kept growing and growing. We ended up changing our bus needs several times on them, right up until about 1 week before the event. They were able to meet our needs every single time, and they were very friendly in doing so. The day of the game, the bus was right on time, incredibly clean, and the perfect atmosphere for our outing. About the only thing they didn't do was help the Rangers win that day. Oh well, I guess some things are out of their control. Thanks to the Big Hat team from our entire group. read more

I requested limo serves and was told by the owner that he had a 2016 Chrysler available for that night and i said OK and put a 250 dollar deposite down, and was told i could pay the remaining balance when the driver arrived.The balance was taken out of my account a day early instead of when the driver arrived which was told to me.When i called and ask for a confirmation i was told ok and you will be recieving a lincoln limo.I immediately ask what happend to the 2016 Chrysler limo and was told in was out of service but we have a 2006 limo.I told the operator i did not pay for a 2006 limo and wanted my money back and was told i could not have my money back.Dishonesty is not good business practice, i would not recommend this business to anyone. read more

Second time to use their service. Very prompt, driver was professional, nice vehicle and overall a good time. However, vehicle broke down in Dallas towards the end of our time period. Company was willing to dispatch another vehicle to finish out the night but we elected to Uber home instead of wait the hour or two for the replacement vehicle to pick us up. No hard feelings, things happen. We did not hear from the company since, no apologies, no communication until I called to see if we could receive a little credit for the service (we were charge the full price). Owner offered to give us some credit on our next rental, said he lost money on our trip. I think the logic he used was 100% dead wrong, he said there was no way he'd offer any credit for our trip and he had to look out for his interest. I don't understand business owners that can't see the big picture, makes no sense to me. Very short sighted. Moral of the story, if your vehicle doesn't break down, should be a great time. read more
