This was a small quaint restaurant. We ordered our meal at the bar. I ordered biscuits and gravy, which were delicious! My husband got the Avocado Toast, which. We wish more avocado on it, but was good. My brother order the apple waffle, which he said was amazing! My sister-in-law had the biscuits and gravy and really enjoyed them. There are some items that seem fairly priced and others not so much. Biscuits and gravy seemed fairly priced but I ordered a breakfast sandwich (not memorable) that was about 15 bucks with a cup of coffee. Stick with the things that seem to be fairly priced. I can't believe I've been missing out on Big Jack's Cafe! I went there for a breakfast meeting and ended up staying so long that I also got lunch to go! The chipotle melt was perfect. I also enjoyed the peach tea. Our lunch order was the Hot Italian and a Southwest turkey sandwich. Both were outstanding. While servings are a good size, the sandwich wasn't overflowing with toppings. This allowed for neater eating and the ability to taste all the ingredients. All staff members were helpful and greeted us with smiles. Although business was constant and the place was full most of the time, the noise level was not bad at all. The place is very warm and inviting. I will definitely add this to my list of places to go for breakfast and lunch! read more
