    Black sesame matcha

Lovely calm space off Old Harrodsburg Road. Parking all around the lot, there's even some in the back The decor is super cute. Lots of lovely plants and very calming. There's a little couch and several smaller counters to sit at. Bonus - they have high chairs if you need one! Drinks and food are absolutely delicious. The black sesame matcha is a little sweet and delicious. The chicken satay wrap has a crunchy vegetables and comes with a savory peanut sauce that makes the flavor stand out (honestly so good that I forgot to take a picture).

This is a beautiful space with the best ambiance. I stopped in for an open table art night and enjoyed the experience very much! Since then, I keep coming back for the Turkey Gouda Jamwich! You can order it or pick it up from the grab and go fridge! They have a wonderful menu and if you like matcha, they offer a variety of matcha lattes with fun flavors! The service is wonderful and I always feel welcome!

This local gem has quickly become my go-to for cold brew, matcha, and fresh grab-and-go lunches. They have a beautiful setting with such welcoming vibes and the nicest people. I highly recommend trying the banana milk cold brew (so unique + delicious!). My first lunch item I tried was the turkey gouda jamwich (turkey, gouda, chipotle chili crisp mayo + raspberry jam + arugula = perfection). I'll definitely be back for this again. I can't wait to try more of the lunch options since they all look so fresh and delicious. Fun surprise: the cold brew is actually from Lexington-based 4th Level Roasters.

Previously attended a private food tasting by family owners & grand opening today. First off all, the owners & staff are wonderful people. I truly felt welcomed and cared for during both encounters. They are open to receiving feedback & really are committed to providing a wonderful food experience for all their patrons. The opening house was busy and lively! Great music & vibes overall. Food samples were delicious and my Honey Banana Brew was flavorful and unique. I ordered the Turkey Gouda sandwich (cold) to-go. My mouth is still tingling with excitement for how scrumptious the sandwich was! I'll definitely return and recommend others to support this great new spot!!

Zen crunch bowl, Black sesame matcha iced latte, and Eggplant sandwich

Really wonderful experience at the Floating Lotus Kitchen! The menu isn't expansive, though feels intentional and allows for each dish to standout. It was really hard to choose what to get. Fortunately they give a pick 2 option for sandwich, soup, and bowl. This is the zen crunch bowl and eggplant sandwich. The ingredients were fantastic in each! Also featured is a black sesame matcha iced latte (which is unique to me!). The service was 10/10 as well. Really personable, welcoming staff. I'll definitely be back and plan to tackle their whole menu before too long!

I just loved how he was so quick to jump in and tell us everything we needed to know while the others took our order and made the drinks. So efficient and a great way to showcase the menu! Inside was cozy and a great spot to set up to work. They had plenty of outlets near tables to plug in your laptop. Convenient location! Also have to note the matcha is not pre-sweetened which I prefer. I don't like syrups or sweetener in my matcha and too often coffee shops will use a pre sweetened drink mix. Which was really good by the way and my friend said her coffee was really good as well. They have a variety of snacks as well as bagels that are flown in from Queens, NY(which is where I'm born and raised). I did ask the girl at the counter and she told me she thought they were from Queens. She did confirm with someone named Nate. This is where it kind of goes sideways for me he was very dismissive about it when I told him I was born and raised in Queens. Both girls at the counter on the other hand were super friendly and helpful. Would I go back again? I would because I'm all for supporting small businesses especially when their coffee is that good. Would I care to speak with Nate again? Absolutely not.

We were greeted by the friendly cashier that took our order right away as there was no line. I got the orange marmalade chicken sandwich and my friend got the cheeseburger and fries. For people that think you can't succeed you can! And this place proves it over and over again. Much continued success to the staff and business !

We chose it for the convenient location and the resemblance to a NKY band by the same name. Don't let the counter-ordering process or cafeteria tray-paper plate service dissuade you. The food quality and quantity are on point and the prices are moderate. My husband rates the Southern Eggs Benedict among the best he's ever had. My Breakfast Plate scrambled eggs were soft and creamy and the large biscuit with honey butter was worth every carb and calorie. The coffee is excellent and we even splurged on their sweet-and-salty kitchen sink cookie. As if that isn't enough, DV8 Kitchen is a second chance employer for people in recovery and everyone we encountered was pleasant and hard-working. We wish them all success and we'll certainly be back.

A third member ordered the Crispy Chicken salad with honey mustard. Though the salad looked great, what was brought out was a drizzle of something that was not honey mustard and she had to order it on the side. I ordered the Spicy Chicken burger. It was really good but not spicy at all. But the most disappointing part of my meal were the mashed potatoes! I didn't think anybody could go wrong with mashed potatoes! But they were grainy and dry and looked straight out of a press. The staff was very friendly. The ambiance was great even if it got really loud once it started filling up.

Bella Cafe, from the service to the appetizer to the meal, was top top. The acorn quash was phenomenal and unique; the chicken, while slightly overdone for my taste, was crispy and flavorful; and the Brussels sprouts were some of the best I've ever had. The interior has the feeling of being a little cramped, but who cares? We ate outside on a beautiful day. To say I was pleasantly surprised by the place is an understatement. I strongly recommend.

It's not exactly in Lexington... it's more on the outskirts(in my opinion) but it hits extremely hard. They have many things on their menu but I wanted something simple. Breakfast sandwich. I added cheese and ordered an avocado for it too. I should've ordered an extra biscuit. It was light, filling, and equalized me in the most perfect way. My wife ordered the grain bowl and it was so much bigger than we thought it'd be. Plenty for leftovers. If I had any complaints, it'd be that it is a smaller place. Let me rephrase... not so much small but it is busy and cramped. They could easily expand to another location or larger location. We will definitely visit this place again. All the food was perfect!

It was a Japanese style omelette that was soft and runny in the middle. Not very appetizing if you were not expecting it. It was accompanied by half a big bag of balsamic salad greens . I'm not sure who actually enjoys this pairing. The hot honey chicken biscuit was nothing to talk about. It was also paired with the other half of the big bag of balsamic salad greens. Would not order again. It's a standard cafe with nothing that made it stand out to us. The prices seemed high for what we got. Places are hit or miss and unfortunately this place was a miss for us.
