Alex was very friendly and patient as he answered all our questions (noob alert - first time hiring pros for home reno work). Big League Painting was the best. We needed to paint a home we purchased essentially from top-to-bottom including wall and woodwork repairs due to damages left by the sellers. Big League Painting was not the lowest priced quote that we received, but I have no doubts we made the right decision going with them. Here is where Big League stood above the rest: 1) They provided free-of-charge access to a paint designer who walked through our home and helped us choose colors and textures. This designer was wonderful and made some fantastic recommendations. 2) Patrick is super-responsive to texts / calls and kept us informed throughout the project 3) The team worked long hours and over the weekends to get as much work done prior to our move-in date as possible. I was very lucky to have found big league. Brad came in person, reviewed every detail of exterior painting that needed to be done, including replacing versus repairing wood that was cracked or rotting. They gave me a very reasonable price. There team worked well together, clean, hard working. Brad would come inspect the work and make sure they did a perfect job. My house looked like it was brand new after. We are super happy with Big League Painting and Alex in particular. I think the best way to say it is Alex really cares. I had contacted multiple painting companies for quotes. Alex responded quickly and offered to come by to give me a quote. Some companies just take the room dimensions but Alex walked around and carefully looked at what might need multiple coats, what repairs/patching might be required. He even recorded a video of our conversation to make sure all points would be addressed. Within hours, we had a very competitive quote. He gave me some options to include or not include some things to keep within my budget. After a quick phone call, I signed and paid our 25% deposit the next morning. Big League has multiple teams and they sent out a team of 3 to paint our entire interior (ceiling, walls and trim) and exterior trim within two weeks. Each day the same team showed up on time, was very professional and cleaned up at the end of the day. Alex personally stopped by almost everyday of the project to make sure things were going to my satisfaction. As we had just moved into the neighborhood, Alex went above and beyond and offered recommendations of location businesses as he grew up in the area. We were so impressed that we decided to add some additional work to repair and stain our back deck. Again we got a competitively priced quote and 'at cost' for lumber. They team ended up replacing a lot of boards and staining our deck. Needless to say, the interior / exterior / staining project was large and took a little time to complete. Any small areas that I wanted touching up inside were addressed (subject to not raining). We are planning on using them in the near future once we do some construction work. read more

Because Big League Painting had done such a wonderful job when painting my exterior, I called them when deciding that my living room and kitchen were sorely in need of a paint job. They responded immediately to my request for an estimate, which was delivered speedily, and was very reasonable. When the job was scheduled, the crew arrived promptly & got to work preparing the room by covering exposed surfaces, then doing all the prep work to ensure a good finish. And when the job was done I was delighted! There were no more visible imperfections (i.e. cracks from the house settling). My living room and kitchen have never looked better! Nor has the landing ceiling & the upstairs hallway, which had cracks where the drywall sections had been joined. They were very careful with all my furnishings. Big League Painting turned out to be a real disappointment. I made appointments with three painting companies to get quotes on painting the entire interior of my home. The day that the estimator from Big League was meant to come out, he called and said he had COVID, so we rescheduled for the following week. The day that we rescheduled for, *I texted him* to see if he was well enough to come out for the estimate. He asked for another day, so we again rescheduled. (I had absolutely no problem rescheduling because of his illness. I could have gone ahead and booked one of the other companies, but didn't think it would be fair for hiss company to lose the opportunity because he was sick.) He came out and took measurements and I was impressed with all the questions that he asked that the other estimators hadn't. A week goes by, and I hadn't received the estimate. I sent him a text and asked him to send the estimate that day so I could go ahead with booking the job. He responded "...I apologize for not following up sooner..." and then I never heard from him again. I wasted at least a week in which I could have booked another painter and started the painting and worse: I got no explanation. If they didn't want the job, it would have been professional and respectful to let me know so I could move forward. read more
