This is a full-fledged supermarket with awesome prices which also offers closeout and deep discount items in other product categories. I live in Virginia now but every time I come back home to Ohio to visit family I stop at Marc's to stock up on items I can't get in Virginia. Troyer's Trail Bologna, Guggisberg Baby Swiss cheese, Hartville Kitchen salad dressings, Bertman Ball Park Mustard, Bell-View Sweet Onion and Beer mustards, Snyders chips and pretzels, Faygo sodas, Streb's Pan Pudding and more. I usually make it back home to Ohio once a year so every time I buy enough of these and a few other items I enjoy to last me for a year or so. Besides grocery items I take the opportunity to purchase discounted Cleveland Indians, Cavaliers and Browns gear along with Ohio State branded items. They always have amazing prices on these items. Marc's is located in the very busy Edison Park Center. The shopping center parking lot is large but can get pretty congested at times. There are multiple access points in and out of the shopping center. There is a traffic light to help control traffic which is a great help as making a left turn would otherwise be pretty challenging. There is nothing fancy about this store and it can get pretty crowded but the employees are always friendly and professional while efficiently going about their work. Everyone seems to like their jobs. I really enjoy shopping at Marc's and wish we had them in Virginia but at least I get the opportunity to stock up on items I grew up with and love on my trips back to my homeland, the beautiful village of Hartville.

Hartvile has the discount grocer market in the bag. Marcs has pretty good prices and they have a…read morecrazy section of just random odds and ends. Now their fruit looked hit or miss and I am not a fan of their ice cream selection, but overall they do a pretty good job. The store is a little sloppy looking. Big negative- No credit or debit. My wife and I had to pool our money to buy here. Oh they take Discover but nothing else. I was shocked and a kittle frustrated. Diapers were chesp herevas a large box was $17, in Columbus I am happy when they go on sale for $21 or so.

Shop here whenever I'm nearby. Produce on sale every week, Their double packages of marinated ribeye steaks for $5.99 are delicious and even go on sale sometimes for $5. If you enjoy a good ribeye, be sure to try them.

Off duty employee tonight was in line checking out dangling her mask around one ear, put it on for…read moreabout 2.5 seconds, and then pulled it down to her chin. I understand choosing not to confront a maskless customer- I'm aware of Karen's. However, I'm disappointed the staff are allowing their employees to not wear masks, on or off the clock. 2 other employees were working and didn't say a thing. I'll be reporting this one- I'm out of patience. Be better.

Never finished alterations that I paid for up front. Bought wedding dress for daughter from Doreen…read moreLeaf Designs nine months earlier, paid in full. Understandable months-long process for dress to arrive; daughter then went in for fitting and alteration process. Paid up front and in full for the alterations. BUT, after picking up the "final" product, found that the alterations were NEVER DONE. Now, a series of attempts to get the shop to complete the paid-for alterations have failed. I called the day after I picked up the dress, and several times after that for more than a week. Today, the lady told me they will not make any attempt to correct incomplete work. Of course, since I paid in full up front three months earlier for the alterations, the credit card company can't help me out. AND Doreen Leaf Designs is closing its doors. They took my money and ran!

The dresses came in very close to the wedding and they were unwilling to work with me to be able to get me fit in their schedule for an alteration. Keep in mind these dresses were placed on time and were supposed to be in two months before the wedding. They came in 3 weeks before the wedding and needed me to come in 3 different times to get the dress altered. One time to come fit the dress, another to meet with the tailor (an hour long appointment), and a third time to try on. They are also appointment only to pick up so they could not even get me an evening time (after work) to be able to pick up. I had to have someone else pick up the dress at a time that was convenient only for the store. Customer service is at a zero here.

They send an email when your order is ready. When you get there, they have a little corral area and you park there and call in to let them know you've arrived. It has a cool little pizza shop, a tanning salon, and a couple of other businesses. It's tiny, which sort of negates the name Double D. The only business I've frequented here is the pizza place, which I will review separately some other time. But this plaza is too well-monickered to not be on Yelp. I was even considering making my 3 star rating "Double", but a 6 star is impossible, so I DD it. (Didn't Do).
