    Big is a great word that describes this store. The merchandise is very seasonal, plus so much more. Everyday items are plentiful plus tons in home decor, garden and food. Prices are good but you really feel like you are shopping in a bargain basement.

    First of all when I walked in I didn't think I was in a BIG LOTS. It's been a couple of years since I'd been here. Last time was a typical messy store. This place must be under new management. It was clean and organized and friendly staff. I've been in Corp retail management all my career. Reciently retired. So I've been trained to notice everything. I get no kick backs & nothing to gain from this review. I know all to often, companies get awful and sometimes uncalled for bad reviews but when I have a good experience I will be the first to give recognition. This staff has been trained well! That starts at the top, so kudos to top management. I was asked several times by hard working staff that still stopped and asked if I needed help. ( mind you this was at 4:30 pm ) by this time a store is usually torn up & shopped. So a piece of furniture catches my eve and SCOTT B. comes over to me & I ask if there is stock on this item. There was not. So I moved on. See something else that works better. This guy was over the top friendly & knowledgeable about the entire store. He reminded me of myself @ his age. Lol( a good thing) so again he goes to the back and indeed he has it. Brings it up to the front for me. The cashier that checked me out was very friendly and signed me up for the rewards card that SCOTT B told me about. Not sure of her name but C1766001 is on my receipt. When I brought back the dolly I noticed something else. SCOTT B helped me again. I checked out again and Terry #C1650433 helped me w/ the same excellent customer service. I hear he is the Asst Mgr. I thought maybe it was a fluke that he just felt sorry for me and was overly helpful. Lol. I noticed that kid stopped what ever he was doing for every customer he came in contact with. Customer service w/very high standards. I know this comes from with-in so I'm not giving BIG LOTS much credit, because I shop your store off & on over the years. ***Just a warning to the higher ups, if I was a recruiter or owned my own company still I'd have recruited this guy before you know what hit you. He will make some company look very good & profitable!!! * I purchased a Kitchen pantry & 84" deco Shepard. *** There was another guy & gal glued to the desk back in the furniture dept that never acknowledged me even though I walked past them several times. I even pushed back the dolly right next to them. They did at least look up but continued there conversation. I'm sure it was work related. Overall still 5 stars

    Crushed legs

    Ordered 2 items online early morning for same day delivery, after I purchased the items I received a call from delivery stating they were unable to deliver until 2 more days not same day as advertised. I asked what happened with the same day as advertised delivery I was told they were backed up & couldn't get to me until 2 days later although frustrated I just wanted my things so I re-scheduled even though I've already paid for same day delivery. While delivering my items they damaged my car by with deep scratches by dragging the dresser along the back bumper while moving it with the dolly, not only that when I opened the box my dresser was damaged the 2 legs were crushed & the top wood piece was split, I couldn't see it until I pulled the whole piece out. When i looked back on my home security camera it showed the delivery company dropping my item & handling it rough (no wonder it was smashed & split) When I asked why did she damage my car she said it was her husband fault he Should've delivered not her. I was so upset she damaged my vehicle & my product & when I asked her who's gonna pay for the damages she told me to call customer service. At this point I'm livid so she leaves (in a huury)I call Big Lots they set me up with customer service but I have not received a call yet. I believe this was false advertisement of SAME DAY DELIVERY bait, I wouldn't have purchased these items but i wanted to take advantage of a great deal the NEVER EXISTED. Buyer beware of the SAME DAY DELIVERY bait, go get it yourself. Now I have a damaged car & dresser thanks to some incompetent people. I hope I can resolve this issue with them but I feel I will get the run around for a while‍ I will keep you posted on how things turn out

    Its a Hit & Miss at this Big Lots this Holiday Season, The store was clean down some isles & Dirty & Messy down others, a BIG NONO is that a lot of products had NO PRICE, Well in My book that means lots of Missed sales coz who has time to take a handful of items to get a price check, this store lost money on me coz I would of bought more if they had prices on them. The $3.50 Soap was pricey you can go next door 99cent store & get the same stuff for .99 cents, Now the Holiday Section was 50% OFF & many of the shelfs were EMPTY. only one reg. Open on check out & the Cashier was nice & friendly. see Pix!! Happy Holidayz

All three appointments (initial try-on, alterations, final fitting) felt so private, peaceful, and special and Carla and the team were all so incredibly kind. I felt like a Barbie princess being so well taken care of as they went all around the room collecting dresses that fit my vision and my budget. I chose Dakota from Casablanca Bridal's Beloved line within one hour, I fell in love with it at the first appointment and will forever be in love with it. It was bittersweet picking up my dress because it meant no more appointments. On my wedding day, my flower girls came into the bridal suite and one of them said "You look like a princess!" which evoked INSTANT tears from one of my bridesmaids. Thank you Ann's Classic Affairs team for such a beautiful experience and being part of the exciting lead-up to our wedding day!!!

Gypsy Sunset's displays took me back to how enjoyable that was, to create, with an artist's flair for fashion. I spoke with the stylist/salesgirl about that and she expressed how much fun that was for her. It showed. I bought a couple things and was helped by the stylist in making those selections. .
