When we entered the store we saw several items throughout the store displaying 60% off. Well my wife found her shoes now she is loading up on other bargains at the 60% sale price. My husband purchased a pair of Sketchers Sandals in December from Belk. He has worn them a total…read moreof 5 times. He went to put them on this morning and split in half. We went to Belk to exchange or get a refund since he's only worn them 5 times. They no longer had his size so we requested a refund. They said that they can't tell how much we paid being it was over 30 days. The sandals were regularly $65 and we got them on sale for $48 when we purchased them. The store would not credit our Belk account for the $48. Their system would only allow a refund of $17 on a gift card since we didn't have the receipt. If we had known the sandals were going to split like that we would have kept the receipt. I feel that their excuse that the system can't find pricing if over 30 days is total bull crap and a way for the store to profit and the consumer to be out of money for sandals that only last 5 times of being worn. We will no longer shop at their store. They should be able to look up anything that I charged on their Belk Mastercard. You have lost a loyal customer for such horrible customer service.

I guess I'm just not a department store type of guy, I find I have more productive shopping experiences online. Anyway I guess they do have a niche business and it's closer for me to go here and get in and out fast verses going to a mall. When checking out, the cashier seemed a little confused on my discounts but was eager to help and I also had a gentleman offer to help me out to the car with my items which was so helpful since I got a car seat and I am pregnant. They need an express lane.

It's been forever since I've shopped in a brick and mortar department store with all the online options available but I needed to pick up a few items and was happy to see some great sale prices on clothing that wasn't only on sale racks, some with up to 65% off their original prices. It seemed most of the sale associates were eager to help anyone walking through their department, so it was definitely a unique personal shopping experience. It seems like these jobs are commissioned sales positions or maybe it's just to break the boredom of being employed here nonetheless I enjoyed my time here. The store was immaculate and there was plenty of inventory as you'd expect. I picked up (3) pairs of jeans, a pair of slacks and (4) four shirts all name brand for just under $500. I love online shopping but it was nice to actually touch and feel the merchandise. This experience probably won't change my preference when it comes to shopping but it's good to see this options is still available...

After talking to Dwey, the store manager, I was given nothing but attitude and mockery for being upset. Since her texts were a bit more cautious than her phone conversations he mocked me and said anyone would pay that much to travel for a chance at an interview...are you kidding me?!?! Heartless and inconsiderate the both of them. Who does that to someone? Apparently Keti and Dewey at Dillard's Daytona Beach....no wonder that place and mall are dead with that kind of culture. I just went and ordered my eyeglasses from that store and was very pleased that they had a great selection of very nice glasses. Not only that but my insurance covered s lot of the cost. The sweet lady asked if she could help by the time I had the second pair of glasses tried on. Very helpful from start to finish. And they will keep me informed on when to expect them. I'm impressed!
