Well it works for me, as mine is Big and Barbie gets off on it Lots. So I used to use these stores a lot when I lived in Buffalo, and my BFF used to go here all the time and love them. They always makes me think of her and the way she used to say it (Big Laahhhhhhts!). They're great store and very underrated. They're not a dollar store, but you should know that they have better stuff than a dollar store for not much more money. So before you upgrade from the dollar store to Walmart, consider Big Lots, cuz you might make some savings. They don't have what Walmart has, selection wise, but they have what dollar stores have, and more, and better. read more

I have to add at least one star to make a post. I tried to have zero stars for this store bt I cannot share this if I do not add a star. This store deserves zero stars. This store has absolutely the worst employees. Lazy and they lie to the customers. Do not go to this store. My wife and I made a trip up from Sandwich, MA about 30 minutes from this store to pick up 2 Doral Brown Sling Fabric Stacking Outdoor Dining Chairs. Your website for the Plymouth Store says you have 41 in stock. When we arrived, we asked a woman to assist us in getting the chairs, we showed her the SKU # on our cell phone and a picture of the chair. She said they did not have any. When I said it shows you have 41, she said she did not, and a male store employee said they were coming in on a truck maybe today or tomorrow. My wife and I knew this was false information. We bought another item we wanted, went to pay, and asked the cashier if she could check the SKU on the chair. She confirmed they had 41 in stock, she used her two-way radio to get some assistance and when she did, the women that told us they did not have any came over and was clearly angry and told the girl she had already told us they do not have any. I got mad and set forget it. Your employee lied to us. When we got out to our car, we looked up the same chair at a Big Lots store in Raynham, MA. Raynham is an hour drive for us. The website showed 22 in stock. We went to the store and purchased two chairs with zero issues. They only had one on the floor, I asked a store employee to see if you had more, she said she had plenty. She went and got two for us. That is how the other store should have operated. what do you need for the house? ok. shut your face. big lots has it. for cheap. the best description i can give is a mix of ocean state job lot and marshall's with a dash of sears and a pinch of stop & shop thrown in. so, if you need under-bed storage containers, a bed to put them under, food for your dog or cat, litter or plastic bags to collect the . . . uh . . . leftovers, carpets, vacuum cleaners ($40!?!?), curtains for the shower or the windows ($5 - $10), or just want to stock up on a bunch of stacker II energy drinks, stop in. this location just opened. it's clean, bright, well organized, big - but not huge, and the staff is friendly and helpful. mostly name brand stuff, which i found impressive. but they have their fair share of "sorny" and "magnetbox" brands as well. the nitty gritty: on the taunton/raynham line, so if you're here you drove. worth the trip from the boston area? 40 minutes at high speed? no. worth a stop in if you happen to be in the area? sure. you'll probably buy something to buy. i did (disposable vinyl gloves - don't ask). read more

Big Lots is one of my favorite discount stores. In general, I like their prices and variety better than Job Lot, but much prefer Job Lot's locations. Unfortunately, Big Lots hasn't made it to my area yet, and Job Lot is dominantly the discount store throughout the area with 2 stores. Nevertheless, here Big Lots is competing with Benny's right across the street, possibly one of the reasons that is one of the best Big Lots locations I've ever shopped. The Raynham location may not have much curb appeal from the outside and looks more like a run-down shack, but in reality, it has a better selection than most of the other Big Lots, and seems to always have a huge clearance section, filled with great stuff at better-than-expected prices (even for clearance!). The store is on the larger side, with a good variety of everything from home to electronics to seasonal to food to cleaning and to everything in between. Store isn't too busy and has a large parking lot (park carefully though... carts are always flying through the lot), and staff are normally present around the store and keep the lines to a minimum. Good discount store for the area, make sure to check out Benny's as well..... they are both great. read more

Hey while back I was at Big Lots. The one on 44 in Raynham. I was at the register and a woman by the name of Barbara was helping a customer out. He was a senior citizen. He had two canes in his hands and was clearly short on funds. He wanted to buy a watch which I could tell was not all that expensive but wasn't the point. I was thoroughly impressed with Barbara the cashier, who actually out of her own pocket for the customer to get the watch. She said that she was raised believing that if you can do for others you should. I took the time to call the store and left a message with the manager letting him know about this wonderful experience. If you're in the big lots, and you see Barbara, say something nice to her. She deserves it! This grand gesture brought me to tears. Made me think of my own father and how I missed him. And how important it is for we as a culture to take better care of our senior citizens. I have nothing good to say about this location. I have been to several other locations so I can compare it to that, as I generally enjoy my visits to Big Lots, but not today. Place was super cramped. At checkout the cashier was not helpful to me or the older gentleman in front of me. I will not be back. read more
