A co worker brought me here for in search of some affordable last minute decorations. I've never been here but was up for a try. This place has a bit of everything, the only problem is they are not very well organized. Each aisle seemed worst then the last, so many random items just tossed throughout. It was difficult finding prices on these things. I got a few rolls of wrapping paper, the sign said 20% off but they all rang up at $1.00 each...um ok. The same thing happened with these gift bags, nothing matched up with the price tags. The cashiers were slow and seemed only interested in their cell phones. When I asked about the price difference at the register, the response was simply what ever it scans is the price... The plus side was we found a lot of decorations and holiday wrapping paper for super cheap prices. Defiantly won't be shopping here regularly, but once in a while..sure. read more

While Big Lots may not have the "cachet" of the big box stores, its always fun to swing by and see what's new there. I've scoured the boxes of DVDs and walked away with a few gems for $3, picked up discounted computer peripherals and saved tons of money on USB cables and the like. I've been here enough times so I'm finally reviewing it.. they basically carry close out items from a few different well known stores. They have food, furniture, housewares and holiday stuff for your house indoor and outdoor. It's a pretty no nonsense type of place. Prices on some items are really great others are ok..It's in a strip mall that has other stores in it off of busy Jefferson Road In Henrietta. I got a 4.5 foot pre lit tree for $20 and I am happy with it, I've now used it twice. Other items we've gotten have been pretty good but I'll be frank we come here to look at the food items. Staff can be totally aloof or on it... oh well. It is what it is... they share a large parking lot and you are set with parking. Party on read more

Same day delivery a joke and waste of time and money. One representative does not know what the other is doing. I chat online and am told one thing. Rep. gives me the number to the store and basically knows nothing. One item out of three cancelled and no one can tell me if other items will be delivered. I do not recommend same day delivery as a waste of time and money. Go to the story if you can. At least you will know what you are doing even if the store does not. read more

Worth a stop if in the nearby plaza. Big lots is the type of store that you walk in needing nothing specific, but end up buying items that you didn't know that you wanted. At times I have gone in wanting random things that I didn't want to pay full retail price for, such as a small planner for work or cheap headphones for the gym. Generally speaking, they usually have odds and ends and you can score random things here for relatively cheap. However, as the saying goes, "you get what you pay for." If you carefully choose items here, gems can be scored. My tip: Take your time, bring a friend and sip coffee while you peruse. read more

Always check the clearance section for rock bottom prices on the stuff you want. Big Lots often gets their stock from name brand stores, like BBB or Pier One. It might be a year after it was in the brand name store, but it will make it there eventually. The store in Henrietta is always dirty and unkempt. It's ok if you don't mind shopping for bargains. read more

This place isn't bad, but it's very un-organized. Cookies here, with a few loafs of bread sitting on top. I know it's not the store's fault, but it is very hard to navigate this store. The discounts are great! I mean you can get a 12" forged frying pan here for twelve bucks! That is a good deal. Anywhere else it would be like 30. LOL. Moving on... Big Lots is located in a very busy plaza in Herietta, and that's very good for their business but not for the customer's pleasure. Good deals, bad crowds. Best time to come? Probably around 3 or 4. Nice big store with the usual big lots merchandise. The prices seem good on things but the furniture I'm not sold on yet. Also have a refrigerated section also. The employees seem friendly and always greet you when you walk in which is nice to see. Also have a rewards program I signed up for that looks good. I shall return to shop and update!!! read more

Not the greatest experience tonight. Came in to buy a couch and walked empty handed and not in the best spirit of customer service. I asked for price and delivery and okay he did answer. then when my boyfriend and I where going to ask if they did delivery service for some other day a guy came up asked him a question and he just left us there. I was kind of concerned because I was going to buy something but I guess they lost a customer. I did like the couch though but what else can I do. read more

My go to place for paper goods...and good deals! Scored Bed & Bath drapes for a fraction of the cost; good quality products in grains, storage and kitchen stuff! Staff is very helpful! Kindly let me walk away with boxes for moving, even emptying out merchandise so I could have size I needed! Super nice people!!! read more

I love big lots because of their prices. You can always find great deals and loads of things to look at. The people who work there are great and nice....but this is not about what I like about them sadly to say this is about what I don't like about EVERY big lots I go to and that is their BATHROOMS. I don't understand why we who spend our money in these stores have to use these nasty a-- bathrooms. I have wanted to write about big lots bathrooms for some time now...and today I have just had it..this is what this bathroom sink look like it's just not right... So if anyone who reads this don't understand what I'm talking about look at this picture. Normally the whole bathroom is a mess at others but at least this one was clean it was when I went to wash my hands and saw this nasty sink that i lost it.. Please Big Lots clean your bathrooms. Other than that your stores are great. (I thought I could show a picture I took of this sink I guess not. But if I figure out how to do it I will put it on here.) read more
