The employees here were so friendly. I love how curated the shop is. Since it's December the shop was decked out for christmas. I loved all the vintage inspired ornaments they had. My son and I ended up purchasing three. I also loved the holiday candles they carried. The whole place smelled amazing due to the gingerbread candle they had lit. I went home with a white spruce one and it does not disappoint. I love lighting it! I'm sure the next time I head in the shop will be pretty different since it won't be Christmastime. Type of place where you have to turn sideways at times to get by things. I'm not sure what the building was built for originally but it is obviously has been around for a while. The inside is basically several small rooms stuffed with stuff. All kinds of antiques, linens, old signs, clothing, furniture and plenty of cool knick knacks and doo dads. Things seem to move in and out quickly so every trip is a new adventure. The folks that work here are pleasant and friendly and let you take your time and look around without bothering you. That's a good thing because there is a lot to look at even though it's all in a small area. Mundane and common things mixed in with the unusual. The last time we happened by we saw a reproduction antique sink that was exactly what we were looking for. The price ended up being substantially lower than on line catalogs we were looking at. It was easy to install and works and looks great. A pleasant and unexpected find in a cool little store.

They also have those self service kiosks now, so you can be quickly in and out but there's an employee always helping in that area and if you rather be rung out by an employee they will gladly help you. The store has changed though with things being higher than 5.00, but the selection of things are really great and I think they have a lot of great prices. The market itself has pretty much all the same food items as the BJs wholesale club but probably a little bit more fresh food there. Place was very clean well lit. Decent sized parking lot that self checkout was fairly easy and they had a lot of stations. I definitely shopped faster since there's not as much of the electronics furniture and other things that a normal wholesale club would have to distract you. If people want Pottery Barn furniture, they can just go to Pottery Barn, which is probably a safer bet when buying upholstered furniture since used stuff (even if it appears to be in good condition) could be harboring bed bugs. We aren't familiar with the store layout and were talking amongst ourselves as to where men's pajamas could be. An employee who was close enough to hear us made a bee-line away being sure not to make eye contact. Once we found the department, we are talking to each other about where the flannel sets may be located. A second employee followed the example of our previous encounter. We did find what we wanted. No prices are listed nearby or on the garments. Now to find a cashier. We walk around looking. None of the customer service desks are manned. We finally find an employee who is able, and willing, to check us out. That was an unpleasant interaction. Our pajamas were sixty dollars and I apparantly am an ignorant human according to the cashier for not agreeing with their opinions. Brilliant.
