Got the large caramel torani sauce for $8 and large coconut water 2L for $5. Also good selection of pots/pans and Tupperware. I've really been liking that they carry some Stanley cups now as well as lunch totes. Their glass Tupperware for packing lunches is way more affordable than Amazon as well. read more

I always love shopping here. The staff are very friendly and the lines , though always long as it's always busy .. move very fast. They usually have most of the registers open. I have found some cute shoes and pjs here but my fave is all the home goods. You never know what cool one of a kind item you will happen upon. They have a nice pet section for your furry friends thats a lot cheaper than the pet stores. They have a lot of different foods I have never heard of before. Skin care and hair care have some brand names for cheap. It's a great store and I really enjoy shopping at this location. read more

I stopped at this TJ Maxx to check out deals and specials and I found some nice white t-shirts for a good price. It's funny that many times I walk into a TJ Maxx or Marshall's without any specific item in mind and I come out of the store with a purchase..LOL. The deals are usually good at TJ Maxx, so if you find a good special, you got to grab it.... This store had a good size men's section with lots of shirts, pants and underwear items. I don't understand some of the reviews that I've read about this particular store who offers great prices and great selections. Maybe they thought it would be a Rodeo Drive experience? Carry your bags to tha car? Smh This TJ MAX is beautiful. Located in Smithfield RI you can find pretty much anything you need, whether you're shopping for you or someone else. The store is spotless. The staff is awesome. The selection is wonderful. On this particular day I found designer blouses that sold for $70 elsewhere that were being sold here for $25. I don't understand what the difference was, but it was great for me to have found these awesome deals. Home Decor has all of the ideas that can bring boring to Enchanting. I love their selection!! I also work in the jewelry industry and the selection is really great.. and if you like Betsy Johnson, look no further! The handbags are also seriously discounted, as well as a great selection of cosmetics. I scored some beautiful Urban Decay lipsticks as well as Anastasia blush compacts. The clothing departments were well organized. You may not always find what you want, but you're going to walk away with what you didn't think you could live without. This store is beautiful. This TJ Maxx is actually really nice. Most locations are hit or miss but this one seems to have a lot of great inventory. Plenty of name brands and they usually have my size in stock (XS or S) whereas I've found most discount stores never have anything cute left for me. I've shopped in here plenty of times and never left a review but I was pleased with my last time in that they deserve a good review. I spent an entire day looking all over for specific items for my vacation and as last resort I figured I'd look around tj maxx. Luckily I did because I found exactly what I wanted and for even cheaper than I had planned on spending. The store was put together pretty well compared to the madness I've seen at other locations. I hate when these type stores have mismatched sizing and items that don't belong near each other. I'm very organized ocd so these things matter to me LOL!! So I obviously can't stay away from this store because of the FANTASTIC merchandise but I'm honestly beyond annoyed with the incompetence or just plain ignorance of many of the staff members.. So I made a purchase of over $100 In cash (I spend A LOT of my hard earned money here) a couple of ago and I took some of the tags off because 1. They are annoying and difficult to remove as is and 2. Because why not- I own it at that point. I decided that I didn't like the way this shirt I purchased fit and wanted to return it. I had the original brand tags still affixed to the Italian Silk shirt but because of where the sensor was - it removed the TJ maxx tag. Welllll apparently if you or THEY remove the Tj Maxx tags they will give you HELL returning anything- EVEN with a receipt- which is unacceptable! Just the downright poor attitude & more of less refusal to return a new and unworn shirt was crazy to me!! I FINALLY spoke to a manager who was VERY QUICK to return my items with the receipts & tags as well as issue a much deserved apology! DOES THE RETURN POLICY SAY ANYTHING ABOUT THE TJ maxx tag needing to be ATTACHED to the shirt? AND IF IT DOES- THE EMPLOYEE SHOULD HAVE PUT ON A NEW TAG AFTER THEY ACCIDENTALLY TOOK MINE OFF- when they removed the sensor!!!! Either way- I don't believe it even says that! Thank god the manager was there because he GLADLY returned my items and gave the rude staff member a check in customer service - re-educating her in regards to the fact that I am the PAYING customer (with a receipt dated a day or 2 before) & should be treated with respect; I felt like I was being treated like a CRIMINAL... The best part of this all was that I was even nice enough to GO OUT OF MY WAY AND Grab the same exact shirt they had (on the racks) and bring it up to the return counter at the time of my return. I did that for a number of reasons including: to help them do their job by: avoiding a price check, to show the crucial location of where the sensor was, that the price that was on the shirt was the actual price, etc etc., Basically you know helping them by making their job easier or doing their job for them (to an extent). SOMETHING I shouldn't have to do but they make returns with receipts SO difficult- like I'm LYING OR HIDING SOMETHING WHEN everything I PRESENTED THEM MATCHES up but I JUST KNEW I would run into problems.... and I was right! And alas another example of an issue but it appears NEW MANAGEMENT has taken over and maybe this is the change this store so desperately needed! Hope to see future changes here!!!!! read more

Love everything about Tj max in Smithfield. Very convenient location for me, always something new. Although as a costumer the Mangers at this store are Awful NEVER a smile or welcome speak down to the employees every time I'm there if I Noticed this as a customer imagine how the employees must feel? I Went as far as trying to get in touch with district manager Felix to voice my opinion on the management at this location. Other than that employees are so sweet and friendly Always say Hi, notice you, and a very helpful. Management on the other hand needs a major overhaul!!! read more

I am mostly an online shopper but I went shopping with my daughter and grandson and was pleasantly surprised to see the selection available here. There wasn't really anything that I needed but I did find a couple of fun things for my grandson. I also found a very pretty table cloth for my table in the dining room which I needed. But I wandered round and looked at the clearance shelves and they had some very good prices on a variety of items. I looked in the handbag section and again they had some very good prices if you are in the market for a handbag especially one that is a designer bag. I would like to say that the service was good but I found the cashier to be rude and that kind of put me off about going back there. But other than her the experience was pretty good. read more

This is a smaller TjMaxx but it has a variety of things. They have purses , jewelry , hair products , shoes , lingerie , home , kids , men's and women's clothing. A little bit of everything. I really enjoy all the clearance sections they have a lot on clearance always and every here and there you find good deals on great products. The best part of all these stores is that they carry name brand clothing for cheap prices. Always providing a variety of name brands and designs in all clothing areas. Since this is a smaller store they don't have a huge selection but it's big enough for a variety. The home section always sucks me in, I love what they have the section always gives me ideas on how to design my home. I stay basically in this isle the most , and of course women clothing. Check this location out. You will enjoy it. I'm only giving it 4 stars because of how small it is , but it's always so clean which I enjoy. read more

I have no shame admitting that I come here for the shampoos and body soaps among other items. I've been coming to this Tj Maxx for almost twenty years. Like many other variants of these stores it sometimes resembles a hurricane swept through it, but they offer fantastic deals. I found a shampoo that we normally spent $20 in other other stores for $4 on clearance. Gym clothes, socks, last minute gift idea, and even various food and snack items are found here. read more

GOOD LUCK! Absolute awful customer service to the fact I had to call corporate. First time I tried to return something without a receipt ($9) was told I couldn't because it was too popular... Rae Dunn.. Then I came in last week and purchased a couple clearance items the cashier was so shocked he said I have to call a manager to confirm. Confirm what? I can't make my own price tags. I heard him on the radio this dress is $3 is that right? Yep! The sign says clearance $1-$5.. yellow tags. He said "you got lucky today!" Today was the final straw when I tried to return Valentino shoes new with the tags AND the receipt and I had to get a manager approval... took 15 minutes of me standing in line for what? An approval? The shoes were new, the tag was attached, I had the receipt. I will not return to this location because every time I'm treated like a criminal. Very very sad. As a plus size woman, this store barely has 1 ONE rack of clothing. At least in some of the other locations they may have 2 racks at best. I find this to be very discriminating!!! I went to this store to return some items I bought at a different TJ Maxx and have never felt so harrassed in my life. I am actually a TJX employee and no other store that I have ever shopped in has treated me as poorly as this store. Yes, I threw my receipt out by accident and was asked why I didn't return my items where I bought them. Was asked 100 questions as if I had stolen the items. Let me begin by saying that I've been shopping at this location for years. I'm not sure why I keep coming back because I typically walk out empty handed. The selections are just not great at all. On top of the poor selection, I've been noticing more and more that the staff is just as poor as the selection. I just made a return at this location (of an item purchased at a different location because it didn't fit right) and I didn't even get a hello or a how are you from the cashier (Teri S.). The only words she spoke were "do you have your master card"? I replied yes - she says it ends in "****". I said yes again. She then did the refund, printed the slip, and Said "sign top line". I signed and said thank you to which she did not reply. I will not be back to this location. I've worked in retail and the restaurant industry in the past....I wouldn't never not greet a customer nor would I never not thank them for their business.
