The area is clearly visible from the front door (just to the right) and someone was immediately available to help It took a few minutes to retrieve my items but it was a smooth process. I'm not the biggest fan of target stores but this one is okay, I guess. The parking lot can be very anxiety provoking and getting in and out can be a bit much, but I do enjoy their pick up service, which I appreciate and they're indeed quick with the 2 hour pick up service I do love this! I've been inside the store quite a few times and while it's generally clean it can be a chaotic mess. I was looking for something specific and I couldn't find it to save my life. I went over to the area where I could request an employee, which they did come but they were pretty useless they told me they had a quantity of 2 of the items I needed but she couldn't help me find the second one (it was a toy) because the whole toy section I was in was a horrendous mess, instead of helping me look for it she took one look for maybe all of 1 minute shrugged and said I'm sorry I couldn't find it, and went on about her day. I found this very disheartening because her job is customer service and I feel like a minute of "looking" wasn't looking at all. I indeed did not find the item and just got it somewhere else. There's nothing special going on here. I wasted my time actually. But I'm also not a target person really, so no stress. read more

This Target location is in Bald Hill Place in Warwick. Bald Hill Place includes Dollar Tree, Famous Footwear, Guitar Center, Harbor Freight, Hibachi Grill & Buffet, and TJ Maxx & Homegoods. There is no problem finding parking as there are plenty of spots. Usually all Target locations have a very similar setup so it's not too unfamiliar. The aisles were very organized and stocked. I always enjoy looking at the Bullseye's Playground & Dollar Spot section to find $1, $3 and $5 items which is located by the entrance, but this section was very small compared to other locations. The Target App is an easy way to shop and save. If there is a specific item you are looking for, the app will tell you the exact aisle and how many are in stock. There are self-checkout stations and cashier lanes open. Only 1 cashier was working when it was my turn to checkout. Unlike other Targets, this Target does not have a Starbucks Cafe. read more

Twice in the last month when I was at checkout an item rang up more expensive than it was listed on the shelf. They're raising prices so fast that they can't keep up with the work to change the tags. The mouthwash I use is 70% more expensive than it was a few months ago. read more

i returned sleep sacks to target from hudson baby . The costumer service person turned around and just threw it in the trash. The worker said they can't resell it because it's a third-party seller. What an environmental waste and waste to children in need. Target said they were "just following the third parties directions" like they have no say or didn't agree to these protocols. Im enraged. I can only imagine the amount of waste Target creates daily from these actions. If they really couldn't sell it, they should have given it to me and i could have donated it. That is what amazon does for things they cannot resell. Amazon says "keep it". Chewy does that for dog items too. There is no reason to throw away something that had no defects. I have a love/hate relationship with Target. I love that it isn't Walmart. I love how bright and clean the store is. I love that there is a better energy and flow to the store than a lot of other places. That said, I hate the slopped parking lot, the limited selection compared to other stores and the higher prices. For me, at least, Target is one of those places I frequently go to, and look around, but I usually don't end up buying anything. People here are always great, so its a place to check out for sure, but I still go to Walmart for most of the stuff I need unfortunately. read more

I used to shop here all the time but it's gone downhill in the last year. Shelves completely empty and long checkout lines even for self checkout. I went today after not going for quite a while and was absolutely disgusted as soon as I walked in. Trash everywhere and there were multiple used latex gloves thrown over the carriages as well as food wrappers. I could not locate a clean carriage so I proceeded to try and shop without one. I didn't last long in the store. It was dirty and there were boxes everywhere making it hard to shop. I used to spend more money than I'd like to admit here but I just can't continue to shop in a store this messy. read more

Big store with lots to offer. This was actually one of the few places where I could find my paper products back at the beginning of the 2020 rush on tp. They were limiting the quantities each party could purchase and honestly, I was grateful to be able to find anything, regardless of the brand! They do carry a wide variety of brands throughout the store. When you enter the store, you are directed straight ahead, no more turning left toward the pharmacy, past the check outs. This area has been organized into two lines, one for self checkout, and one for the normal, assisted checkout, which takes up most of the space so folks walking by would not be able to keep a safe 6 feet apart, hence the detour, straight ahead. They carry all the things a large department store carries, expect jewelry. They have a bit of costume, but the jewelry counter was removed during their recent renovations. I picked up some Disney character clothing as a gift during the holidays in the kids department as well as paw patrol. I have purchased a few items of clothes here for myself and my family through the years and they change inventory seasonally: Bathing suits, sun hats, pocketbooks, shoes, socks, workout clothes, men's, kids, towels, sheets, candles, storage, toys, sporting goods, food, H&B, it's all here. I can't say the prices are always the lowest here, but they do have quite a variety. Although there are a few 'natural' items in the H&B area, most still have pesky chemicals that I cannot or choose not to use. I picked up a paring knife, some glass storage containers, steak sauce, a sympathy card and yoga top all in one stop, so that was very convenient. Couldn't find craisins though. They have a huge snack section. I purchased some Ultra Soft store brand facial tissues during the rush on paper products mentioned above and wow these things are really soft. They offer curbside pick up, through their app, called Drive Up. They let you know when the order is ready, and when you arrive to pick up, use the designated lanes in their huge parking lot, and let them know through the app you have arrived, what kind of car you have and they bring out the order. The store renovations didn't make too much of a change overall, but did update some areas, like 'returns' and added lockers at the front for pre-ordered items that are waiting for pick up. The H&B section also has a new look. The store is well organized and clean and there is normally an associate not too far away if you need assistance. Customers and staff are required to wear face coverings over their nose and mouth, most customers are polite about keeping socially distanced and hand sanitizer is available to customers. You can bring your own bag, but you will have to pack that yourself as the staff are not allowed to touch them at this time. They offer contactless payment if your card has a chip or you use one of the 'wallet' features available on many smart phones. As the parking lot is quite large, you may have to park far away from the entrance, especially during busy times like holidays and weekend. There are plenty of cart and hand baskets by the entrance doors, which open 'hand free'. read more

Doing a great job during covid. Very well stocked with cleaning supplies and paper goods. Great produce and grocery dept. Staff will go out of their way to help you and always glad to look up stock on the handheld. Great job on orders placed for pickup, on time delivery to car. This store while remodeled remains a disaster. Talentless help and management render this a worthless stop. Today - with distancing requirements, long waits on long lines form for both self and full service - NO supervision by staff and people cutting lines. I spoke up - more than once. Willing to hear the back talk from offenders but NOT the staff who cannot even try to control the crowds and a front end manager who told me "we're trying to work here" REALLY ???? I'm PAYING to shop here you ignoramus ? TARGET is NOT worth my time - better prices at Walmart and if I have to put up with this lack of management - I'll just brave Wal-mart. Way cleaner than the one at the mall but not equipped to deal with heavy volume days. Cashiers always seem to be training and overall slow. Kid's clothing is a disaster, but customers also play a huge role with that. Just go super early to get out of there in a reasonable amount of time. read more

Placed an order for pick up while on our way from Connecticut at 3:30 and would be passing through town. Usually we have gotten our order in less than 1.5 hours. Not a long list of items (18 items) and 4 hours later the order was still not done. Terrible. Don't do drive up from this target and never coming back. read more

I added one more star to my review because I placed an order online and they had drive up pick up available. So I placed my order on Sunday and I didn't get there till Tuesday but they held my order until Wednesday so I made it in time. You download the app on your phone and place your order and then when you're on the way to get it, after you've gotten the notification that it was ready, you click "on my way." By the time you get there it's ready. When I got there I did click on "I'm here". They give you a number to show to the person bringing your order out through the window so you're safe. The young man who brought my stuff out was very nice and he open the back of my SUV and placed the order in the back. I felt extremely safe and was grateful for that. My order also was ready in maybe an hour if that long. It was very quick and that was nice. The only downside is that if you select for the pick up to be outside instead of inside then you can only have yourself as a pick up person. read more

This Target is a train wreck. The inside looks like a bomb went off. Merchandise all over the ground, random stuff in the aisles, merchandise jumbled all over the shelves in a haphazard manner. Target is like a more upscale version of Walmart. This store is very clean, including the bathrooms. And, unlike Walmart, checkout lines seem to be much shorter and move more quickly. Overall, it's a much more pleasant shopping experience. That said, I don't shop here too often, mainly because it's in perhaps the most congested section of Bald Hill Road, and I try to avoid traffic as much as possible. Still, their selection of merchandise seems to be a notch above Walmart. They have a small grocery section, and my wife sometimes gets certain foods or drinks here that she can't find anywhere else. Today, they really came through and surprised me, in a good way. I was looking for an ethernet computer cable coupler. Home Depot didn't have one. Best Buy wanted $10 for one (yikes!). Staples wanted $12 for one (double yikes!!). Wally World at the R.I. Mall didn't have one. I was on my way back to Best Buy, getting tired of driving on Bald Hell Road on a busy Saturday morning, when I figured I'd give Target a chance. So I was running in to grab a snack and this mean girl that works at the self checkout lanes, her name is Linda, walked over to the snack bar checkout and told me that I couldn't complete my purchase there because it was for "employees only". However I've spoken with upper management and they said with certainty that the snack bar checkout is for any guest and any employee. It's not very often that I find myself in a Target, and every time I do I, I remember why it's so seldom. This Target in particular is just gross - nearly every article in the cosmetics department had been opened, tried, and put back, which is just disgusting and also annoying when you've come all the way to Target to get something specifically. I was also surprised by how slim their party supply section is - no balloons, helium tanks or fun, kitchy party stuff. Such a shame. The last item on my list was cushions for chairs. Of all the pillows, throws, and decorative items lining the shelves of this store, there was not one single solitary cushion, which I find so odd. I'll not likely return to Target -- it really grosses me out and it's a shame that the staff isn't more knowledgable about their stock. read more

Easy in, easy out. It's usually not crowded, the staff with whom I've interacted have been knowledgeable and friendly. The store is clean and well-stocked, and is open until 10 which means you can satisfy your need for candles and dish soap well into the evening. I prefer the Target in Warwick Mall (just a few minutes away) because it has a food area for that occasional Icee urge and a Starbucks in the store. I really like this store. Whenever I stop in I find just what I'm looking for and more! I find this location to be extremely clean and organized. They have joined the self checkout train yet checkout is always a breeze because they always have the right amount of lanes open depending on the day/ crowd levels. My favorite thing about this Target location is the parking. It's not that I get to park really close to the door- it's that the parking lot is fairly unique and I am able to always park in the exact same spot. This is super useful to someone like me who 1) has a black mid-range SUV like 10 million other people right now and 2) seems to make a habit of walking laps around parking lots looking for my car. Outside of that, there isn't much I can say to differentiate this location from other locations. On the rare occasion I must use the restroom here it smells terrible but this is a common theme at all Targets, so nothing unique. Any shelf within child range is a disaster... except for late at night and the night before Black Friday. But alas, I almost always find the few items I'm looking for that Target carries for 10% or more cheaper than another place and it's a great place to wander around and think of gift ideas, etc. read more
