However, after leaving a review, the shop reached out to me, apologized, and asked me to bring the car back in. This time they took the time to actually inspect things and found that fuel had gotten into the charcoal canister, likely causing the EVAP codes. They reset the codes and recommended starting with a new gas cap before moving into deeper diagnostics, which I appreciated instead of jumping straight into expensive repairs.
