I have been going to Big O for most of my mechanical issues with our fleet of vehicles for over 25 years, now, and seriously, these guys are some of the very best in the business. I can always trust that when they make a diagnosis, it is honest and accurate. Their mechanics are good at what they do and I am never disappointed. My husband told a different mechanic friend that we always go to Big O for car repairs, and that mechanic said he'd never trust a tire shop to do mechanic work. Well, I beg to differ in this case. The only time they haven't been able to help was with a transmission issue, and they told me upfront that they couldn't do it and gave me a recommendation for a shop that did. The prices they charge are fair and reasonable, and I always feel like I got value for my money. Cory and his crew are friendly, professional, and go way above and beyond the call of duty to see that our needs are taken care of. They truly do treat us like family. Great customer service and speed but I went to change my own oil 5000 miles after they changed it and I couldn't get it off with a socket wrench so I got a 12 inch breaker bar and still couldn't get it off. I won't fault the business but it's pretty annoying when an employee either puts thread lock on your car or over torques the bolt past spec at 25 ft pound and I'm not making it budge.... About to take it to a shop with better tools and see how much force it takes. read more

Recommendation: Last night the 'low tire' indicator displayed on the dash of my truck. I stopped at Maverik and placed 6 lbs of air in the tire. This morning I went to Big O Tires on 1400 N 240 E and explained about the tire leak. My truck was taken to the bay immediately. Shortly thereafter the truck was delivered to the front of the store. I was told it was a good thing I came in because there was a nail in the tire. I said, "Thank you, what do I owe you?" The service advisor replied, "Nothing, we are happy to repair the tire and keep you safe on the road." I always trade at Discount Tire in Arizona, where I live, and fully expected to pay for this tire repair at Big O Tires. I had a great experience at this location! I have been here a few times to get my tires filled, but this time I had my oil changed. I called before going to see how long the wait was (they only work off of walk-ins) I dropped my car off and walked over to the mall. I was in & out within an hour. Unfortunately, I discovered that the folks at Big O Tires are just out to fleece customers - trying to convince them to purchase new tires, even when you don't need them. A nail punctured my rear driver side tire the other day. It was a slow leak. So, I called up Big O Tires and asked how much it would cost to patch a tire. I was told $10. Great price, right? So, I brought it into Big O Tires to get patched. The associate came out and told me, "The puncture's too close to the sidewall for us to patch, legally. You're going to have to buy a new tire." 2 new tires would have run me ~$300. Seemed mighty fishy to me - I've fixed punctures in the past that were a lot closer to the sidewall. So, I stopped by Discount Tires just down the road on Main Street. I pointed out the puncture to them, and they said, "No problem. We'll have this fixed for you in 15 minutes." The key lesson I learned: When somebody quotes you $10 to patch your tire, and his business is called "Big O Tires," you can probably assume that he doesn't make his money from patching old tires, but rather, he makes it by SELLING YOU NEW TIRES, EVEN IF YOU DON'T NEED THEM. I was very disappointed in the folks at Big O. Now I know - always go to the honest folks at Discount Tires instead! read more

I had an issue with not being notified that my brake pads were bad and it cost me a lot of cash I wasn't expecting to pay. My Mazda needed a new valve stem on my TPMS and I wanted to take advantage of the free alignment check. I was there before they opened and was literally the first customer - somehow, 5 other customers came and left before mine came out 40 minutes later... I really thought this was going to be a quick visit. Problems: they don't have a torx driver small enough to put a new stem on the tpms... so my options were a brand new tpms for $100, or a rubber stem... I was pretty shocked. Big O didn't have a precision sized torx to install a 'service kit' on a Mazda TPMS. I don't get it... and the icing - they forgot to do an alignment check... 40 minutes to install a rubber valve stem!!!!! I am completely unsatisfied - I think Walmart would have done a better job - and that's the last place I would want to go. read more

The staff is great I'm sure due to the leadership of Corey. Everytime I have needed their service, they have bent over backward to assist me. Update: Ryan Walker, the Store Owner, contacted me about the problem and asked me to come in and talk. When I did I learned that they had other complaints about the person who treated me very poorly and as a result they let him go. Ryan also offered to replace the tires in order to make things right. This is the kind of service that I was used to at this store and I am very happy that they have identified the problem and solved it, both with me personally and internally with their own staff. The people who I was initially impressed with are still working there, and based on the way that this was resolved I will continue to work with Big O for all of my tire needs in the future. We've been going to Big O for years and had pretty decent experiences, but this last one made us loose all trust in that store. We took our car for safety, etc to get our car registered. The safety didn't pass due to the emergency break part(which they fixed a year ago and it broke within a week. Not sure if that is a coincidence..) Well they told us the car would be done by the afternoon with getting fixed. Come end of business hours the car was not worked on yet, but they never bothered to call and update us. They took a look at the car again before they left and said we needed a part ordered. They told us it would be ordered and in a few days we could come back. We wondered why they didn't realize they needed the part and to let us know when they checked on the car the first time. Well three days later we called back for an update on the part since we didn't hear back yet from them. After being transferred 3 times, we were told they forgot to order it, and laughed it off like it was not a big deal. WAY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. The guy then ordered it, but told us to call back tomorrow to see if it really came because he was probably going to forget. Are you kidding me? Ever heard of pen and paper? I get places and people make mistakes, but this is all around laziness and no lack of organization. They have unfortunately lost our trust and we will not be coming back here again. read more

I am literally in awe of this place. I called the day of and asked if they had any openings, they said they did so I brought my car in for an oil change. The oil change itself took 20 minutes! Prices are standard. They won't let you provide your own Oil/Filter and receive a discount for the materials difference. You can usually find good coupons online to save $10 on your next visit. They generally work quickly, but call ahead to make sure they're not back-logged before showing up. read more

With my first vehicle, they changed the fuel pump under a 3rd party warranty. However, my fuel gage was unresponsive after the change. Long story short, Big O didn't take responsibility for the mishap and ultimately told me to take it to a dealer and pay for the work. Fast forward a few years with a different vehicle. I had the tires rotated after previously buying from this store and went ahead and had the oil changed as well. After they finished, I started driving home and the engine light illuminated. Coincidence? Maybe. I took it back to have it looked at and Big O tells me it's the thermostat and after labor it will run me $700 plus. I decided to take it to a different place for 2nd look, just in case. Turns out it was a sensor and the thermostat was fine. Saved me over $500. In all, take your vehicle anywhere else but this Big O Tires store in Logan. read more

Went in for a front end alinement and was charged $70 the highest price I have ever seen for an alinement. After driving away the car still pulled hard to the right and the steering wheel was still off. The store denied any wrong doing. Dealing with big o tires was a lost cause I finally had to take the car to another shop and guess what ? The alinement was still off. I don't know what big o tires did with my car while it was in their shop but one thing is for sure they never touched my front end. read more

Purchased tires asked them to check the alignment the sales person comes out stating I need inner tie rods and struts I told him to hold off so I could check myself. I checked the next day and they were in good shape. I immediately called the sales person who stated they needed to be replaced and told him that there was no reason to replace, he stated to take it back to him, but I ended taking to another tire store for alignment with no issues. Buyer be aware they are fabricating issues to make money at your expense. read more

For the gentlemen that wanted his tire patched. Big O only watches out for the customer! They didn't want you to be driving a long and have the patch fail and be stranded. Yes, they could have patched the tire. If the patch is to close to the bend in the tire where the tread meets the side wall its up to the customer to make the call! Discount fixed the slow leak, they just don't care if your stuck on the side of a road in a snow storm. I've been going to BIG O for 25 years now. I've had good and bad experiences. No business is perfect. Anyone that thinks someone can please everyone is fooling themselves!! Ryan is the owner and he has always tried very hard to meet the needs of each customer! The prices on Tires are OK, better with coupons. if you get the right mechanic you have quick reliable service. The tire quality is great! The tires are made by Cooper! Keep in mind they have the most locations across the nation. Very nice if you travel and hit something in the road. They will replace for free! had it happen more than a dozen times! that makes three complete sets of tires I didn't have to buy! read more

I had a very negative experience about Big O Tires. I went in to get my A/C checked on my car, because I had gotten a coupon in the mail that said they would check my A/C for free. So I went in there and they checked out my car, and the guy at the service desk(Tracy) told me the A/C system on was working fine and that there were no leaks in the system. I double asked him, are you sure there are no leaks. He said yes and also asked do you want us to charge it? I said yes, trusting Big O Tire to do a good Job. (Cause its the team you can trust) Well ten days later my A/C was blowing hot. I called them up, and they said that they had used an old machine that sounds like it didn't work very well cause it happen to several other customers. They told us that we could bring back in the car to be hooked up to the new machine. So we took the car back, and they said it had a leak in the system and that it needed some parts, and estimated it would be around a 1000 dollars to fix it. So I felt like I was being rip off, cause my A/C only lasted for 10 days. I asked for a refund, cause they had told me in the first place that my A/C system had no leaks. The other guy at the service desk(Kory) he was very rude to me. So don't go to Big O Tire cause there are only going to rip you off. read more
