Took my 2020 Corolla in first thing on a Tuesday morning for a tire rotation and alignment check. Greg, the owner got me in quickly. Wait time was about 1.5 hours which I felt was reasonable considering the popularity of the shop. When my car was ready Greg informed me that the tires were, rotated and balanced and that an alignment was performed. Greg was very transparent and clear that although an alignment service had been performed, the margins were so small he comped the alignment service due to the minimal need for adjustment. I was out the door for roughly $70 which I felt was reasonable considering the time they took to inspect my vehicle and having done some adjustments, however small. I found Big O Tires to be thorough, knowledgeable, fair and efficient to the best of their ability. Trusting anyone to work on your vehicle can be stressful, but I will be coming back as my trust has been earned! read more

Took the car for an oil change two days ago along with a tire rotation. Car was fine until I got it back. Drove the car in the freeway and a buzzing sound started sounding. I bring it to get it checked and the mechanic said it might be a wheel bearing. Then he parks my car and starts working on another vehicle. I tell Gregg what's happening and he proceeds to tell me he needs 2-3 hours for a diagnostic to tell me what really going on with the car. I came in early for Just that and they toss me aside and leave me stranded. Just because they got another car who came in later. I swear these guys are scum of the earth. They take no accountability for messing up my car. My car was driving fine. I will never trust them or go to do any type of work on my car ever again. They are garbage humans and garbage mechanics. Great service, very honest and professional. We were quoted $270 someplace else just to diagnose the issue. Here Greg knew right away before even looking at the car what the issue was and we paid the same amount to fix the car as we were going to pay for just diagnosis and I got my tires rotated as well. I have previously had a great experience with this location, I replaced a couple of tires and the service was speedy and thorough. This past Saturday however I was interested in having two tires and my brakes inspected and after service was assured my brakes were fine. I told them I had been experiencing grinding but the technician assured me they were fine. I kept experiencing the same grinding and had to take my car to another mechanic, where they told me the brakes were in terrible condition, "almost metal on metal". I will never be coming here again, as I do not trust them to give me honest service. Beware mechanics that only care about the bottom line and do not care about your safety. read more

Based on the great experience I had the first time here, I came in again for an inspection of my Telsa and 4Runner. I also got an oil change and some other work done on the 4Runner while they had it. An all-around great experience. The level of customer service and general professionalism was fantastic. It's not hard to be nice to someone, and these guys haven't forgotten that. Tire Replacement Excellent Service On Saturday, 12/23, right before Christmas Eve, I blew out a tire on the freeway by hitting a pothole. Was towed to this location to get it fixed. The tire had to be replaced and they didn't have one in stock for my car. They sent one of their guys to go get one for me. Within an hour and a half I was back on the road. Any mechanical work watch out.... I'm so angry!!! I was taken Advantage. I never told them to run and diagnostic!!! I asked them to double check their work they did a few days prior. I spend alot of money for them to do work because I was missing coolent from the reservoir. They installed a water pump. But instead they work on something else and charged me with out asking me. Replied quickly. Had the lowest cost for an estimate. Dropped off my car and was able to pick it up in under 48 hours. My QX80 was leaking gas and it was the fuel tank. Greg got me fixed up and back on the road again with no smell of gas in the car for me and my family. read more

Would not recommend bringing a new car here. I had a nail in a tire and brought my car in expecting to have to buy a new tire because of where the nail was. I was relieved to hear that they could remove the tire and repair it for around $22. After I got it back home I noticed small scratches all over my wheel, some deep enough to feel with a fingernail. I would have rather gone somewhere else even if they made me replace the tire. read more

I've taken 3-4 vehicles for alignment to Big-O-Tires with no issues before, recently brought a 2010 VW CC, never got a call regarding recommendation or their assessment, I had to call them. Their evaluation was that the rack and pinion on my car was replaced at some point and installed incorrectly. That was because the measurement were too far off a standard (read basic) alignment. They initially offered to work on the rack and pinion quoting a couple of hour labor which... I was willing to pay. Without any follow up towards their business closing time, I came ready to pick up my car and all they say was... we recommend you to take your car here (another shop in Riverside). We don't have the software to re-program your steering sensor. VW's rack and pinions are noisy, they fail, I know that. However, I brought my car back home, adjusted the tierods run/thread to a point wheels will be more straight, I'm no techinician by any means. It appears to me they didn't want to deal with the issue for more than $100 is worth of their time. Though my car still needs a measured alignment, I won't bring it back to Big O Tires due to poor assessment and willingness to provide a service. read more

I originally purchased a full set of tires and the initial service was relatively good. Ever since the initial service my TPS sensor in one tires has had issues since the replacement and never had this issue since I purchased the vehicle (2 yrs). What is leaving a negative issue for me is I got to the shop at 6:30am (even before the employees) and the facility is "scheduled " to open at 8am.. Typically people will wait in their vehicles or congregate outside. While I saw people being let in to sit when I went to open the door it was still locked yet customers were already inside and I was turned away. No reasonable excuse why they were allowed in and I was not! I had to push my point how suspicious that was and finally allowed to come in... STAFF GETS A 0 FOR THIS! read more

Absolutely not had an appointment and they simple said oh we can't take your car because we are all booked for the alignment it's first come first serve then I call obviously to understand what the purpose of making a appointment and not being able to get the services you need. The manager made excuses saying well if you're not going to listen to me we're not gonna go anywhere no I'm listening to you the simple fact that you're not honoring the appointment when you should be honoring it how was I supposed to know being a customer first time at your store that your store don't do appointments it's first come first serve. Then his excuse was oh well you wouldn't have gotten a confirmation from us because we we don't send those out but I did get a confirmation saying that about my appointment. His next excuse was oh well my Boss is the one that handles that and he obviously didn't send an email letting you know that we don't do appointments. The reason why you get big old tires and a big chain like this is to make sure your car is under warranty and cared for no matter where you go I had just moved from Las Vegas never had this issue came to California and all of a sudden big tires isn't that great like it seemed because you have their own rules and not having their employees deliver the same customer service. read more

10 stars! I purchased my wheels from another big o in HB when it was time for a balance and rotation they couldn't do it correctly for what ever reason had to go back a few times. When I took it to Greg at this shop not only did he honor my warranty but he balanced them properly and now my truck is way better on the road. I think a big difference is he is actually out in the shop working with his guys as well as managing the front. Great customer service and good technicians. read more

I really appreciated his willingness to explain everything, and what I ended up paying was less than what he initially quoted me at. The wait is always HORRIBLY LONG!!! Like HOURS! I've been here before and everyone was very kind to me each time. Went in and requested an alignment and wheel balance on my van. After getting it back driving it felt off, like alignment might be off and there was a shaking whenever I would brake. I live in the mountains and go up and down the mountain quite frequently. On my way down one morning a bolt connecting the wheel to the axle flew off of my van and the tire almost flew off. A couple of warning lights came on due to this mishap. I returned to Big O Tires to have the alignment and balance re-checked. The gentleman who helped me said the balance was never done the first time. I asked why and he said whoever checked me in probably didn't write it down on the work order. They did the balance free of charge which was nice. I called and spoke to Greg to express my concern of my tire coming off and asked if it could be from the balance not being done correctly and all the shaking that was occurring from braking going down the mountain. He got very defensive and said absolutely not. I strongly felt that this was part of the reason the bolt came loose and told him some sensors went off and was there any way we could work something out to get the warning lights taken care of at a lower cost knowing they'd probably charge an arm and a leg. He was very condescending and said that there's no way the balance had anything to do with the bolt coming loose and there's nothing he'll do about it but I can come in and have the sensors checked and they'll give me a quote for it. Had my van taken somewhere else (did not tell this place about the alignment being done recently) and they said if we'd had the alignment done recently it was probably from a sensor not being re-set after the alignment. Now whether or not the warning lights were from the sensor not being re-set or the tire coming off triggered it, I'm still extremely disappointed in how Greg handled the situation. There's a way to talk to people without sounding so arrogant and making them feel insignificant. Even though they didn't charge me for the balance after I had to take it back and have it re-checked I'm still giving 1 star. The time wasted sitting for work to be done is ridiculous. But I just can't trust this establishment knowing that they possibly miss steps and don't do what is requested the first time. Needless to say they've lost my business. ***Update: took my vehicle to Big O Tires in Rancho Cucamonga where they informed me that because I had bought my tires from Big O Tires they are supposed to provide free tire rotations at any Big O Tires I take my car to...another fail on Moreno Valley Big O Tires for trying to rip people off. They never asked any questions about where my tires were from so I ended up paying for the rotation. Terrible customer service! read more

I was bringing my vehicles to this place because a friend was giving me the "friend rate"... Come to find out, that friend rate was $35 more than the dealership. Its ok that business I guess. I am also responsible for fundraising for a local HS. We needed some competitive pricing for tires for a 53 foot trailer for the band.. I called them several times to get help on size and price, never a call back. We then needed tubes for those same tires, and of course, no call back. Maybe they though we wanted them for free. Needless to say, thanks for supporting your local schools. I always look at reviews with a skeptical eye, especially when a business has more than four stars. I have to wonder how so many customers can have a good experience and only a handful don't. More often than not, not saying all, the dissatisfied customers' complaints are those people who wouldn't be happy no matter what. Or they blame the business for not taking care of something that either was not the fault of the business or impossible to fix. Having said all that I have to agree with the majority of customers when it comes to Big O in Moreno Valley and that Greg is a huge part of why so many people have taken the time to share their positive experiences. Moving out of the area in a few days and one of my very real concerns is whether or not I will find a tire shop / vehicle maintenance business with the same high level of customer service. I love Greg and the Big O team! I truly appreciate how he gets to know his customers! Let's be real, tire prices aren't cheap but Big O is reasonable and knowledgeable. I recommend the tire warranty certificate. If anything happens to your tire they'll repair when they can or prorate towards new tire depending on the life and wear of tire. Monday's are ALWAYS busy. So, unless your In a desperate situation don't go on a Monday. I have my tires rotated every couple thousand miles to help maintain their quality and wear evening. I try to go mid week early in morning (8am) or get a ride home and back later. I was here for a screw in tire last week and it was a slow day. It would've taken about 30 minutes. I already arranged for a ride so, time wasn't a problem for me. Do your homework when buying tires but I'd recommend you give them a chance. read more

My manufacturer did would not deal with my tire warranty. They were extremely busy as one of the front desk workers was out the day I came, but they still took the time to deal with a warranty issue (that is not as profitable for them). This entailed spending time on the phone with warranty folks from Michelin while still having to answer phones and deal with customers in waiting room. They ordered the tire and had it installed the next day. Professional, friendly and above and beyond. I very much appreciated their service.
