I had to take my car back multiple times for multiple issues that they promised were fixed but weren't. Iinitially bought tires from them and got a flat about 700 miles before i needed them rotated so i just thought I'd get everything done at once (tire fixed, rotated, and oil change). Had to take it back three times to get the flat fixed. They destroyed the plastic cover under the car, forgot to put my hubcap cover back on the car and then it started to leak oil very heavily after they changed the oil. In addition, they quoted me almost twice what my mechanic quoted to fix the problems with my oil leak ($1300 vs $790). Overall, staff are pretty nice but they can't seem to get things right. I used to like them up until recently. My husband went to see them about some used tires for his truck. One of the guys came over to him to ask what he needed and he told my husband that he doesn't believe that they have that size. My husband asked if he can please check and he walked away with an attitude and said he'll be back. My husband dismissed it as him just being tired. 10-15 minutes passed and my husband noticed that he's been taking awhile to get back. So my husband walks over to see where he was. He saw my husband looking at him and he walked over right away and said that he's still looking. While "looking" another customer came and asked about something and he took that customer and helped him. My husband immediately went over to him, excused himself to the other customer and went in on the Big O worker about his lack of customer service skills. Called Big O In Spanish fork a day before my wife took her car in for an alignment to get a price. I was told 89.95 but also with promo right now 69.95. So I sent my wife in the next day to have it done she called me after getting it done saying that they were trying to charge her 110 for just the alignment. I called and asked why they were charging so much. They couldn't give me an answer. Also told her that the controls I just replaced were bad. They have less then 10,000 miles on them. I trust this location of Big O with anything I need done to my car. I took a set of Work Wheels which are pricey wheels, at least for me they are. These wheels were bought used but looked perfect to me and they were except for a small dent in the wheel which the person who sold me the wheels never mentioned and was something overlooked. This guys, screwed me over. I brought in my truck for an alignment, not only did they overcharged me By $20 but also failed to get my truck fully aligned. After a week or two I noticed that my tires were cupping, I went back and they said "Yeah we could not get the alignment in because your truck needs some kit to adjust camber" without that kit they cannot aligned it properly. Paid $300 for some kit. All my my tires were shit by this time. All they can offer is excuses. Don't buy from this cons and save yourself a headache. This happened around July 2017 December 23 I took it in for a tire rotation and spent 3 hours in the shop, yet again they could not perform a simple task, I get home and notice that they never rotated my tires. Big O Tire's pricing is hard to beat. Also very convenient to stop in for tire rotations.

In the past I always took my cars to this Big O Tires for tires and emissions checks. They are a little slow but have a nice waiting area and their staff is pleasant. Recently I took one of my cars for an emissions check and it died on them during the test. They told me that they could run a diagnostic check and see what the problem was. They called me and said the problem was the crank sensor so I have them replace it. I received another call that the car was still not running. They then told me the fuel pump was bad and replaced it. The car ran long enough to get home and then wouldn't start again. At this point it was obvious they didn't know what they were doing. I took the car to a dealership and they found the cover was missing from the fuel pump Big O failed to install the new pump properly!! The dealership fixed the problem and the car is running great. I WILL NEVER TAKE ANOTHER CAR TO THIS BIG O FOR ANY REASON. read more

They pulled off the old and put on the new and we didn't even have to get out of our car. We were in and out in less than 25 minutes. I called Big O, Spanish Fork as they requested to try and help clear up their confusion. I spoke with Josh, again. What I was expecting was a simple apology and a commitment not to perform this type of crap service again. What I got was a load of B S, & excuses. What he told me is that the reason for the delay and the misinformation concerning finding the correct tire was that their paperwork didn't match the tires that were on my car. I'm a little confused by that since Big O generated the paperwork and put the tires on my car. He said that they had been searching for months for the wrong tire. I do understand that paperwork can be wrong but...that seems a little deceptive to me when all Josh or anyone else needed to do is to take a look at the tire that they took off my car. They had it in their possession and several months to get it right. I believe that the real reason for the long delay, poor customer service, misinformation, total lack of follow-through or follow-up and B S excuses is mismanagement and a total disinterest in retaining long time customers. Went by the payson big o to get a flat tire fixed. Two days later flat again..... So decided to go by the one in Spanish Fork. They were nice about it. The only thing I don't like is the trying to upsell other things that really aren't overly necessary or can be done other places cheaper. Good for tires though. A few weeks ago my wife noticed that her front tire was going flat, we could even hear it losing air. Being brand new to the area I quickly got on my computer to look up someone close who could take a look at the tire immediately. I called Big O in Spanish Fork and visited with Neil. He assured me that they could look at the car right away. My wife drove the car in, they looked at the tire and determined that the tire could not be patched but would need to be replaced. My wife called me from Big O and told me what was going on and that the people at Big O was telling her that if we replaced just the one tire that it would completely void the warranty on our new car. I have never heard of this.... so I called our car manufacturer and asked them, they too had never heard of this. There comment was 'your wife is getting taken by a tire salesmen'. I got on the phone with the person at Big O and told them I only wanted to replace the one tire, not all 4. He proceeded to tell me how it would void the warranty on my car. I still asked that they only put on the one tire. He told me that he did not have the exact tire in stock but he could have it the next day, and if he couldn't have it the next day (Thursday) that he would put on a 'loaner' tire so that we could have use of the vehicle over the next day or so. I was also told that the price of the new tire would be $275. Just to be clear we are not driving a high performance car, or something that would have expensive tires. We drive a Subaru. The next day we were waiting to hear from Big O. No call. Waited some more, still no call. I called at noon to ask what the status of the car was. I was told that the tire would be in sometime the next week, likely Wednesday. He assured me that he had looked all over the state and region for a tire and none were to be found so he had to 'special order' a tire in from California. I asked if they had put the 'loaner' tire on yet and he then told me that they couldn't do such a thing. I asked if anyone was planning on calling me and telling me this news. At this point I was quite upset. I explained that we couldn't be without the use of our car for a full week to get a simple tire fixed. I ended our conversation and started calling other local tire stores to see if I could find this tire locally. The very first place I called was Discount Tire in Provo to ask if by chance they had this brand, style and size of tire. Sure enough Discount Tire had it in stock and it was $116. Now I was pissed. I called Big O and told them I wanted a refund for the tire that was being shipped (unfortunately my wife had already paid for it and for some stupid tire warranty). Our total was right around $400. I was told that I could not get a refund. I mentioned that Discount Tire had them in stock for less than half of what I was being charged. The person at Big O questioned my information and I told him to call Discount Tire for himself. He tried to explain to me how $116 was below his cost and it couldn't be for real. I said all I'm telling you is that they tell me they have this exact tire, brand, size, etc. and the price is $116. He did call Discount Tire and what I told him was confirmed. At this point I had paid $400 for one tire when I could have gone to a store not 10 miles away and gotten the exact thing I needed for $116. We worked it out so that Big O sent someone to Provo, purchased the tire from Discount Tire, brought it back to Spanish Fork, mounted it and we were done. The manager at Big O said he would check with his boss to see what 'they could do for us' and call me back. Two weeks later, still no call. I contacted him today and I got the story that since it was a special order.... Blah, blah, blah... we're sorry but there is nothing we can do for you, but the next time you come in we'll really take care of you. Long and short of it. I firmly believe that Big O in Spanish Fork actively participates in dishonest business practices. They try to scare you into purchasing all 4 tires when that may not be necessary and they outright lied when they said it would void our vehicles warranty. I strongly suggest that if you need any sort of vehicle work done, or are in need of purchasing tires that you go anywhere else. You'd have a better personal experience banging your head against the sidewalk than you would doing business with Big O in Spanish Fork. Since our experience we have mentioned it to several people and without exception everyone who we spoke to that has done any business with Big O Tire in Spanish Fork has been disappointed. Big O Tires of SPANISH FORK charged almost exactly double the retail price of the alternator we needed, and higher than normal labor. They padded the bill big time! After paying we discovered they had not replaced the bracket to hold the battery in place and had failed to latch some clamps. I was angry and astounded that employees WATCHED as my husband worked under the hood of the car for 25 minutes with nothing but pliers to finish the job they overcharged for! He continued just to see what would happen. No apologies, no assistance, they did not even offer tools! The cashier came out to talk to someone who parked nearby and tried to avoid eye contact with us for 10 minutes. Spanish Fork Big O is aptly named. Zero integrity, zero service. Liars!! Liars!! Liars!! If I could make this a negative 5 star I would!!!!! Please read the whole thing!! I went in to have my tires rotated and about an hour latter I get a call from Keith. Keith that I spoke with, told me that the boot on my rack and Pinoin was torn so severely that power steering fluid was pretty much gushing out. My initial thought was... where are the puddles of power steering fluid that should be on my garage floor??? after he said that I was at serious risk of burning out my power steering motor and need to seriously consider getting this taken care of. He then being the honest and upstanding man that he represents to be. Told me that also through his thorough analysis discovered that the bushing in my control arms where cracked and deteriorated to the point that I was in danger of having my wheel pop off and could cause horrific damage to my car. And he being so kind, told me that the rack and pinion would only cost 1,200 dollars to get replaced. And 450 something dollars to get the bushing in the control arms done. I called my mechanic Eric down at Queen Bee Auto. Explained to him my predicament. He said to bring my car by and he'd give me a diagnosis and price. Long story short he said that NONE of what Keith said was true! Well I should say Keith sort of told the truth. There was a small tear in the rack and pinion boot, but the was no leak!!! My mechanic then looked at the bushings.... and what do you know. Sure enough they do have some wear and tear with minor cracks. But no where close to putting me in any sort of danger. I have all the photos that my mechanic sent me. Bottom line is that these guys are LIARS, and FRAUDS. I hate guys like this, what if I was a single mom that doesn't know better? Or a family down on its luck and has to make everything out of the only car they own? and will have the work done, because they have to make this car last. Just Don't go here for anything. These guys are crap!! And are only concerned about up selling. And I'll bet you all that own. Big o tires will do anything about this!!! read more

Me and my husband are seriously considering moving who we do business with when it comes to the care of our vehicles. Within the last year we have had my husbands tire fall off after he picked it up from them and go through a neighbors vinyl fence, as well as cause damage to our truck. They did take care of the repairs as well as the cost for replacing the fence but seriously.....a tire falling off? That's kind of a big deal. If he had been on the freeway he could have been seriously injured and thank god our kids were not with him at the time. Just recently I went in to have tires put on my car and remembered that I needed new windshield wipers. I asked them about putting them on for me. Well fast forward to the next day when I went to go out to my car and realized they had left and unopened windshield wiper box under the drivers side windshield wiper. They didn't even put them on and then.....left it sitting on my car. I was sure charged for it though. The guys there are very friendly and nice but the quality of service has gone downhill drastically. read more

They made me give a star Or else I would not have. I have been a loyal customer to Big O for 5 + years. Parts, tires, oil Ect. And Every time I go there something is wrong with my car Mind you it is not old at all. With not a lot of miles. But they always try to get me to pay for something. Something has to be fixed or it will ruin my car or break down. The last time I got my oil changed it was a mess 3 times I had to go back because the oil was dripping. Not leaking Dripping out. The 3rd time going back they tell me that I needed to replace an oil seal. I love that I have to replace something after the 3rd attempt. I refused to take my car back Well I bought my tires through Big O so I needed them rotated and I began to experience some shaking with my car. Took it in had them rotate the tires and do an alignment. ( it would help they said.) got an alignment. Which took 1 45 minutes by the way. Then the shaking went away. Couple weeks later the shaking is back. Take it down have them look at it look at tires they said nothing wrong. Okay. The next day shaking is back. Take it back down and I said please look for a bent wheel, and check the alignment. 25 minutes later I have the keys to my car. They said there was a weight off in the tire they checked the alignment everything was fine the worker even took a ride with me to see if he could feel the shake. Nothing, Okay great its gone problem solved. With in an hour shake is back but it was the weekend couldn't make it back down. Monday morning back in. They looked at the tires Every thing again the mechanic or so they called him took it for a ride felt the shake. Took it back and said it would be 20 minutes to look underneath okay. 45 minutes later I said I needed to leave to the man at the desk. He went out and came in and said they found the problem not sure what it is they will be back to talk to you. A mechanic guy came in and said it was a transfer case to my car. Okay the transfer case How much will it cost to fix it 2300 DOLLARS. What really. Mad I went home looked online found many transfer cases I could get through the manufacturer for 1500-1600. So they wanted my to pay 700-800 dollars for labor. Really. So I went and got a second opinion come to find out its my transmission. So I then took it to the dealership to see what they found same thing Transmission. By the way both places said nothing wrong with my transfer case. So Here is the warning don't go to big o I am a mother with children Big o was not sure on what was wrong with my car and threw out a part that would have cost me 2300 when my transmission would have went out a few weeks later costing me 3700 If I would have listen to them I would be out 6 Thousand Dollars. You guys are scammers and I don't know how a business could pray on families! Shame On YOU!!! read more
