I'm very happy with Big Sandy's and their service in regard to our purchase of the Cindy Crawford couch, ottoman and chair. As a set, it is absolutely beautiful. The Big Sandy deliverymen Alex and Billy went beyond the call of duty on making sure the couch and ottoman were brought in with care and that the legs were put on properly as they noticed the style of legs looked awkward when not lined up correctly, which had happened before on the couch that was being replaced. They worked patiently making room for the new couch and ottoman and removing the other with care. They were also very kind in removing their shoes as I asked with us having new off-white carpet. They were very nice and patient as I checked each pillow for potential problems. They were the best as a team of two than any I have had but all of Big Sandy's delivery men have been very good. It would benefit the homeowner and the delivery men being a white glove delivery and especially when having to carry such a very light colored couch like the vanilla shade, that they are provided perhaps with a box of surgery gloves to have in their truck. They can then wear a pair to keep the very light colored couch from accidentally receiving fingerprints. I gave Alex and Billy a 5 out of 5 rating from us. Overall Big Sandy Dublin was excellent with providing a great salesman named Wael. He was very nice, professional and patient as well in listening and learning my taste and led me directly to the couch, ottoman and chair that fit the style I like! He also followed up with me and was available when I had any questions later. Though the couch and ottoman came with a few spots that would need cleaned, the people at the service department were very kind and accommodating. The serviceman was also very nice and when he recognized he couldn't get a few spots removed, Big Sandy sent a new couch and ottoman. We still will need a little cleaning on a very few spots the light colored fabric came with or got in placing the furniture. I saw some negative reviews for Big Sandy Super Store here on YELP, but my experience with them was positive. I was searching for a specific make and model of washing machine and I saw on the internet that Big Sandy carries it so I called to see if the Dublin store had one. Lucky for me, they had one left in stock. The salesman was helpful and answered all my questions. The only hitch in buying the washing machine turned out to be paying for it. Big Sandy doesn't let customers pay over the phone with a credit card. They said it was for security reasons. I pay for things over the phone with a credit card all the time and this was the first time I'd ever heard of such a policy. The salesman said Big Sandy typically emails customers a link to an online service where they can pay by credit card, but I don't have internet access at home and didn't want to risk having the washing machine get bought by someone else while I went somewhere to use the internet. Fortunately, the salesman was able to find a way to let me pay with my credit card over the phone--hitch solved! The delivery setup worked really well. The delivery service wasn't made by Big Sandy itself, but by a third party. They have a system that assigns you a position in the sequence of deliveries for the day and gives you an estimated delivery time. Throughout the day of the delivery you can track the delivery vehicle to see its current location, see how many deliveries it has completed so far, and check to see if your estimated delivery time has changed. When my washing machine arrived, the deliverymen opened the shipping box and noticed that there was a small dent in the machine. They told me I could return the washer or keep it and get a discount. I opted for the discount and the deliverymen took some photos of the dent to verify that the damage was there when I received the machine and not caused by me. They forwarded the photos to Big Sandy and Big Sandy gave me a 10% discount off the purchase price. From placing the order through the delivery, I had a good experience with Big Sandy and would order from them again. And I would request the same deliverymen too! read more

My Wife and I were on the hunt for a new couch. We spent a weekend already looking, continuing the search the following weekend. We went to several other places and none of them were like Big Sandy's Superstore. We were greeted with an incredibly warm welcome from Syndi and was left in peace to explore the store. It was so nice to not be followed around by pressure to purchase the latest and greatest, and she allowed us all the time to sit and test out each couch. When we came across the couch we wanted, the very first one mind you, Syndi was incredibly insightful and shared all of our customization options, including protection plans, warranty options, and made the entire process extremely easy. We caught a massive deal during one of their big sales on a beautiful and comfortable sectional. After signing the paperwork, we were surprised to know it could be delivered so quickly, but we opted for a Saturday that fit our schedule. Delivery day was today, and the process was incredibly smooth. Roberto and Juan were amazing as the delivery crew, taking time and care to bring everything into our home without any damage or disrespect. They were beyond pleasent and you could tell immediately that they were hard working and wanted to make sure everything was done correctly. They had the sectional in and pieced together within 30 minutes and I was amazed by their teamwork. Their punctuality allowed me to take care of other tasks I had planned after the delivery. If I were to purchase any further furniture, it will definitely be from Big Sandy's. This was our 3rd shopping experience at Big Sandy. This time, my wife and I were interested in purchasing a new mattress, possibly with an adjustable base. Big Frank was our sales associate and he couldn't have been more pleasant to deal with. He has over 16 years in the bedding industry and is a wealth of information. Upon receiving so much information, my wife and I needed a few days to digest it all. We eventually decided on a PURPLE mattress with the Temperpedic adjustable base. We didn't want the free bonuses that came with the bed, so Big Frank was able to switch the stuff out for what we would rather have and gave us a great deal in the process. The delivery process was painless. I received a text confirming the delivery date, that we setup with Big Frank, later that evening that also provided a 4 hour delivery window. The morning of the delivery I was texted a reminder with a link to a map showing where my delivery truck was currently located and also which stop they were at as well as what my delivery stop would be. In my case, they were enroute to their first stop and we were stop #6. My window was between noon and 4 pm. I kept checking the map and couldn't believe how fast they were making deliveries. By 12:30pm, they were already on their way to our home. I showed them the bedroom and they had everything delivered and setup within about 20 minutes. They were very careful and polite. All the packaging trash was removed by them also, which was very nice for me to not have to mess with. All of my buying experiences have been positive with no complaints. I would and do highly recommend Big Sandy to all of my friends and family. read more

I was ordering a new washer and dryer from Big Sandy Superstore through their website, when I was unable to confirm a delivery date that worked with my schedule, I called the store directly and spoke with an appliance salesman, Brian Wilds. Brian was extremely helpful, I was able to order the washer and dryer I wanted, $300 less than Best Buy, and they got delivered, installed plus were up and running within 9 days of ordering them. The whole process took place from my couch, in my pj's and with very friendly/helpful service. The delivery team kept us thoroghly informed by texting us a 4 hour window the day before delivery, sending a text morning of delivery letting us know we were stop 7 for the day and providing a link you could visit at any time to see where the drivers were on their route amd what stop they were on. We then got a text saying that stop 6 had been completed and the drivers were on their way with our delivery PLUS a personal phone call from the delivery team letting us know they were on the way, would be there in 20 minutes, confirming our address, and what we were expecting in our delivery. When the team arrived, they were very professional, went above and beyond in making sure everything was set up to our satisfaction. I couldn't be more satisfied with the products and services I received from Big Sandy's!! The only way it would have been better is if it would have been for free!! Thank you!! read more

I purchased an entire kitchen appliance package from Big Sandy. Not even three months of having our refrigerator, it stopped working. We called Big Sandy and had a repair person out quickly. He said it was a bad computer board and that a part would be ordered and repaired in a week. It has now been a month and we still do not have a working refrigerator. I have called every week and was passed from one customer service representative to another. I discovered the part was not even ordered until a week and a half after the repair person was over. I was told the order had to be "approved" first. Then, I was told that the part was on order from the company and they would let me know when the part came in. Two weeks later, nothing. No CALL just to even tell me they are working on it. I called again today and still no part or a time frame as to when I will have a working refrigerator. I was only given, "I will send a message to the parts department." POOR, POOR, POOR customer service. Completely unacceptable even during these difficult times. The store needs to invest in a relations person that will monitor the progress of the repair ticket and work for the customer to make sure it is completed in a reasonable time. I should not have to keep calling only to be told a message will be sent and you will hear from someone soon. BTW: you will never hear from anyone! read more

We visited several competitors in the area and we were already frustrated with the selection we had suffered, so we decided to try Big Sandy. We had already seen dozens of the typical La-Z-Boy type chairs that look like they were made with pillows and sandbags and whatever leftover fabric 1970s cruise ships had discarded. Big Sandy still has those, as does everyone, but they are just not for us. The selection ended up being much better, and a lot of the furniture has been in lines they've consistently carried for years, which made me feel better about buying two (2) leather chairs. The floor model was probably pre-covid, and while we were there, multiple people used it to sit while reviewing their orders, and taking the daily use we had observed, it had held up really well! We were not against purchasing a floor model, and we came across several in great shape, but we needed a matching pair, so we ordered them in the color we preferred. Ours were made 100% in America and in stock (we didn't expect that) so we got them in under a week. Delivery was extremely friendly and efficient. I've purchased two refrigerators from them as well, and I always recommend them. read more

Barb Y. We made our first purchase from "Big Sandys", Dublin, Ohio location and we were very pleased. I was greeted by a salesman in the appliance department quickly. He patiently listened to my telling him what I was looking for, and what features I wanted. Within minutes, I was in front of the washer & dryer set that met my needs. Although he showed me other models so I was able to compare features and pricing, he nailed the landing with the first set he took me to. He paid attention to what I had told him when we first met. Our washer & dryer were delivered within days, and the delivery team was quick and efficient. They removed our old set, gave me a few minutes to clean the debris that was living under the old set, and then they placed our purchase in their proper location and hooked up everything. The young men on the delivery team were polite and pleasant. I had previously heard some negative feedback regarding Big Sandy's, which meant they were not the first store I visited in search of my new appliances. I have to state that our experience was very positive. I will go back to Big Sandy's first for my next major purchase in the future. read more

I was in the market for a new fridge and decided to go to Big Sandy because I had two good experiences in the past (washer/dryer and mattress) and liked their financing (Bug Sandy credit card with no interest if paid off within a year). The whole experience was great, from working with Martin, my sales associate, to delivery with Jeremy and Don. Unfortunately the model I picked initially was too big, but Jeremy and Don are pros and knew it wouldn't work right off the bat, and I immediately went back to Martin to find a suitable alternative. I wasn't charged any extra for the mistake, and had my new fridge just two weekends after the initial anticipated delivery - and that was with an out-of-stock model! When Jeremy and Don came back to deliver, they were fast, efficient, polite, and careful with my new appliance. They remembered me from their earlier visit and helped reassure me that while I didn't wind up with my first choice, the fridge I got will be perfect for me and the space. My next appliance and likely upcoming couch purchases will all be with Big Sandy Dublin! read more

I gave my sectional to my son who was moving out. I purchased my sectional from Big Sandy, 5 years ago and I loved it. Something that Big Sandy needs to advertise, is the number of fabrics and patterns you allow customers to choose from. No other store gives you the selection, Big Sandy gives. I literally said, "I want my sectional to match my dog, Tucker. And I found a fabric that was soft and matched my dog, so I did not see his hair all the time! But I was tired of a large sectional taking up so much room in my great room and cleaning it from dog hair. I decided to get a Catnapper Italian Leather Reclining Sofa. I was able to get it on sale, half price promo! They delivered it today, and they did a great job bringing it in, wearing masks and putting it where I wanted and plugging it in and testing that the reclining mechanism worked before leaving my home. The delivery men were very professtional and friendly. I love my sofa and so does Tucker! Thank you! I love looking around Big Sandy store and getting such wonderful decorating ideas! This was my second visit to Big Sandy's in a month. I needed a couch. Both times the service was really amazing. Griffin greeted us the first time and Jesse the second time. Both gentlemen were not only helpful and knowledgeable but genuinely kind and a pleasure to work with to find what I needed. Once I found the perfect couch Laura and Anni went above and beyond to help make it happen. Both Gems of people and employees! And Scott the bed is awesome and the pillows are very special!! I would also like to say that both times the men who delivered the furniture were polite, efficient and truly worked hard and handled everything with care and respect. my husband and I went into the store just to browse for a couch to replace the one that could not fit in our basement. We worked with Travis, the manager of the big Sandy store in Dublin and he was amazing! I really appreciated that he didn't hover over us while we looked, only checked in periodically and answered all of the questions that we had and offered a Great solution to our problem which is how we ended up with the couch lol We went from the non-reclining to reclining side of the store and found a recliner for a great price AND that came apart but when Travis went to check in the back to see how many were in stock he found out that the item was discontinued. HOWEVER, he was able to give us a sizable discount on the floor model couch which had no damage on it and we were able to get it delivered that same week. The delivery service was outstanding! The two gentlemen that brought in our couch took such great care and did it in a swift time! We are so appreciative of everyone included in this review. 10/10 experience read more

Four years ago I would never have thought Big Sandy would be my go to store for appliances, but circumstances beyond my control (Covid) led me there in November 2020 when my refrigerator died 4 days before Thanksgiving and supplies were so limited. But Big Sandy had several options for the size refrigerator I needed and delivered it in 2 days! Impressive. A year ago I needed to replace the dishwasher and Big Sandy had exactly what I wanted. Fast forward to now: the washing machine wouldn't run a complete cycle and it and the dryer were old enough to not repair so I went back to Big Sandy looking for a Speed Queen, which they had. But the size of the tub was shockingly small - what a disappointment - and the experienced salesman directed me to a couple of options. I selected what I wanted and in 3 days they were delivered. This store covers all options: low cost for those who need it and high end for those who can afford them. The sales staff have been great and the delivery is exceptional. read more
