I ordered two couches and four chairs along with an ottoman in mid-September for delivery, October 5. I spent what for me is q large amount of money on furniture because I am establishing a new home. One would think this would get me white glove service. One of the chairs arrived broken. The delivery guy convinced me to not send it back and have it repaired. Communication has been terrible. My gf and I had come in a couple times eyeing a couch and finally sat down with someone to talk about pricing. We were really impressed at how much they were able help with pricing and financing. Only hiccup was when they said they could have it mostly delivered in 4 days, we were happy, but were told it could be 3 weeks for the final corner. Once we left the store our sales rep texted to tell us they found the corner and it would be with the delivery. Unfortunately, the delivery order did not get updated and the corner wasn't there, but they got it here 3 days later! Extremely happy with our purchase and this couch is sooo comfy. Also as soon as you speak to the service department which anything bout there will require service the store will no longer speak to you. I'm going to start out by saying that were super impressed with the selection, styles, prices, and quality of the products that Big Sandy had in the store. Our salesman Griffin was great to work with and informative on the items. Our issue was with the how quickly the sofa we purchased began to break down. It was one of their top tier sofas in the quality ratings. The sofa cushions began breaking down and flattening out within a couple of weeks. I contacted the store and they sent a repairman out and he ordered what was supposed to be an undated cushion. It took a couple of months to even get them back to us and when the repairman took the wrapping off of them he said it was the same thing as before. I kept calling the Big Sandy Superstore trying to get the situation resolved because no sofa should be doing this so rapidly. Finally after many phone calls and a trip in person to the store we were able to use our protection plus plan to exchange the sofa for another one. It took 7 months but we got the new, hopefully better sofa delivered today. The delivery guys were very friendly, careful of our belongings, and did a fantastic job. Big Sandy has a great selection of furniture and accessories but I'm not sure if we will go back. Trying to resolve an issue with them was frustrating and the extended wait time for delivery on items is way too long. The delivery guys made up for the frustrating part of this. Horrible customer service. Store tried to blame me for their own error and lack of internal communication. Ordered and paid for, in full, a full bedroom set. Received an email stating when the deliver would be made. No one bothered to contact me that the delivery wasn't going to happen or that, even though they ran my card at the time of purchase, that there was some sort of error and the invoice wasn't paid. They had the audacity to try to blame me; berate me for being upset that they didn't communicate with me; tried to blame the sales rep but yet said they don't look at invoices everyday (why would they look at an invoice they thought was paid!); and refused to acknowledge any short comings in their own process and internal communication that could have prevented the entire issue. Because they refused to work with me to get me any viable solution so that I could quickly get my order they have lost my business. Will never shop here again and recommend that if you want to work with people that actually care about their customers you do not either. read more

BIG! SANDY! SUPERSTORE!!!! You can hear the big, Paul Bunyanesque, barbaric croon in your head from just reading the name--that's how strong an impression the commercial makes. At least for me. But I have never been to the superstore until a few weeks ago. Wow! The commercial isn't the only thing about Big Sandy that makes an impression. Impression uno: the place is a high ceiling cathedral wide with space decked with furniture galore. It is dressed awesomely, with displays, vignettes, and showcases that are near works of art. Beautiful, sparkling, with added wall paper scenes creates narratives, settings, and imaginative ideas. It reminds me of one of my favorite home decor stores of the past, the defunct Polaris anchor The Great Indoors. Impression dos: there was like no customers. In the huge city-block of a store down in the empty environs back near the movie theatre behind Germaine Honda in an area I have called the Dublin Doldrums (AKA Dublin Town Center) there was me, a couple filling out paper work, and maybe one others. The staff was few too. Echo, echo, echo. You could feel a draft. This doesn't bode well for the store. Are they suffering for business or did I come at a slow time? Impression tres: there's plenty of great products and choices here. Where they are quality wise is above mid range like Ashley Furniture but below high end like Restoration Hardware. But there's the rub: that area of hierarchy prices out the middle class but is not high enough for the upper crust. Though, for some there are some nice stuff here. A look see can last a couple hours. A fun walk through but it may not be positioned for your budget or taste. read more

Started with excellent service at the store and then we set up a delivery time for a few days later. Was contacted the day before to inform me of my delivery the next day. Then received info and time frame for delivery. You can watch the delivery truck on map at real time, very helpful! We purchased a refrigerator from BS the beginning of June 2024. After it was delivered we opened the refrigerator and there inside was a package of luncheon meat dated March 2024 . When we went back to the Dublin location we asked for a Manger . Some rude woman at the front said she was a manger and but we said we wanted The person in charge... THE manager. We proceeded to tell her that the fridge smelled horrid and we wanted another. She said to go look for a replacement. While we were looking unassisted for another fridge it was there we overheard the rude lady and The manger who just happen to show up ...make fun of us ridiculing us about asking for THE manager. Regarding the horrendous experience we had with Big Sandy's Superstore that resulted in significant damage to our house. We had ordered a fridge to be installed as well as a new water line. The installation team at 1st and Long Logistics (Big Sandy's Superstore contractor) that came out were incredibly rude to me, however, this doesn't come close to anything that comes next. They completely botched the fridge "install," if you can even call it that. They pulled my old fridge out, disconnected the water line, and the electric. Mike, the owner of 1st and Long Logistics, then claimed Big Sandy's gave the installers the incorrect invoice and didnt have all the parts they needed. After calling into Big Sandy's myself, they stated that the invoice had the water line on it and then said would have someone out the next day to finish the job. Since the installers had the incorrect invoice, WHY would the fridge even come off the truck without checking for the correct items for installation!? FURTHERMORE, why was my old fridge then uninstalled and moved to the middle of the kitchen? They just left both refrigerators disconnected in the middle of the kitchen. Another kicker?? They forged my boyfriend's signature for "acceptance of delivery," which is fraud. Being human and also having a dog. We needed water. After he left, I needed to use the water in another part of the house so I turned it back on. I had no idea that he left the water line disconnected and didnt close the valve. He said absolutely nothing about the water line being disconnected. Why would they be so incompetent or inconsiderate to expect us to not have water for at least 24 hours??? Oh, it gets ever better! After about an hour of working in my office on the other side of the house, I decided to go to the kitchen to be met with a soaked floor and water pouring out of the unhooked, uncapped water line. Our basement was drenched and the ceiling at one point was a waterfall. It was literally a disaster. At first, Big Sandy's Corporate Office accepted responsibility for the damages to our house. On August 29th, Erica at corporate stated that the refrigerator should have never been taken off the truck, that she saw the invoice with the water line, and that we should not be in this situation. She then stated to send the invoice to deliverydamage@bigsandyssuperstore.com, and attention to Rose. Fast forward to today, after finding out that it will be several thousand dollars to repair, they have gone back against their word and now are attempting to deny responsibility. Erica stated, "Rose probably won't even look at the claim. It's on the homeowner." You've got to be joking... At this point, we need to spread awareness. We know Big Sandy's and their contractors at 1st and Long Logistics will not respond to this and will actively ignore it. We will see them in court with our insurance company. Please share, share, SHARE! After this horrendous experience, we have learned that Big Sandy's has many negative/pending claims filed against them. It's time that somebody steps up and takes responsibility. We have tried to go through the proper channels, contacting several people in various corporate positions to no avail. I bought a Dacor induction stove top and downdraft in March 2022. Less than 2 years later, I had to replace the glass cooktop for $818.00 . The downdraft, which I probably only use once a month, quit working and the repair was quoted for over $558. I will never shop at Big Sandy again. Definitely do not buy Dacor appliances. read more

This is the experience of my mother in law with Big Sandy in Dublin, Ohio. When they first installed the dishwasher, they didn't do it properly and it was sticking out. After many attempts to reach someone and no calls back, she finally got someone out to fix it a couple weeks later. When pushing the dishwasher back in, they shoved it soars they broke the frame and seal and LEFT. She saw the damage when she went to put dishes in. She called again, multiple times. After a week of waiting and calling, she got a call back and they said she was on the schedule for that Thursday with a time-frame of 12 to 4. Thursday at 4pm came and went. She called, they "forgot" to schedule someone to come out. Someone came out later who was not scheduled, so they came unprepared for the repair. He looked at the dishwasher and stated that it was damaged too badly to be fixed. She would need a new one. She called Big Sandy the next day to get someone to come out, uninstall the dishwasher and give her a refund. Again, this was another game of waiting and not hearing back. When she finally was able to speak with someone, they stated her money would be refunded and someone would he out on Friday of that week to remove the dishwasher.That was 1.5 weeks ago and the dishwasher is still sitting in her kitchen, unable to be used and postponing her Lowes install. She called AGAIN this morning to see when they would be out to get their dishwasher. They say this Friday, but we will see. The worst customer service I have ever witnessed read more

Loved this store. Till I actually needed to use the warranty on my LG 55C7. I bought it in 2018 with the 5yr warranty which was sold to me as covering anything (my fault for not reading the fine print). Got approved for finance for the tv and the warranty out the door. Dec of 2022 comes and we notice discoloration on the screen. Call it in and sent pics via text to the tech. They come out, say it's a video board because of a known problem and order one. 2 weeks later they come out and install it and it doesn't fix the problem. They call LG (apparently their warranty is only an extension of the MFG warranty) and LG states "that is burn in caused by Apple TV". I ask if that's an official statement that Apple TV cannot be used with LG OLED TVs and they say "we aren't saying that" I call customer service and I'm then informed that they will get back with me. 2 weeks later I have to call and they say my warranty was return after I bought the tv by the local dublin store because financing was declined for that amount. The gentlemen this time was very nice and sent an email to corp and said "I will CC myself on this email to make sure I follow up" 2 weeks later I have to follow up and get the same run around. Someone from higher up gets on the line and say again that I had the warranty refunded and it isn't valid. I send PROOF that I paid for the warranty and if I was told it was refunded why would I continue to waste my time. They state they are sending a note to the local dublin store to find out what happened (the warranty was returned as an item and not a refund as I was told on my last call). They also could not confirm that Apple TV cannot be used with LG OLED. This is concerning because I just bought the LG 65C2 with the warranty while I waited for my C7 to be fixed under warranty. I now sit again with no follow up. No resolution and certainly no attempt to keep my business. My parents also bought a C2 with the warranty a month before myself. Heck my wife and I almost bought a king size mattress set there the day we bought the tv. I loved going here. It wasn't crowded and super helpful team members. But this is the absolute worst customer service I've ever had. And I work in customer service! Still waiting for a resolution. I'll also be contacting LG to see if they would like to officially make a statement that Apple TV CANNOT be used with their OLED TVs. My Apple TV settings : 4k SDR 60hz with frame and content matching on and screen saver on at 2min. That is the only thing we have ever watched since we bought the tv. read more
