Half eaten before I thought to take a picture. Beef basil Thai fried rice

So this is another food cart at The Barn at Hickory Station. As my partner eats at only one cart (due to her gluten free needs), I'm working my way through all the others to see which one I like best. This time I tried Big Sisters Thai Kitchen. Honestly, it was neither great nor bad. I opted for the Basil and Beef Fried Rice. I got what I ordered. It was somewhat spicy, but not overly. I prefer heavily spiced food, but I the heat level was probably appropriate for the primary influx of people. I did ask for it to be Extra Hot, though. I also realize that businesses who use heat will often times downplay their heat level because of being burned (pardon the pun) by customers who demand hot foot but then complain that it's "too hot." The food was as advertised; it was basil and beef Thai fried rice. I didn't find anything particularly special about it, but it was hot (temperature wise) and there was a lot of it. There was plenty of cilantro and basil, to cut through any of the spicy heat, and there was a good amount of beef. You're able to customize your protein choice here: chicken and tofu are included in the base price, but beef and shrimp are available for a surplus cost. All in all I got what I paid for and wasn't disappointed. I wasn't super excited either. I'd definitely come back here if I had a desire for fried rice, but I wouldn't necessarily see myself coming here specifically to eat at this food cart.

Great costumer service! I love love their creemcheese ragoon. Then only think you should be aware is be careful when you ask for "spicy" because spicy means it on another level! Lol i got lvl 3 spicy and man that had me crying lol. But the food is worth it!!

Food was great! Very fresh and flavorful. Freshly cooked to order. The prices were a bit high but i think it was average.

If you have never had a Korean Corn Dog (KCD), this is the place to change that. The last few years…read morehave seen an influx of food trucks doing Korean Friend Chicken. Few of those trucks do the dogs but at Clucking Dog you get the best of both these worlds. At first blush, the KCD is a corn dog who has been working out. Bigger than the traditional American State Fair fried food favorite, KCDs are distinct with the core potentially being cheese versus a beef dog. The differences do not stop there. Batters are commonly potato and, a first for me, Ramen!!!. Then there's the outside. My favorite is the brightly hued, orange dusted exterior, perfect for an Oregon State Beaver-lover to wave. This cheeto-dust helps add another snack favorite to the mix. We went with the all cheese, Ramen, and cheetos dusted treat. Our KCD was perfectly done. The crunch of the outside gives way to the warm ooze of the cheese. The temperature was just right allowing the elasticity of the cheese to stretch and give, expanding to a near two foot long tightrope from mouth to bitten dog. This was a tasty dog and was better than the KCDs I have had in Los Angeles. Do not forgot to add KFC to the mix. The chicken (I had the 5 piece) was a perfect balance to the dog. Once more, it was some of the best KFC I have eaten. Crunch or the outside, tender meat on the inside coming easily of the bone, the juices trapped in the crust waiting to be released on your bite. As a savory lover, the garlic breath was the right sauce, soy, sweet, garlic, brushed on to not drown but highlight the crunch and flavor of chicken.

Waited 45 min for our order and got a doughy corndog. One young kid was trying his best to do it…read moreall alone. Not fair to him. The fried chicken was good though.
