Disappointingly, by noon, I had not received any communication from the company. At 2 pm, a salesman arrived and introduced himself. I informed him of the 10 am appointment time, to which he explained they were short-handed and apologized for the delay. When I questioned why I hadn't been notified of the delay, he mentioned he thought someone else would have contacted me. I then informed him that I was not interested in their services and asked him to leave my property. I share this experience in the hope that it will help others avoid wasting their time as I did.

I called the end of August and was told by Heather they aren't scheduling until mid-September for our gutter service. Still no word mid-September. Absolutely no communication from this business. My husband calls and he's given the same run around as I was in August. Mind you, they have already deposited our down payment in July. Not a word was said about them doing this or when they would be cashing it. So when I tell Heather we are taking our business elsewhere, she says there is a 10% fee for cancelling. Tanner who bid the job didn't mention this and not anywhere does it say on our bid! We attempt to reach the owner through Facebook messenger and by leaving MANY messages to return our call right away with nothing in return. I called him when I got home and he said I was lying because he showed me that it was working before he left, funny I wasn't home when he left. He then told me it was not his fault that I was too stupid to know how to open and close a window. if you have this company do your roof, make sure to have them pull the paper off the bottom edge of…read morethe roof where the ice and water shield goes. they dont do it and in order for it to work properly it needs to stick to the wood. they had an out-of-state crew do the roof on my house this summer and they did not cut the shingles at the edge of the roof going up the eave. they just ripped them off. they also broke a spotlight off the fascia and did not report it or offer to fix it. when joe from the office came to look at the handiwork he tried to play off the jagged edged shingles like there was nothing wrong with them and thats how they should be. when he saw the fascia bend and sticking out he looked at me and said, "so whats wrong with it?" they did the job in september and still havent fixed the damage. they did a poor job and i will not hire them to do any more work.

Bottom line, Swagg completed ALMOST all of the work, but my job has gone unfinished. Last June, in good faith, I paid them 1/3 of the bill for the rest of the work they had yet to complete. This includes repairing the damage done to my siding during the re-roofing process. It also includes replacing the rest of the downspouts insurance didn't cover, so everything would match. They have called a handful of times to collect the balance, and I keep asking them to finish the job, including all details as promised. To placate me, they finally sent a local gutter company over yesterday. What a waste of time. Here for less than 5 minutes and not knowing the details or history, and no desire or effort to learn, he declined the job. Here for less than 5 minutes, he didn't even care to see the whole house. I felt like he came over to report back to Swagg that there is no more to do here. He then disparaged me to the Swagg employee who pretends to help me, who then agreed with the characterization given by the sub. It is more of a collaboration between the men in order to diminish me, which gives them the right to dump me as a customer and insist the job is done. What a joke, what a racket...Swagg cashed in on the insurance, never fixed the damage made BY THEM, and still won't live up to their promises, then further offending me. I want my job done as promised; not to be relieved of what I owe them.
