Started beginner piano lessons (adult with zero experience). Scheduling the lesson was easy by submitting the form on the website followed by subsequent emails. The studio had a very relaxed atmosphere and was clean/inviting. My instructor was professional and thorough. She sent me home with resources and instrument recommendations. Nice, relaxing, supportive, and friendly environment. Spacious and well-equipped studio located near various dining/drinking establishments. The big bay window in the lobby looks out over a huge green meadow ringed by trees. The building and grounds are neat, clean, and well maintained. Big Star also boasts a diverse staff of professional musicians who teach children and adults in piano, guitar, bass, drums, etc. Or maybe you want to record your original songs or covers and/or your band needs a rehearsal space. Big Star Music Academy has some of the best artists in San Antonio who are Internationally known and intercontinentally known teaching hear. True rock stars such as Phil Salazar And Ron Jarzombek both masters at what they do and are very humble. Big Star Academy has one of the best recording and practice studios out there. I've rehearsed here and performed here and the sound quality is beyond great. Ron Jarzombek is one of my past instructors/mentors who had helped me become a multi-instrumentalists and a composer of my own music with how he teaches music and guitar theory. If it wasn't for Ron I would not be close to anything of a musician today. Phil has also been a great mentor as well encouraging me to continue in the music scene and has taught me the proper way to perform and practice. Alongside him I am reaching my potential like never before. Big Star Music Academy has other fine teachers as well as leaders. read more
