This morning I ordered two breakfast burritos without onion and I got the garlic aioli on the side. Let me start by saying the portion size was solid! The service was above and beyond. The potatoes were good and cooked well. The tortilla was nice and toasty not burnt. The egg was fluffy and good. The garlic aioli had a very unique creamy garlicky taste. They're pretty quick with orders and I understand the wait because they're obviously busy because their food is incredible but it's also fresh & hot! My fiancé and I ordered the carne asada fries for my family because my family plus the staff at Fess Parker recommended that they're the best. And I got the herbivore and my fiancé got the Noah special. So incredibly delicious! I need to know where else Big Truck Foods goes besides Fess Parker winery because I definitely need to come back. Tried this place at a festival in Solvang, initially. Loved it. When my company notified me that they'd be setting up in our parking lot every other week, I was excited. Tried them again and loved 'em just the same as before. My coworkers and I love ourselves a good food truck. When we were informed of this fun new option, we herded out to give them our business. Knowing all too well that I'd be waiting in an ample line, I hid out at my desk until a bit later in the afternoon when the queue had died down. The two women running the truck were friendly and pricing was not bad. I ordered their Ace Burger and it was very hearty and delicious. A lot of food! I ate probably half of my burger and saved the rest. With the coronavirus in effect, my company has temporarily closed its doors so we won't be able to enjoy Big Truck until we are allowed to come back. If they offered a delivery option, I'd wholeheartedly give them my business again in the near future. Thanks for the great food and service, Big Truck! read more

Yesterday was my first time trying Big Truck Foods. I ordered the patty melt. I was asked if I wanted fries and I said no thank you but he put fries in there and told me that he gave me the fries because he just couldn't give me a sandwich without fries. Great customer service and so friendly. I'm so glad he did...some of the best fries I've ever had! you can tell they were not frozen fries, delicious. The patty melt was wonderful. The menu looked very appealing. Decided to try the monster fries with a tater tot substitute. Was at the car show on Vandenberg when I ordered so I knew it might be a small wait. 15 minutes later and no food, I decided to ask how much longer did she think it would be, "7-10" minutes was the response. About 10-15 min later no food. The temperature outside was pretty warm, lots of customers waiting and not a whole lot being done. Seemed like they were underprepared with 1 cook. Finally received my meal and tater tots seemed to be left in the deep fryer a few minutes too long. It seemed like they may have bit off more than they could chew that day. As a Food Truck I think the idea is more of a wham-bam thank you ma'am type experience and this was not that. Not very impressed. read more

Just had the worst experience with Big Truck Foods at Cottonwood Canyon winery. We placed our order before 6:00 and we did not get it until 8:15. FOR A HAMBURGER AND FRIES........AND ONLY FRIES BECAUSE THEY HAD RUN OUT OF SALAD and we were one of the very first orders in after the event started. I don't care what it is or what it costs when you are hungry you go somewhere that you can expect to eat ............but the assumption is that you will be able to eat in your lifetime.
