I'm more of a cheese, sour cream, avocado taco person so I didn't get any toppings unfortunately. Overall, the food was pretty average. Just a decent Mexican meal.

I was hesitant writing this review only because I don't want to wait in 20+ people lines lol. But, the truck really deserves to be talked about.

We called Mangan food truck to ask about their catering service and were DELIGHTED to find they offered adobo, lechon kawali, pork and chicken bbq skewers, pancit, sisig, beef caldereta, kare-kare, lumpia, dinuguan, inihaw na bangus, desserts and more!! Basically everything you could think of to satisy any Filipino food cravings! Mangan arrived at the event hall promptly with over 12 trays of food to feed 100 people and everything went like clockwork! An employee stayed onsite and ensured that trays were refilled when they got low and nobody wanted for anything. We didn't have a single worry and the food was absolutely on point and consumed with great relish by Filipino food connoisseurs who are very, very VERY picky about what we eat!! Nobody walked away hungry, and even the non-Filipinos in the crowd expressed their satisfaction with their meal! There was so much food leftover we had a great after-party that night as well. The price was incredibly reasonable and the caterers were beyond polite, helpful and kind. It really was like being served by family! I love this food truck. I've seen it pass by Broadway so many times and always been tempted to try it and FINALLY got the chance when they were at the Down-Town Farmer's Market in Santa Maria and OMGosh! Everything was great, I had ordered the BullFighter, and it was spicy enough to get a kick and be like Wow but good enough to where you can still taste the flavors of the food. Great customer service, couldn't decide what kind of chips I wanted but never did I feel the rush from the guy attending the window. He was patient. This place is awesome and I can't wait to try everything off of their Menu, hopefully they keep attending the Down-Town Farmer's Market. read more

Big Truck Foods is really coming up with a unique style here. Majority of the food they have there is something I never tried. Just picture a hamburger but ten times upgraded. My favorite is the popper sandwich which is like a jalapeño popper but it's a sandwich. You have to remember though that it's not McDonald's so the food does take 7 mins to make or so. I give this company 5 stars because the customer service is great, the food quality and the price is fair. If you like trying something new and add new taste to your life then give it a try! read more

My family has had 4 different meals from Big Truck Foods this week at Lompoc Flower Festival and they have all been excellent! I've had the Monster Burger and the Ace Burger, my wife had the Monster Grill and my son had the Noah Special. Perfect fries and prices and very reasonable. I'll be following them on Facebook just so I will know where to find them! The owners or staff working there are quite friendly and willing to accommodate special orders. Food trucks, at least this one, have come a long way!!! read more

Totally a five star review! I am covering a event in Solvang California and stumbled onto this catering truck with outrageous tasting food creations. I will be returning to try more food tomorrow if they are still in Solvang. I wish I had a larger belly to try all the great sandwiches and burgers. Had them for a 50th birthday party. Despite his truck catching on fire five days prior to the event, Big Truck came through with another truck with his same menu. Love the Bullfighter Burger. Spicy and super tasty. Patties are handmade and the combos are really unusual. The burger with the fried egg is also a winner. They make a regular appearance at Core in Old Orcutt. It's a great way to grab a casual Friday night dinner. read more
