Seriously, who pays someone to clean their bins? I always assumed a quick spray with the hose was enough. I was wrong. The persistent, lingering odor, especially during the summer months was becoming unbearable, and the inside of the bins was just disgusting, coated in months of mystery sludge and grime. I decided to try Salty Clean when I saw my neighbor had called them in a panic, having found a dead RAT beside their cans in the garage, and I am so delighted I did. The professional cleaning process is clearly superior to anything I could do myself. They use high-pressure, high-temperature water and disinfectant, leaving the cans sparkling clean and properly sanitized. The experience was seamless also, the super friendly owner, Nick arrived after collection, finished quickly, and left absolutely no mess behind. This is the definition of a necessary luxury. He put in my quartz kitchen counter top, redid my kitchen plumbing, installed a new kitchen window, re drywalled various areas, and reworked my kitchen electrical! My kitchen is gorgeous! Next, we had a flood issue with our living room (built in 74...step down style). We called Edward at 6pm and he came by as we were in a panic. He got us stable and then he and his guys essentially rebuilt the side of our home (new insulation, blew out concrete, regraded side yard, re stuccoed , replaced weepscrete, replaced facia, inside dry wall etc.) and after all the heavy rains this winter we had ZERO water issues! I just had him finish my guest bathroom and once again I am very pleased with the work. It is important to note that Edward will come back out and address anything minor that you may want adjusted (he will swing by on the weekend etc). I am someone who gets multiple bids and I would say Edward isn't the most expensive or the cheapest. Bottomline if they are cheap they probably are NOT licensed and bonded. Please do yourself a favor, don't waste your breath or time calling him. He spoke to my wife to schedule an installation today at 9am. She provided our address and confirmed that if they finish the install in one day the cost would be $700 even, but if they went two days it would be $800 even. A few days ago Edward texted my wife saying he had an opening for Monday and he needed our address. My wife replied and said let's stick with Wednesday since no one would be home when they arrived. She texted Tuesday to confirm the appointment for the next day with no response. She texted this again to this morning and received a defensive response as he didn't feel like he did anything wrong. Sounds like drama, I know, but it all could have been easily avoided. He simply needed to say I'm sorry I misplaced the note where I wrote down your address. On top of this I found two other providers that have more experience that can do the install in 4 hours for $375! Another one from gorilla play sets website for $600. Both cheaper! Edward is not capable of being wrong or taking criticism. When I tried calling to figure out what was wrong he immediately called my pregnant wife unprofessional. I couldn't get in word in without him speaking over me so I can explain our experience with him. I've been fortunate to be incredibly successful by providing service that no one else can or is willing to do. This guy does the opposite. Good luck if you end up using him. On another note, I found Andy on craigslist and he's an awesome guy. Just search playground or playset install on craigslist and he's the only one that shows up for San Diego under services. He's charging me $375 and I told him what happened and he's coming out next week even though he's booked through mid August.

Drywall dust and paint were left on surfaces, trim was sloppily finished, and several areas were simply painted over instead of being properly prepped. When I raised these issues, the company refused to take responsibility, dismissed the damage, and even tried to charge me extra to clean the stains they caused. Instead of addressing the problems, they chose to argue, deflect, and ultimately threatened to file a mechanic's lien on my home -- all while the property was pending sale. To be clear: - The workmanship was subpar. - The lack of care for my property was unacceptable. - The refusal to remediate was unprofessional. - The intimidation tactics were the final red flag. I ultimately paid the invoice solely to move forward with selling my home, not because KK Coatings was in the right. I documented everything, and the record speaks for itself.
