First time doing brunch here. Very clean and and everyone was friendly. Wasn't very busy, but took over 20 minutes to get our drinks. The boozy coffee was good, and the mimosa tasted like straight prosecco. It was supposed to be cranberry, but didn't taste any cranberry. Breakfast was served quickly, we had chicken and waffles and the French toast. The chicken was dry but the french toast did taste good. Overall, I would go back, but only for lunch or dinner, not their brunch. I have the app and nobody could figure out how to add my points to my account, so lost out on that.

    The bourbon burger!!! Very good!!

Came in for a men's fellowship and I must say I was very impressed with everything. If you need a space during the week, they have a really nice room that sits at least 30 people for a private event. Our server took care of all of us and the food came out hot and fresh. My buries very good and full of flavor. We will definitely be back and make sure you stop by.

The food here was great. My husband devoured his Philly cheese sandwich. Took half of mine home! The GM was amazing came over and did and excellent job of up selling! The bartender need more training in bar etiquette but that is an easy fix! The over all vibe was chill but the bar area was very loud. We definitely will go back!!

We went for an earlish dinner since I knew this location has been open only a few weeks, though it was already filling up. We were fortunate enough to get a close parking space, and we were seated immediately in a quiet corner. The Happy Hour drink specials aren't clearly listed, but our server was great. Though the happy hour appetizers sounded tempting, we went straight for dinner. We got the Bourbon Street Burger and the Bacon Cheddar Burger. Mine was the Bourbon Cheddar Burger. I don't order burgers out much anymore, but this was pretty good; I also opted to get the Sweet Potato fries. Perhaps not the most generous portion around, but they were good. We did ask for a to-go cup (for the nonalcoholic drink), and they were happy to oblige, but they haven't gotten in their signature plastic cups yet. Service was good; specific prep changes were made, and any hiccups were quickly corrected quickly and apologetically. It was easy to pay at the table. Glad to have another Big Whiskey's closer to us.

This Big Whiskey location just recently opened up and I will say that the staff there is very attentive and nice. Even servers that weren't "assigned" to you, made sure that you were taken care of. The wait wasn't very long for a Wednesday night and the server came immediately over. The food was very tasty as we had steak and a chicken sandwich at our table. Steak was cooked and seasoned perfect and the buffalo chicken sandwich had just the right kick to it. The ambience doesn't give off a whiskey establishment (minus the barrels right at the entrance) but is nice and clean. The bar is cool with all the whiskeys backlit. I would highly recommend any whiskey drinker to go as they will have what you are looking for.

We came here excited to try it out since we like the hoover location. We waited for an hour for the worst ahi tuna I've ever had and the driest burger I've ever seen. The burger was so burnt we thought the cheese was a fried egg. They were out of mashed potatoes, buns and basically everything else. Beyond disappointing and we will not be back. The manager even came and asked how we were and basically laughed that we had been waiting and said the ahi tuna looked disgusting (not wrong).

The first time we waited around 15 minutes at a table before anyone acknowledged us, and the second time was basically the same experience sitting at the bar. Friendly service definitely wasn't the strong point here either. That said, the food honestly saved this review from being much lower. The wings had a fantastic sauce with great flavor, the fried pickles were crispy and addictive, and the fried green tomatoes were genuinely delicious with a really solid batter. Even the beers were ice cold and crisp, which fit the vibe perfectly. The biggest issue is that the pricing feels a little high for the overall experience and environment. If you're charging those kinds of prices, the cleanliness and service really need to match it better. If you're coming strictly for fried bar food and cold beer, you'll probably enjoy it. Just don't expect attentive service or a polished atmosphere.

The cook's name is Joseph and he knows how to season. My only complaint was that it's a bar at night so still smoke filled during the day. I noticed a LOT of outgoing orders. My husband couldn't smell the smoke until we got into the car together, but I have asthma, and I could. He had meatloaf with black-eyed peas and collards. No seasoning needed! And it was $7 and change-we will go back. This is my second visit. It won't be the last.

I wanted to love this place SO BAD!! There's an attached arcade!!…read moreAnd the staff was SO NICE and friendly and helpful and I loved the industrial, creative decor. But we'd spent the day at McWane Center and we were starving so we were there to EAT! The food looked gorgeous but it tasted very meh. The onion rings had too much breading on them, which I didn't think was possible, but here we are. The part of the breading next to the onion was mushy so that threw off the texture of the whole thing too. The burger was very much like a Whataburger. Even the lettuce smelled the same. I got The Standard and the bun of the burger was a little mushy (similar to Whataburger) and there was not much meat. For an $11 burger, I'm expecting more than a Whataburger. My middle kid likes everything on her burger and isn't picky at all and the loaded kid burger looked impressive but it was about the same as mine. Not awful, but not very good either. Very close to the same amount of meat. She's the queen of the Clean Plate Club and she only ate half. The fries were good but a somewhat too salty, the dip that came with the onion rings was excellent and we ended up using it for the fries. We had 2 adults and 3 kids and our meal was $63 before tip for 5 waters, 2 adult burgers, 2 kid burgers, a kid grilled cheese, and a basket of fries and onion rings (I thought I was ordering a "side" of fries, not realizing I actually ordered a basket and it was a lot of fries and onion rings). We don't mind spending money on good food, but the prices here don't align with what you get. No one was more disappointed than me, I've been wanting to eat here for FOREVER!!!

I have been here for lunch a couple of times now for The Work Week Lunch Deal - Standard Burger (or…read more6 wings), Side , Soda/Tea for $13.49. A really good deal! Seated immediately and ready to take your order as soon as you decide. The Standard Burger (Lettuce. tomato, onion, pickles, horsey sauce & american cheese) is really good. Fries are cooked just right. Previously I got a mix of the Fries and Onion Rings. Onion Rings are great too! I have had The Three Hander sandwich (Niman ranch corned beef, fries, tomato, jalapenos, creamy slaw, dijonaise, mozzarella on sourdough) from their original location which is great too. I should probably try other things as well but the lunch deal is hard to pass up. Since it is not too far from my office, will definitely continue to be a part of my regular lunch rotation. Only downside for me is the parking. There are limited spots on the street out front. Adjacent to the building there is a lot that is part of the apartment complex behind it but not really enough spaces for the 2 restaurants.

The staff was friendly and patient as I forgot my readers so a lot of questions were asked. Thank you Andreana. We had the tenderloin (which I haven't had in YEARS). I was not disappointed. We also had the southerner and it was tasty. They had a happy hour where I got a wine and husband got a frozen drink. Then round 2 I opted for the daily drink, daiquiri. Each day there is a different drink as a special. I enjoyed the music and the vibe. Would come back to this place when I'm in Birmingham again.
