How did I forget to write this review?! Because I really loved it here! A friend suggested that he buys me lunch, and I know that Friend likes to eat, so this was the best place to go ! There are not too many all you can eat restaurants, and this one is totally within reason price-wise. Additionally, I need to add some more pictures because of pictures worth 1000 words. This place is such a gem! It's cozy and straight forward. It's AYCE - you pick out the meats, veggies, noodles for the guys to cook for you. It's fun to switch up a noodle dish then a meat dish. They provide rice and these little toasted sesame bread to go with your dish. Here's the rundown: Likes - Affordable price for Ayce ($22) - Spacious with plenty comfy seating - Friendly Service from servers - Tasty flavored Iced teas (was told it was brewed fresh and the peach/passion fruit syrups were good) - fresh sesame bread came piping hot every time Dislikes - Beef meat was tough like jerky. Maybe because it was thin and combined with raw veggies that take longer to cook. If I had to do it over I would cook meats separately from other ingredients and request medium rare. - boba bad texture not good (1/5) - near closing time they started mopping area with bleach which is not healthy to breath (they should use natural less invasive cleaning solutions or wait until customers leave). - white rice was too hard - unfriendly cooks - no fruits or free desserts Overall there is room for improvement. 3 stars as it stands. read more

Come hungry, and leave overly full! This is an AYCE Mongolian BBQ, which means you don't have to testris and smash your bowl, although you're probably gonna do it anyway. The line for the grill can get long, but it moves at a decent pace. Arriving in between regular meal times would be smart. I can't believe I have never left a review here. We have been going here for so many years, I want to say 2019. We do a lot of family dinners here with 30-60 people. It's a great spot to just pay one price and let people creat their own flavors. I went to Big Wok Mongolian BBQ for the first time on Sunday, and overall the food was amazing. I really loved how many options they had -- so many fresh ingredients, sauces, and combinations to choose from. It was fun building my own bowl, and everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and high quality. One thing I actually appreciate is their policy about you won't get charged extra, if you don't finish your food. The only downside -- and what made the experience a little frustrating -- was the service. There were basically only two servers working the entire restaurant, and they looked completely overwhelmed because it was so busy. Our drinks were delayed, and it was hard to get help when we needed it. I'm honestly not sure why it would be so understaffed on a Sunday, especially when it seemed like a peak time. That said, the food and quality were seriously impressive. I'll definitely be coming back for the amazing flavors and variety -- but I do hope the service situation improves next time. read more

Big Wok is an AYCE all you can eat restaurant. Prices are very affordable. Pretty good selection of food options, chicken, pork, beef, lamb. Shrimp is available on holidays, weekends, and dinner. They had a good selection of fresh greens, vegetables, tofu, pineapple, noodles, etc... you can add to your plate. They cook everything in front of you on a big wok. Sides of fried or white rice included. Though they didn't appear to have any deserts. They have a good amount of booths and tables large enough for groups. Service was friendly. Tried to order takeout, they weigh your plate to charge you, which is fine. Minimum weight/charge is up to 1.5 lbs for $17, max is 3 lbs for less than double that. When we went to pay for both of our plates which were less than 1.5lbs each, they tried to charge us for FOUR SEPARATE $17, 1.5 lbs plates, so $68 for 6 lbs of food total, even though we only had less than 3 lbs of food total ($34). When we asked why they said it was because we used two bowls to make each plate, but when we walked in we asked them if they still do things by weight and they said yes. We used two bowls to make the plates because we were holding our infant baby and we couldn't sit there trying to balance these super tall plates and we didn't want to hold up the line. It seems idea behind the one bowl policy is to stop people from making really really large plates that are 3 pounds and splitting it with multiple people. However to combat that they instead made a person who made an only 1.5 pound plate pay more than they would've charged someone who made a 3 pound plate. It literally makes no sense. Also, the policy the incentivizes people to sit there and play Tetris with a bowl and hold up the entire line while trying to cram as much food as they can into it while dropping food everywhere. It's a very stupid policy and even dumber were the workers for not being able to read between the lines and see that we both just wanted to make normal meals while holding our baby instead of gaming the system. We left and got food elsewhere, these guys are whackos. read more

The food bar was stocked very well and easy to follow instructions were posted for those who have never been or need suggestions. The prices are great! I believe its $20 for lunch and $30 for dinner. Growing up, loving to eat at Genghis Khan in my local mall..those who know what I mean, knows wassup lol ~ this place brought back a lil bit of nostalgia to my taste buds. The counters, the ingredient stations, even the grill area looked super fresh and well taken care of, which made the whole meal feel even better. The ingredients were crisp, colorful, and really fresh. You can pile up your bowl any way you want and the flavors come out so good once they grill it. Came here on a Friday around 5:30pm and it wasn't too busy at first, but by the time we left, there was a decent wait outside. This place is all-you-can-eat Mongolian BBQ, like the kind you'd see at a mall food court. You build your own bowl with meats, veggies, noodles, and sauces, then hand it off to the staff who cook it on a big round grill. The line to get your food cooked can take a while, especially when big groups come in. There's only one grill, so even though there were about four workers moving quickly, we still waited a bit. They do scrape and clean the grill pretty often, which we appreciated. We ended up paying $47.39 after tax for two people for dinner, which felt fair for AYCE. I'd recommend going for at least 2-3 bowls to get your money's worth. They also offer egg drop soup, rice, and sesame bread on the side -- a nice bonus, though I do wish there were a few more options overall. Only real downside was the wait for the grill, and we did notice some cross-contamination -- a few mystery veggies made their way into our bowls. Not a huge deal, but something to keep in mind. So if you are into AYCE then you might love how you can stuff your face here. Given that we are eating healthfully these days, we didn't value that as much and would have preferred to pay by the bowl. The noodles tasted like spaghetti - not the thinner noodles or udon that typically is served. I appreciated the cleanliness, with the gloves for handling the serving. Since it is AYCE, you don't need to fill up the bowl to stack as an art form since you can return for seconds assuming you are willing to wait in line again. They did have multiple chefs each cooking one meal at a time so that flowed better and was less chaotic. However, they cook with a good amount of oil, heavy style - so be prepared if you eat clean. I had mistakenly thought since it was grilled on the wok that would be a lighter meal and I could just do protein and veggies but it was greasier than I like. They state that you must finish everything you take and it was hard to finish my one small plate because of the oil. Included in the price is a white rice bowl, and a pastry puff bread roll. They have nice disposable paper placements with the Chinese zodiac signs for each year which my kids found fun. Thankfully my husband and I were signs that were listed as compatible - whew, haha that could have been an awkward dinner conversation. They had high chairs which is always helpful.
