My experience at eating at Mr. Wok. First impression, the place is clean. I feel that I was the first customer that day and it had been freshly cleaned before opening. Atmosphere: 4 Stars. For what it was, it was clean. The mirrors on the wall visually created the idea of more space. The food looked fresh. Security was good. Service: 4 Stars the asian attendant was competent. I feel that her English language skills were a work in progress but it was functional. Quality: 3 Stars. It is cheap chinese food. I came there for I came there for it. I prefer the rice to the noodles but to each their own. The food was FRESH. A bit oily in its textures. I was neither disappointed or impressed, except for the freshness of it all. Value: 4 Stars. I felt that the dollar per calorie ratio was good. I paid $10.34 for a one item meal (according to their menu) that filled me up and left me with a small cup of leftovers. It was carbs and oil. Walked in and saw three "grumpy cats", one using a cell phone. No one looked up.! Then the man that helped me couldn't answer my question. He didn't speak any English. I've been coming here A long time and I still think the food is good but has diminished in quality over the years. The only thing making me come back is the fried noodles they are delicious. I don't recommend the orange chicken because before it used to be crunchy and juicy but now it's stale and drowned in sauce with 2/3 of the chicken pieces being breading. Depending when you go, sometimes the BBQ pork is juicy but most of the time its stale and dry. It's sad to see this places quality go down and I wish they would do something about it read more

I really like this place, big food portions. Orange chicken is excellent. They are quick to make quart and pint size orders. It's your typical fast food dining area with a few tables. They are set up inside kinda like Panda Express. I ordered a 2 item entree. The Orange Chicken was good, lots of broccoli in the Beef and Broccoli. I got 1/2 fried rice and 1/2 noodles. They are very generous with their portions. The fried rice and egg flower soup I tried were a bit too salty for me and why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. I hope they cut back on the salt. I miss the walk up Chinese fast food restaurants where I can see the orange chicken and rice steaming up from the hot metal tins....this is Mr. Wok. It's your typical walk in-but this is homey Chinese food. The kind where you say "2 choice with half and half, orange chicken and bbq beef with extra sauce"....and then they over stuff the small styrofoam container....that's my type of place. They do a great job of making sure it's welcoming. Second, all of the food is always super fresh and delicious. The ambiance is simple and impressively clean...I have been to quite a few mom and pop shops and have never seen one this sparkling. As for the food they give very large portions even if in a smaller food serving container. The friend rice run of the mill, the lo mein noodles were soft as well as satisfying (much more than the P. EXPRESS), the veggies well sauteed, and as for the bbq pork...well some was overcooked and dry and some were more tender. They don't ridiculously overload the to-go box like some other places but I don't mind; personally, I don't want my entrees mixing and spilling out the container anyway.
