A fan f'sho! I needed to find some sequined ivory cloth so I could cover the sweethart table for my wedding. I was looking for some cloths but sequined ones can get SUPER expensive! Up to like $40 per yard. For mine I realized I would need around 3.34 which could be like $120. I was looking online and found Big Z fabric, they're more of an online business but luckily they're around DTLA and you can walk in and get fabric. Just make sure to call ahead to see if they have it in stock at their LA warehouse. Their address is correct and near Santee alley, they're in the same building as coffee bean. The building entrances is around the corner of coffee bean and you can take the elevator up. There's street parking at $4 per hour. Super expensive :( but I just paid for half an hour and went up to their suite. It's truly a warehouse with no frills but they were friendly and helpful. Best of all, I could pick up immediately during business hours and paid cash for 3.5 yards at only $9.50 per yard. Try to take smaller bills to pay! Overall, would highly recommend. read more

Got fabric with holes in they will not resolve the issue. Making it sound like I damaged the fabric and there no way it came damaged. When I took it out of the box with holes in fabric. Very disappointing. read more

I ordered fabric from this place the color I picked was a copper color on their site the color I received was orange not even close to the color on the site. I emailed them they came back with there are slight variations in color but that the color I was sent is the correct color. My only option would be pay restocking fee and pay for shipping back. I called talked with a manager and his best solution was was the restocking fee but I still have to pay for shipping both ways and I would have to buy a different color and pay for that shipping the shipping was 88.00 each way. That's not good customer service. I can understand a slight color difference but the difference is not slight. Horrible experience. read more

Service is horrible had 1 good shipment fabric is good quality then when problems arose second shipment which never even made it to my town it shipped back to them fine things happen but no resolve ive been waiting over a month!!! Almost 400.00 not refunded or anything tracking proves this was never sent to me and it was returned to shipper i dont know what the hold up is cant get a responce now i have to esclate it with the bank instead. read more

I bought some waxed canvas which had a horrible chemical odor and the smell was not mitigated by what the owner of Big Z said for me to do which was to leave the canvas out overnight. I left it out for three days and the smell is still overpowering. I called several times asking for help with this, and they always said they would call back but never did. In the end, they refused a return because it was outside the return window. This fabric is going in the trash because the smell is overpowering. read more

The fabric always comes in quickly and never disappoints. This place it the best source for any project to finding that special item nobody else seems to have. If family owned and operated so the service and knowledge they have is amazing.
