This is a small shop chock full of stuff for crafters. The owner has been there for 35 years and I don't think a lot has changed. It's a small, family-run, local business, so it's much more deserving of our business than Amazon or Michaels. Prices are good, too. I will say this, though. The owner's son is there full-time, so we see him enough. He's always been professional and helpful, just a bit cold. But I just noticed today that he's so warm to virtually everyone else who walks in the door, and has conversations with them! When we walk in, he does not greet us and will not speak to us unless we directly ask him something. We're not loud or demanding, I just get the sense that he does not like us. I still highly recommend this local business. I'm just saying, if you feel a difference in treatment from your fellow shoppers from the son, just know that you are not alone. read more

This is a family own business with a lot of great fabric selections. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They are willing to try to order a certain fabric for you from their buyers if available. Their prices are very reasonable also. Since Joann's closed this is one of my to go stores for my fabric purchases. read more

Lots of fabric, great service and very organized inside. They have a pretty good supply of fabrics, zippers, and whatnot. I parked nearby. There was a free 2 hour public parking lot nearby if you are unable to find street parking right in front. Just keep in mind they will charge .75 for card charges. read more

Let me tell you this place has everything, I believe I like it even more because they are very organized and clean. That's a major plus for me. I have never been to a fabric store in my life and I came here in desperation needing to find a fabric to match my bridesmaid dress that needs to be altered. This place doesn't have an insanely large selection of cotton fabrics to choose from, but they've got a decent size. And they're great fabrics. Nothing too tacky, and you'd find something to use on any of their projects. They've got a selection of silk/satin/fleece fabrics, however, I didn't look at those. They sell their thread at an incredibly affordable price. And the prices on fabric are amazing as well. I think I may have found a favorite store. read more

Great little gem in my neighborhood! This store was literally in my back door and I didn't know it. It's like a mini Michael's for sewing, crochet, and arts and crafts. A lady teaches ribbon embroidery on Fridays from 11 - 1. We pay $5. Other classes such as knitting and crochet are also offered during the week. Great place to relax atleast once a week. The only thing is that class are in Spanish but it's ok anyone can understand demonstrations. read more

Interfacing Rick rack notions. Lower quality fabrics. Helpful and very sweet Service. Kind of a hidden in plain site place. The fabrics are lower quality and wrapped in plastic so it looks like they don't sell much. The Rick rack is priced from the 90s $1.50 a pack. Great selection of notions like I haven't seen in years. This is my childhood fabric store. My mom's a teacher so she always came here for her glue sticks, felt, fabrics, and whatnot. This place isn't any Jo Ann's size, just the basics in a small store. The ladies here are nice and helpful. If you need a seamstress they can recommend some to you. They have a discount bin in the back that I love to look through. I enjoy patronizing small / main street businesses because 1) it keeps the town alive; 2) the owners & staff usually know their stuff; 3) you usually get a level of customer service you don't get in big box or chain stores. That being said, I extremely disappointed in a recent purchase made in this store. I went in asking for strap material to replace a handstrap on a backpack. They pulled what they stated was replacement strapping, so I requested a yard. I finally got around to replacing the strap on the backpack & used the viable ends of the original strap to anchor the replacement to. I was in shock that by the end of the same day the replacement strapping was already shredded and ready to break! read more

Cute fabric and yarn store that's got an amazing selection and supply despite its relatively small size. Well organized so you can find what you need relatively quickly yet so many cute things to browse through and get creative. Lots of people there buying stuff for Halloween costumes. We popped in just before closing but the store stayed opened to help the many customers that were still there. There was only one salesperson and she was very patient and helpful despite the number of customers. I imagine if I were in a rush, I might've had a different perspective. I'd definitely go again and given the convenient location and prefer this to something like Joanne's Fabrics or Michael's. read more

So first off: The owner man is the sweetest ever! Very courteous and was able to help me find any print I was interested in. The prices are about the same you would find at Joann's ($12/yard for cotton) which is pricy compared to the surrounding shops, but the prints they have are beautiful, prints you wouldn't find at chain stores. You definitely can't beat the customer service and selection. read more
