I'm very upset about the service I received. I've order buffalo party wings in the past and they were a good size not too small not extremely large. Yesterday, I decided to order the party wings after ordering them previously on Saturday the day before Father's Day which that day I was satisfied with my wings. Now Tuesday, total different experience I asked for my wings fried hard which they were not. They were chewy/gummy. The wings were huge. Not the same size as they were Saturday and this time I order 20 the first time I order 6. I called in to inform them about my previous experience compared to today. All he could tell me was this was out of his hands. They have jumbo party wings which I never heard of. I asked could I bring the wings back maybe he could fry some smaller pieces for me. Because when I order Saturday and in the past I never received such giant party wings. Which are not appetizing to me at all. Without any hesitation he quickly replied there's nothing he could do about it. It was a different box. I decided to come take a look at the reviews and I see if some ppl were not satisfied with their experience to reach out so it could be corrected. Ive been coming to big city for years since the first location and I travel a far distance so I know these party wings were not the usual. Very disappointed. We ordered the 25 wings and gyro fries, and everything was incredibly fresh. The wings were a great size, cooked perfectly, and they didn't skimp on the gyro meat for the fries, definitely worth every penny. Beyond the amazing food, the atmosphere is just as impressive. I truly appreciate seeing the owner involving his young sons or nephews in the business, teaching them the value of hard work. I got two sandwiches and an order of fries for carryout. The sandwich I got was good, and my friend enjoyed his, but neither were what we ordered. And the fries were also wrong (I ordered gyros fries and they gave me cheese fries). Why didn't I call and ask them to correct it? Because the lady at the register was rude and unfriendly and I didn't event want to bother. They charge an arm and a leg and then mess the order up. This place went downhill fast. I follow this restaurant on Instagram and it has been on my list to visit. I stopped by very hungry and decided to try it. The service was quick, restaurant clean and the staff was pleasant. I loved the Buffalo Chicken egg rolls. It was very tasty and fulfilling. I cheeses and the sauce was oozing out each bite. Based on a single visit so far, I would say that the food was very good--certainly made fresh to order! The person taking our order was neutral in tone, but quick and attentive. However, the chef (co-owner?) was particularly friendly, and wanted to make sure that we enjoyed what he had prepared. He checked in on us a few times. Granted, we were the only people in the restaurant at the time, but still... If I can offer some constructive criticism, the price is what surprised me. $17 for a foot long buffalo chicken cheesesteak seemed a bit on the pricey side, especially considering that it did not come with fries or a drink. Furthermore, with Jersey Mike's, Chipotle, and Five Guys Burgers just across the street, the proprietors of this family-run establishment may want to reconsider their pricing structure. Update and basically it's more on the service to which determines if a business is successful or not. I won't be back at this point. I called trying to place an order because the wait is long long!! I was put on hold a long time so I hung up and tried to call back several times. Busy signal for over 10min. Once I arrived the young black guy with the ponytail just blank stared me as I calmly told him he put me on hold and the phone was still off the hook. He just looked at me didn't say one word. No apology. Horrible customer service. I would have waked out but my family insisted I grab these sandwiches. So as I sit and wait for my food typing up this review. Let this be a notice to mgmt and your staff. Some of us Yelpers and I left a good one when it's done right but when it's done wrong a real Yelper will always leave a review. Like many I have been following them on Instagram for awhile and had to make a trip when I did my weekly trip to Indiana. Atmosphere was okay not to talk about. I ordered a Small Chicken Cheesesteak, Steak Eggroll and a Small Water Ice. The Chicken Cheesesteak was good and it had flavor but I did ask for no onions or bell peppers and they were on the sandwich. The Steak eggrolls were good I just would have liked a little more filling in the inside. The Water Ice I got was Strawberry and it was sweet and flavorful. not sure what Water Ice is but it is a unique taste because its not a snow ball but its not an italian ice. The cheesesteak was bomb and came with fries (might've ordered the combo). The steak is delicious and juicy even though it's the slim cut I'm used to. The cheese was melted to perfection. The bread is the more fluffy and soft variety and honestly, I don't discriminate when it comes to bread so I loved it and it was balanced perfectly with a heaping amount of steak. The egg rolls are amazing! So delicious... just the kind of finger licking food I needed. And I was shocked by the size of my husband's steak fries. Food was great! I had the six piece chicken wings with fries and a steak egg roll. The chicken was fried to order, so it was given to me hot and fresh. It was well seasoned and fried just right. The egg roll which I suspect was frozen was tasty nonetheless. The fries were nice and crunchy like I like them. The wait time was about 15 mins. Not bad for fresh fried chicken. I'll wait. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. I was next door for a work physical and decided to stop in. They made my long wait time bearable. I will return in the future.
