Phillytown, why do you keep canceling my order? I am trying to support your business by ordering from you, but this is very frustrating. Honestly, the food has not been good lately. The fries were big, soggy, and nasty. The Italian beef didn't taste right at all -- it was mostly big chunks of beef meat with no real flavor. Missed items. Philly Town is an interesting spot. A greasy spoon if you will. Everything seemed to be fried but sometimes, that is just what you need. I did get a cheesesteak and fries. It was what I was craving and it wasn't too bad. I ordered online and it was correct when I got there. I had to wait a few more minutes than the app said (typical these days) so no big deal. I don't mind waiting when it is hot. This is not the place to go if you are looking for healthy food, just comfort food. The place looked clean but the parking lot is rough. It is small and since it is a strip mall with other businesses, it makes it difficult to find a spot close or at all and you may need to park in another lot. If you can, bring a buddy to hop out so you can make a fast get away. read more

I am so disappointed with this place. The cashier took my payment and went into the kitchen to finish bagging my order without washing his hands nor wearing gloves The cashier had an open sore without any dressing nor gloves on The cashier touched the containers my food was in and put mild sauce on my fries before placing uncovered forks and napkins in the bag. I asked if the cashier felt he should wear gloves serving the food because of the open wound and he argued no because the sore didn't touch my food. A hidden little gem who has the BEST Philly in town, seriously!!! We've had their teriyaki chicken, gyro's which was HUGE, and their Philly Cheesesteak which was to die for! My husband puts it up as high as Dave and Busters, which is his all time fav. We didn't care for their wings, as we prefer drumsticks, but all the take-outs were for wings, so they are popular!!
