This is my first time at Scoop N Buns and it was great! They have a lot of options and i got the mango halo halo. Everyone was very nice and they gave us our drinks quickly. We went around noon and the seating area was very crowded. There were a lot of people working on their laptops or hanging out with friends. You can come and visit this place and get to-go but if you want to sit and work, I recommend coming early.

I love unique eateries and this place is totally that! With so many unique flavors, the hard part is making the decision on what you want! I finally decided on the Ube horchata ice cream and my daughter got the Mexican vanilla Oreo ice cream. At checkout, I also got a matcha white chocolate macadamia cookie (Auh-mazing!!!). You gotta come here and try these amazing flavors merried together. There is nothing like it!

Great service as usual! This time I tried a Horchata milkshake and it was blended perfectly. It also tasted delicious. The vibes here are so cool and it's a great place to sit and just chill with a treat!

It's a cute and feel good place. We drove 32 minutes to try their halo halo and it was really good. It's a good place to try other takes on Halo Halo as well. This place blends 2 cultures and I think they're doing a good job. We bought the ube tres leches and ube-mango sticky rice.

The children enjoyed their treats. I had a coconut mocha from Frida's. It was delicious. Service was quick. Ambiance was chill.

    Enjoying the halo-halo.

Clean restaurant with trendy design inside. Service was quick, especially since we were the only ones here in the afternoon. The food was good. We had an ice cream donut and halo-halo. The latter was authentic and tasty.

This place is absolutely amazing. I love how there are two parts each representing a different culture. The halo-halo was great and workers are nice. It was the end of the night and they gave us donuts for free that they were going to toss which was nice. If I lived here, I would be here a lot!

I needed help with buying 2 cakes for my dad's birthday. Zoya was super helpful and offered a helping hand to bake the cakes I wanted for my dad's birthday. I sent her pictures of the design I wanted and they came out beautifully done. I also asked her to put in some stands around the cake to prevent it from sliding around. She took pictures of where she put them so when we cut the cake we would know where they would be. I also told Zoya I had a concern about the cake melting because in the summer time it can get very hot in Texas. She told me she tested the whip cream at different temperatures to make sure it would hold up. The flavors I got were pandan with strawberry cream filling and ube with whip cream. They were two layer cakes 9X13 for $75 each. I also requested fresh fruit to be on top. I will definitely come back and buy cakes from here again! Everyone enjoyed the cake very much.

I'm so so happy to have found a halo halo place here in the DFW. It's also a great idea due to the heat! Halo2 is delicious! I do wish they have the option to add more of the contents. I would love to have more of the jelly. Also recommend adding a special version where there's buko macapuno and flan topping!!! Their customer service is super. Definitely give this place a try! Ah! Also they have so many cute areas to take photos. Definitely a very instagrammable cute spot.

What a cute little dessert gem in Garland! The shop is actually a lot bigger on the inside than I thought and the decorations are all so cute. The staff were all nice and helpful! We ordered churros with ice cream and the donut ice cream sandwich. Both were good. The churros were made fresh on the spot. The have a Filipino dessert - halo halo - but we didn't try it because we thought it was a bit expensive $9.50 pre-tax. If we are back in the area, I will definitely be back to try other ice cream flavors and getting the churros for sure.

I was feeling rather sad for myself after a lousy morning and knew I needed to treat myself to dinner and dessert in an effort to turn my evening around. I'd actually found Henry's a few days ago while looking for a hot dog spot. I'd already devoured a dinner plate when I arrived so a hot dog was out of the question for this visit but I'm totally doing a hot dog, followed by ice cream on my next visit. My split cone, and patriotic rainbow sprinkled waffle cone was soul satisfying! I sat outside and it melted all over. Not a single f given. I left a sticky mess but totally worth it. I'll surely return in the future and hope these two flavors are staples because they nailed them. I've tasted some great ice cream and to be completely honest, that wedding cake flavor should be award winning if it isn't. The flavor profile combined with the texture components. Sensational! Service was friendly. Highly recommend.

The fresh kanafeh is always warm, crispy, and perfectly cheesy with just the right amount of sweetness. We also love getting an assorted selection of baklava--it's flaky, buttery, and packed with flavor. The ambience is bright, welcoming, and a great place to sit and enjoy dessert. The service has always been friendly and attentive, which is one of the reasons we keep coming back.

It was SO special. We haven't been back in many years and not only did that magical original location close, but what we found instead was this monstrosity of a location that felt hyper corporatized and commercial--in other words, soulless. Listen, we don't begrudge them their success. And we were so happy for them when we saw them being mentioned in the NYT a few years ago. But now Bigdash has gone full American--they've expanded to multiple locations, the quality has gone down, and that je-ne-sais-quoi magic is completely gone. We came here yesterday after a stellar meal at Khashoka, excited since it's been so long since our last visit. We walked in (it was freezing) and the whole place looked like a Disney-ified version of the original Big Dash. There was one woman working, and she was very friendly, but what a different experience than mingling with the original owners in the unpretentious cozy ambience. The worst part is that the ice cream is nowhere near as good! The original Arabic ice cream's level of rose water was off and the ice cream's stretchiness felt less organically created. The pistachio was OK. Our daughter got this crazy container of small individual frozen fruit shapes that were covered in chocolate. Those felt cute and special and we liked them all except for the grape. Again, we're happy for Bigdash's success. They deserve it. But we will not be back again because what we loved so much about this place is no longer. Tis the American way, alas! Three stars and sincere best wishes to them.
