I love coming here to study for new certification, work through a coding course, or simply escape the work-from-home routine. The owner has created such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It's no surprise this place draws people in to relax, study, or get things done. My go-to is the chai latte with oat milk and an extra shot of espresso. They always get it just right. And the first time I saw them heat it using hot sand, I was honestly fascinated. It's such a beautiful blend of tradition and craft.

It is a really good place to hang out with friends and get some coffee and dessert. The madlouka was really delicious, not too sweet and slightly chewy. It's best to share it because it was a large portion. It's great that they open late.

Solid 9/10 coffee shop. Nice decor, cool kiosk for ordering, ambient music. Enjoyed my rose macha latte. Coffee was good. Loved the crepe! Great flavor. Only thing was service was a little slow, but worth the wait!

Peace Middle East is such a hidden gem. They had amazing coffee and pastries. I really enjoyed the pistachio latte. There is also plenty of seating and electric plugs which make it a great place to study. They offer free WiFi. The service was very friendly and the establishment was very clean and cozy. Parking: plenty of free lot parking in front of the restaurant.

Strawberry banana waffle. I think Arabic style bc the flower and delicious high quality pistachios on it . Delicious

Best place to study at or do projects in alone or with a group, they close at 2am making it perfect for late night catching up. Safe place, owner is there at night and makes everyone feel safe. All staff are very kind and respectful. Coffees are of utmost quality, fancy coffees better than Starbucks. Lots of tables, chairs and sofas. They play background instrumental music making it easy to concentrate on your work. Great food, tacos and waffles! I am in love with this place. Good spot for proffesionals to come as well. I come here to advance in my nursing career and I feel safe and well served and respected.

Accidentally stumbled upon this gem. This place was not what I was expecting, I just thought it was coffee, but it has so much more to offer. Food items and desserts. I definitely will make time to try all that out. My visit was short, I ordered the Turkish coffee, it was great and the gentleman behind the counter was absolutely the nicest.

Awesome vibes and great food and drinks. The service was so welcoming and they had the order out quick. I think a portion of the proceeds go towards helping civilians in Gaza so it's great to support a business with a cause. Turkish meat pies were actually very filling and I loved the sweet glaze on it. Would come back, there's free wifi and plenty of charging ports.

    Monkey Bread

Really wanted to like this place bc I heard it's good for studying and open late. But tbh is very subpar. Everything's pretty expensive, I only got the monkey bread but it was dry and kind of tasteless. My friend got the chocolate milkshake which was too chocolatety.. also everything takes forever to come out. Just for my monkey bread it took almost 30 mins on a Sunday afternoon. Then while we were studying, a large group comes in apparently booked for a baby shower?!? We weren't kicked out or anything but it was obvious they needed space/chairs so we left to study somewhere else. Might be back to try another drink but overall kind of weird experience and mid food.

This is a conflicted reviewer. The first concern above all else is the general lack of cleanliness this establishment has. Dining area had questionably clean tables and seating. 1/2 bathrooms were out of order. The only usable bathroom didn't have toilet paper and the toilet seat was broken. The food and drinks were great. But due to the cleanliness of the facility, I can't help but wonder if back room/kitchen are kept to sanitary standards. Other reviews also mentioned lack of cleanliness which further validates my concerns.

I have had the opportunity to visit many cafes and this cafe by far had the worst customer service I have ever received. We had ordered a pasta to go that took more than an hour and a half to receive and we were not the only ones waiting for our orders. When we asked to cancel the order, the staff kept telling us no and kept saying it would be ready soon when in reality, that was not the truth. It was pretty busy for a Sunday afternoon, and there was a decent amount of seating however they did not do a good job cleaning up the tables quick enough after customers left so people coming in would still sit at dirty tables. The food that we ordered though was okay for the most part. My favorite thing that we tried was the truffle fries and the crepe! The churros were very stale though so I would not recommend. The nitro brew was pretty good if you're looking for something without a lot of sugar as well!

This place deserves more popularity!!! The food was beautiful and tatse delicious. I like the ambiance and feel welcomed by the employees, the owner is enthusiastic and helped us by going over the menu and offering his own personal choices. We'll definitely come back soon

Cute little café open late staff was extremely friendly. They give us a couple of dessert recommendations which were fantastic. I work in the liquor industry and often have customers ask for nonalcoholic drinks, and would definitely recommend them here. Will definitely be back for a late study night.

If you're someone who finds traditional matcha a little too strong or grassy, this is a great option. It was lighter, fruit-forward, and the mango flavor came through nicely. The pastry case also caught my attention--everything looked fresh and incredibly tempting. I didn't get a chance to try any this visit, so I'm looking forward to trying some of the pastries next time. Overall, a nice spot for a lighter matcha drink and worth checking out if you're looking for something a little different. Staff was sweet and organized as they were a bit busy.

Trisha took my order and was super awesome at making many great recommendations while Miriam cranked the beverages for the people ahead of me. Loved the GF option for an almond loaf. This reminds me of a wonderful home cafe mixed with a nice southern coffee shop. They even have seating outside for a beautiful day like the day I went. Very Austin vibes. Seating options are from regular wood bench to a cozy couch. Loved the live plants that add fresh air and a nice atmosphere. They had low playing music that was very urban so you can carry a conversation while supporting smaller artists and working on work. Headphones if you'd like your own music would be great and wouldn't be interrupted with the music playing in the shop. Biscoff caramel latte: Wonderful flavor of coffee. I was fearful it'd be too sweet but it was perfectly sweetened. The Biscoff crumbles add the Biscoff flavor and the caramel isn't overpowering. It's a soft balance of the two together. The foam was pleasant and would recommend hot. Personally would love a stronger Biscoff flavor cause Biscoff is my favorite cracker. But other than that, a super solid beverage. Almond Loaf (GF): The crumble and moist texture were perfect. Not too crazy of a GF taste. Different but wonderful. The top has a crumble similar to Almond croissant that is so satisfying if you're craving a lil more sweet with your bite. Together: Wonderful together. The almond loaf isn't dense but it doesn't completely fall apart either. Super happy.

Located among the shops and bars of historic downtown sits 1418 Coffee, a cute and genuinely great little shop that fits the area perfectly. Inside, the shop is fairly narrow but offers a good amount of both indoor and outdoor seating. I arrived with a friend a little before 11 am on a Sunday, and it was absolutely packed. A biking group was posted up outside, students were inside working on homework, even though most colleges have not started yet, and plenty of other patrons were taking their Sunday mornings easy. Despite having at least 10 to 15 people in front of us, the line moved pretty quickly. My friend who was more of a regular at the shop knew a lot of the staff and had convos with them. It feels like a little community! I ordered the Maple Sausage Croissant sourced from Sugar Loaf Bakery along with a hot Purple Haze latte made with lavender and vanilla syrup. My drink came out fairly quickly, and I thought it was great. It was well balanced and not overly sweet. As for the Maple Sausage Croissant, it was exactly what it sounded like, a maple sausage tucked into a croissant. I initially expected the croissant itself to be maple flavored, similar to a McGriddle, but it was still fresh and enjoyable. They had been keeping them warm in a heater throughout the morning, which definitely helped. I have stopped by 1418 Coffee a few times when visiting Dallas, and I plan to keep returning. They consistently do a great job and fit right into the charm of downtown Plano. RIYL: A warm haven in a beautiful downtown.

So if you just ate nasty Pate And puked up your odd Yerba Mate Just wash it back down With the best tea in Town A yumstastic Milk Tea from TeaLatte! Very interesting and different bubble tea shop, making some of the strongest and best-tasting milk teas I've ever had. Their fruit drinks are fantastic too. What to get: Ceylon Milk Tea, Teapresso Milk Tea Everywhere outside Dallas, this is known as Teapresso Bar, and it's a shame this one isn't Teapresso, otherwise I could have used this limerick instead: So if you come down to Teapresso Be careful you don't make a messo Or like Monica Lewinsky You can get a bit kinky And show up with cum stains on your dresso. Oh wait, I just did. So this is probably the best milk tea in Dallas. A lot of the other chains have gone down in quality and don't taste like tea anymore, although Tea Top and OneZo are good, among others. But for the best, most delicious Black Milk Tea around, come here. I also love the Teapresso Milk Tea which is a combination of different milk teas and has a very interesting taste. Some of the many Dallas locations are less than friendly, and less tasty, but this one was hyper tasty, and perhaps the most friendly of all of them. Sooner or Latte you have to try this place. It's quite different to any other Boba shop. Except the other TeaLatte's around DFW (there's maybe 7 or 8 now), and the Teapresso Bars in Houston (I think there's 2 at the moment), and the ones in Hawaii, where the chain is from. Yes, they're from Hawaii. That might explain why they taste so different - in a good way. We will definitely be coming back in the future to try different things, but do bear in mind that for the purist this is definitely along the lines of somewhat Americanized (or Hawaiianized) Boba rather than a Taiwanese original. For me, it really works. Because I love my strong tea taste in my milk teas. I'm so old fashioned. Barbi absolutely hated it the first time she came. She got one of those bright blue drinks and it honestly didn't taste that great. I didn't really want very much of it either so I don't blame her. But I do think my booty was good. I mean Milk Tea.
