Over the years I move around to different coffee spots! Hadn't been to Big Foot in a minute but tonight I did!! So happy to see a switch up in the menu! My fave Yetea Splash is baaaackk and I'm beyond thrilled about it! The unicorn dream energy drink that I got was EVERYTHING! Can't wait to try some other concoctions! The girls were nice and the line moved quickly

He insists that their cold brew with caramel is one of the best drinks out there so he got that as well as another for my boyfriend. I got one of their summer special: raspberry mango matcha which was so delicious and refreshing. The flavors of raspberry and mango paired very well with the creaminess of the matcha. I did take a sip of the cold brew and it is definitely better than some of the cold brews that I've had in Tacoma, Seattle, Bellevue, and other areas. They also get pretty busy which shows that they are a great local choice for good coffee, other drinks, and treats! The coffee stand is a good size and the menu is kinda hard to see from far away but once you get closer, you can see better. I do wish they list their prices but I also understand why they don't. Service was also efficient and professional. Going to make a few spots here every now and then as I want to try out their other options! The energy drinks look good too.

They have seasonal specials which is always a win for my boyfriend and I as we love trying out new specials. The staff here greeted us warmly and was very patient with the customer before us who was buying a gift card and helped us with the same professionalism and friendliness. We stopped by recently to grab their fall drinks and I saw on the sign that the drink I chose pairs well with a pumpkin spice whipped cream. It is extra so I decided against it. We found a spot to sit at while we waited for our drinks and not only did the employee hand delivered our drinks to us but told me she added the pumpkin spice whipped cream for me. I thought that was super sweet of her that makes the visit all the more special and reason to visit. They do also have a reward system that we joined too. The store is well maintained and there are plenty of seating and tables for all sorts of groups or sole patrons. They have some handcrafted goods to buy as well. We asked if they were dog friendly and they said dogs are welcome so we definitely will stop by more often as the weather gets colder.

We never disliked the beer but it was also not one of our most favorite breweries in Tacoma. But we have learned that it looks like new ownership has taken over at this brewery. The name remains the same. The merchandise is mostly the same in concept but with a few tweeks. Probably what we noticed most was the beer recipes changed as did some of the beer options. We felt like it was an improvement actually. We have been here twice now since the changes and it definitely generates more motivation to go over there. We have had a few very tasty lighter beers since on the first visit. On the second we had a great Black IPA called Nightmare 21. Black IPA'S aren't super common so we get them when we can. Another fun dark beer was Haunted Windchimes was what it was called. The name itself sold me on wanting it but it didn't disappoint either. So looking forward to more frequent returns to North 47!

The appetizers were a highlight -- the Brussels sprouts and baked brie were both excellent -- and the salads (arugula and iceberg) were fresh and well done. Unfortunately, the pasta fell short. I ordered the lamb bolognese, and the celery was cut too large instead of being finely diced, which threw off the texture. More importantly, the lamb flavor was nearly nonexistent. The biggest issue, though, was the pasta itself -- gummy and overcooked, not al dente. My father-in-law asked for a refill on coffee, they took his cup, then came back and told him there would be a charge, which is ridiculous, but we agreed, and then they never brought the coffee. Overall, I'd only return for appetizers and drinks on the deck in the summer.

We ordered diner when the appetizer arrived. For diner we ordered Risotti Di Amore and the Short Rib. Diner arrived faster(7:14) and was absolutely delicious. The server again took some time to come to our table. We wanted creme brulee for desert but they were out. We had the butter cake(7:57) it was yummy. We also had the Lemon curd dome, it was ok. We paid 249.79 (which included a 20% large party gratuity in hindsight: 1. There was only 2 of us. 2. It wasn't previously stated, is this normal here?) I really wanted to rate them higher because the food was really good but the service just wasn't .

I love Non La because they have a vegan banh mi, and even though it doesn't have mayo or pate, it's still very flavorful with a good texture. The bread has always been crispy but not dry, and despite living 30 mins from Non La, my sandwiches have remained in good condition without falling apart from the sauces in the sandwich. The vegetables are always fresh and crispy, and I appreciate that they make an effort to have some skin on the cucumbers so there's crunch. The vegan meat is really good; my partner isn't vegetarian and opts for the vegan sandwich after trying mine the first time. I noticed from other comments that they felt the extra charges for toppings seemed overly expensive for what was given. While I cannot know what happened when those folks ordered, I will say that I have always ordered extra cucumbers on my sandwiches, which I believe was a $0.25 charge. I am always satisfied with the amount of cucumber I receive on my sandwiches and feel that the extra charge is worth it. As far as pricing goes, I find Non La to be the most reasonable restaurant for prices overall. Locally, most banh mis in my area are around $15/each. Non La's vegan banh mi with extra cucumbers, at least on DoorDash, is $10.25. It may be less expensive in person, sometimes DoorDash prices are a little extra to account for the cost to use DoorDash services. Based on my experiences, I find this to be really great pricing, and feel that the cost is worth the product I receive. Their pandan coffee is so good and $8 on DoorDash, which is more than competitive with local specialty coffee and boba stores in my opinion. I would think it would be hard to find cheaper coffee pretty much anywhere, if I'm honest. All that to say, Non La is a favorite in my household, and it's definitely worth trying.
