Had been wanting to try this place with my husband. So we walked in a half hour after Bingo started and eventually found out that we couldn't participate unless we had arrived before it started. Which was a bummer, since usually you can join in after a game is over. No one acknowledged us besides the waitress taking our order. The first drink I got was very weak. I ordered the fish n' chips and the fish was pretty good; the fries were really heavy though, and I couldn't get through them. My husband said his burger was OK, not great. I ordered another drink, which was even weaker than the first. I asked if they could add a little more booze to it since I couldn't taste any and was brought another shot--it seemed like it was a big inconvenience-- and was charged for it. Have only been into The Bigfoot a few times since new ownership. Of the few past afternoon stop in's the place hasn't offered that old welcoming Local Pub Vibe but thought I'd give it another try this afternoon. - I walk in @ 4:30pm Friday & there are 3 ppl sitting in the upper section & 2 guys on the long east end bar which "Both" female bartenders are talking to. I pull up a seat at the small west end bar & lay $'s out on bar to order & pay for a drink - Bartender makes eye contact & continues talking to 2 guys @ bar - 2 New ppl walk in from street, go to bar right next to me & get served - Bartender goes back to other bartender & continues talking to 2 guys - Another person comes in from outside & orders drink at bar right next to me - Bartender serves him, glances at me & goes back to talking to the 2 guys at other end of bar & other bartender - Somewhat STUNNED, I get up, go over & ask her if she was aware I was sitting there waiting to get served? - She simply looked at me with a uncaring stare & with no apology or apologetic look simply said "I didn't see you" & doesn't offer to help me & goes back to talking. - If you know the layout of the Bigfoot & what I have described, the chances of her not seeing me especially after making eye contact are next to "0%"!!! This was not a case of not seeing me, it was a case of #1 Horrible Customer Service #2 Poor training & accountability by the on sight General Manager to make employees understand why they are employed there. Which is to make Money! #3 Failure as a corporation to develop & implement consistent management practices & goals. This 1 stumps me the most because just a few miles away is another 1 of their Corporate Bars where you will find non of this. = I used to spend $1,000's at the Bigfoot annually & do understand times change & the Target Audience changes with it. But to be treated like that on a dead afternoon @ 4:30pm is insulting not only to me but also to the management there. We went here with friends to get a couple drinks and we had a good time! The drinks were good, they had live music, and lots of things to do! The servers were great and even when they were busy they were super sweet! I think this is a great time when you get the chance to go out! read more

I came here with my fellow apprentices to study. Because of Covid restrictions it's been difficult to find places that have the availability to host groups. Luckily the restrictions had been loosened a wee bit when we came here. The bartender was super friendly and despite being busy with tasks always took care of our group and got everything to us in a very timely manner. I had the nachos. And although they didn't compare to the ones back home, there were damn good. Best I have found in Spokane. We started inside the building but ended up in the outdoor smoking area. With all the heaters and covering it was actually warm and less crowded. We were even able to utilize the free pool tables in the outdoor area for a few games. This is a great bar. And what I would want for my local watering hole. I hope to come back here soon. read more

Denied to serve me with my Valid Washington Drivers license because I "looked young" the bartender had a horrible attitude and the supposed "bar manager" that was sitting near the bar drinking alcohol on shift, refused to scan the ID and said they had no way to verify. My Dad and I just moved to the neighborhood and constantly play pool and enjoy our local dives wherever we go, Never in the many years I have had A valid ID have I been denied service based on how I look, not a good look for the owners, and clearly not welcoming to anyone Looking to find there new favorite place to have a drink and shoot some pool. This place has been in operation since 1972! I was expecting a dark and dirty little dive, but I was pleasantly surprised. It is also much larger on the inside than it seems. There is plenty of parking in back as well, I was worrird as I pulled in because I was hauling a trailer. LOL For the smokers there is a HUGE outdoor heated and enclosed area complete with tables, chairs, and pool tables. Inside there is plenty of seating and room to roam with an appropriate amount of non- harsh lighting so you are able to see across the room. There is a jukebox with various music tastes and the volume is set so you can still have conversation AND hear what's being played. The restrooms didn't disgust me and were relatively clean and stocked. If you go earlier in the evening you will meet some of the long time locals whom are friendly. We joined a few folks at their table. The later it gets the younger the crowd is, as with most establishments. They offer a full bar with a good amount of beer selection and the bartenders can make a decent drink even if they aren't familiar with it. They do serve food, mostly the typical bar food you crave like burgers and such...and for the more seasoned folks, they have fried gizzards! I just ordered hot wings and tater tots. The wings were pretty good, although I like them more crispy and forgot to tell them to fry them longer and the tots were abundant and perfect (did not taste like overused oil). In summary, I would add this place to your list of pretty good bars to go to if you aren't looking for too loud and crowded or to slow and boring. I came here on a pilgrimage because "Vision Quest" is one of my favorite movies and I left having a wonderful experience loving this place. There are plenty of TV's to watch games and gamble. What I enjoyed is the conversations with the staff and regulars who frequent this establishment. Great Happy Hour specials and enjoyed a $10.99, 2 topping pizza. Also enjoyed karaoke here. This pub deserves 5 stars based on their burger alone! The pizza is also delicious. Bigfoot is unique in its diversity of customers, outstanding music, and laid back atmosphere. In addition, there are 4 quality pool tables, maybe 15 televisions, and other fun games, including pull tabs! Most importantly, the servers are down to earth, friendly, and pour generously. This place is frankly an outdated, nasty dive bar with very questionable people hanging around, pathetic bathrooms, and smoking area out back thats gross, but when they have a band like Karma Circle I will show up because its close to the house! I am going to give it a 3 overall as I really like the bartenders who always provide excellent service and the decent priced drinks. They do have a golden tee. The Bigfoot was a lot cooler when you could still smoke inside. We are in Spokane visiting family and have had a good time in years past coming to Bigfoot. This past Saturday night, my husband, me, and another family member dropped in to hang out. This place was completely dead, there were maybe 3 patrons inside. But, we didn't mind, we were about to order a few drinks and actually give this place some business....I mean, it is kinda sad that a bar was that dead on a Saturday night. Anyway, Ms. Bartender was the rudest person I have ever had the change to encounter. My husband had forgotten his ID, but she was not gracious at all. She basically told us to screw off. We gave Ms. Bartender a second chance once my husband got his wallet. Ms. Bartender continued her rudeness streak and barely wanted to serve us any drinks...and remember, this place is in desperate need of business, but Ms. Bartender rather just shoo shoo away business. Always liked the place. I worked a block away before I moved. I went there for lunch and a game of pool every day. This was also one of the rotating Apple pool league bars. Dog, my pool mentor died and we had the reception there. This is a local dive bar and I am sure does not hold up to the "snoots" from California. Was there for 2 hours, and only got one shot tried letting them know I want a shot and all I got was a smart ass comment.

My comments will center around the karaoke at this bar. The marque says karaoke Thursday/Sunday. It might as well say "just kidding." So, you show up at 7:45 (show starts at 8). You put in some songs anticipating a start in 15 minutes. DJ music/videos are BLASTING. Two gigantic QSC subwoofers are cranked and bass thumping. Eight O'clock comes and goes with more DJ music playing. At 8:11, Gavin announces "I'm Gavin, I'll be you KJ and DJ tonight." I'm thinking to myself, why is it we need a DJ if it's karaoke night? The answer is simple.After EVERY rotation, you will be treated to 20-25 minutes of MORE DJ stuff. So, the show officially started at 8:12. The library, apparently, consists of Karafun tracks. It's 42,000 songs. The same library you can rent for home use for $12/month. No Sound Choice, No Chartbuser, No Karaoke Version, no 150,000 to 200,000 tracks like most shows. The mics were WAY too hot, but then if you're trying to sing over 3000 watts of QSC bass, they have to be hot. So, first rotation went from 8:12 to 8:50, 38 minutes. We were then treated to a "musical break until 9:10. I'm not sure HOW long it would have gone if I hadn't gotten rude about getting the F.........ing karaoke going. During the "musical break", I asked the doorman if this was usual. He said, "Yes, he takes a break after every rotation." Then, there's Gavin's idea of a rotation. Of course I should have expected rude treatment for MAKING him go back to karaoke prematurely. The clowns who finished the first rotation (who should be last in line), were FIRST up in the second rotation. ME? Well, I was first in the first rotation, but fifth in the second one. I had been the first person to put songs up, but had to wait until halfway through the second rotation to sing again. After I sang the second song, I left. I won't return as long as this guy runs karaoke. read more
